Episode 199: Memories of Norkin

* Norkin Perspective

When Terry and Geronimo arrived in Nowrance as escorts, a man named Magnus, entrusted with the land, entered as our entertainer. The man was a snobby face, but he did a solid job so that he had no problems at all as an accessory.

Kent's country made me realize that it was prospering by gaining people for its operations, but at the same time it seemed to be showing a low level of talent in the Eastern Garuda Emirate, the country of Ole and Alonza.

The next day, a transfer dragonut arrived in Nowrance and flew all the way to Estfort, where Kent's Castle Hall was located, once boarded on the back of that dragonut.

"... Lord Norkin. Long time no see. Mr. Kent has told me to respond adequately, so if you have any inconvenience, please don't hesitate to make a private offer."

It was not Kent, the king, who greeted him, but Lila, the prime minister. She had gained acquaintance through Pausha as she was plotting independence with Alonza in the east during the Battle of Gertrut. He is also a benefactor who persuaded Velis, who was also opposed when he acquired post-war autonomy.

"Is the welcome Lord Lyla or Lord Kent as busy as ever? Or are you immersed in Elkis Sacrifice Chief?

I didn't see Kent so I tried to camouflage Lyla, but she was laughing elegantly with her ho ho ho.

"Well, that's the thing. Isn't Lord Norkin supposed to know the nature of my king?

"You did. This is an unofficial visit to participate in the Beast King's Guild, but I would be grateful if you would give me that kind of welcome when I'm officially visiting."

This time to celebrate the dowry of the Elkis sacrificial chief, and to participate in the Beast King's Martial Arts Association to be held in the land to bring the first tooth seat of the Garuda Luo Shijie back to Alonza, so he was entering this southern border berg country as a man of the Luo tribe of Ichika building.

"Please do not hesitate to use the quarters as we offer noble mansions in Avisvena. Rest assured that our country will pay for accommodation, etc."

"I'm sorry about that. We're a poor country, so Alonza didn't give us a lot of money. I also heard that Avisvena was expensive, so I was just rubbing my mind."

Lyla was laughing at me when she saw me.

"Lord Norkin is somewhat like my king, isn't he? He's not even a king."

"Really? Admittedly, I'm not a king, but would Lord Kent be admired by the people? Alonza praised those who were once called kings and laid such good governance."

"I'm talking to you because it's Lord Norkin, and Master Kent just doesn't like his job. Because it's Kent's political skill to push anyone who can."

Lyla was found by Kent to be a talent for the success of launching the southern border as an autonomous nation. Originally, he waved a spicy arm in the kingdom as Gwayne's wife, but when he came to Kent and his talent sprouted all at once, he was now a female jewel cutting up a country as a female prime minister.

"Lord Kent is blessed and envious of people... not to say. I also think Alonza will be a prime minister comparable to Lord Lyla."

"I also wrap my tongue around Lord Alonza's knowledge. She could do it on an equal footing with me."

Lyla also seemed to acknowledge Alonza's abilities. Lila, the prime minister, was busy, even though she wanted to keep talking, and the neighboring guard was slapping her in the ear.

"Lord Lyla seems busy. All you have to do is put a guide in Abysvena's quarters."

"I won't go along with it. The guide will have someone named Annabella, so ask her for more information. Now, if you'll excuse me."

"Ooh, if you're free again, I'll come see you. We'll be living in Avisvena for a while."

When Lyla left graciously, a woman with brown hair, believed to be in her twenties in maid clothes, entered from the castle hall. When a woman comes before me, she greets me perfectly by behaving truly.

"I leaned on the guide from Master Lyla. My name is Annabella."

"I'm Norkin. And then Terry and Geronimo."

Annabella sends a gaze that sets the rules for us, but it wasn't a gaze that made her uncomfortable. Instead, she had sensed signs like a samurai of practice.

"Does Annabella have any combat positions?

I was intrigued by the signs I felt, so I put the question in my mouth with indignation.

"I am gaining the position of warrior to protect Lord Kent. It's no big deal..."

"Ho... I've been given a lot of signs of no gaps..."

"Hmm! Dear Norkin. Unnecessary prying into women is rude. Should I report it to Master Alonza when I leave?

When Terry, who was standing behind him, coughed heavily, the stop went in to put a stop to questions about Annabella.

"That's not good. Lord Annabella, I apologize. Well, I'll ask for a guide."

"Yes. I accept. We have a carriage for you to catch."

Get in the carriage that was parked nearby at the head of Annabella. The carriage ran out for Avisvena.

The mansion offered as a lodging in the noble town of Abysvena with the guidance of Annabella was made more lavish than the mansion we use as the royal castle of the Emirate of Garuda. When she unloaded her stuff, Annabella said the mansion's servants were free to use it and go home.

Terry quickly gathered the servants and unpacked their luggage to prepare them for my quarters.

I talked to Terry about helping, too, but he refused to let the king do his job, so I decided to take Geronimo with me until I cleaned it up and tour where I used to be taught by Bertram and Repulse.

The first thing we headed for was the Hunter Guild building on Hunter Street.

Before I lost my memory, Repulse told me that I lived as a demon hunt specializing in escorts in the land, but I didn't remember any of it coming to mind when I saw the building that showed up in front of me. Once inside the Hunter Guild, around ten demon hunters who were drinking inside begin to bother.

"Hey... isn't that Norkin from 'Wolffang'... he must be king in the east now for sure..."

"You're like someone else. He said he couldn't come all the way to Nanbu because of the Beast King's Guild."

"I've heard rumors that you were a general of the Imperial Army of God when you thought you were missing."

"But the guys at Remark Dojo are pathetic. The Dojo that Norkin was working on in detail because he became a bandit general, didn't he?

"The reason for the crushing is different, but rumors have spread that it will crumble before then. It should have been confirmed by the time Berholt died in prison. It's a miracle it lasted until last year."

The demon hunters, who were arranging for food and drink space on the ground floor and eating booze and knobs, were talking about various concerns. I'm interested in getting closer to the group.

"I'm sorry, but what kind of relationship did Lemark Dojo have with me? I would appreciate it if you could tell me concisely. My name is Norkin Wolffang, by the way. They let me be the chief of the Eastern Garuda Emirate."

The demon hunters sitting at the table knock down the chair and stand up.

"Seriously! Real nokin 'cool! Hi! Sorry, it was Norkin."

The demon hunt for young demons has obviously changed my attitude when I find out I'm Nokin.

"I ask you one more time, what's my relationship with Remark Dojo?"

The Garuda Lo man next door gave him a long look, but he started talking when he was pushed by my signs.

"I've heard from other demon hunters that Norkin was originally studying at the Dojo in Berholt Remark. Remark Dojo is a swordsmanship dojo in Avisvena. It crumbled after last year's big raid. I've heard there were a couple of janitors."

"That's where Norkin's martial arts were forged, Dana."

Geronimo, who had followed me as an escort, was also happy to see a glimpse of one end of my strength.

"Do you know where that Remark dojo is and where the former gatekeeper is? If you look into it, I'll give you a lot of thanks."

"I can't do it right away, but with a handover, you should be able to find out. Give me three days and I'll look into it."

The Garuda Lo man has suddenly shown motivation when he flickers about the gratuity.

"Then please. I'm staying at a mansion in the aristocratic district, so come over when you get some information. If I'm not here, give the information to a woman named Terry and we'll make sure they pay for it."

"Okay."

The Garuda Lo man jumped out into the city so that he could play.

Next he was coming to the 'Silver Wolf Pavilion' in the same Hunter Street. I heard from Repulse that before he became a freelance solo hunter, he belonged to 'Silver Wolf', the store owner and Matthew's hunt while attending Remark's dojo.

"Welcome... oh, you've got a rare face. Norkin, I heard you were King Ikinari in the east when you thought you were gone. Be the Atashi. I still have Freiria... whoa, Hendrik stopped me."

A bird-bred woman who seemed busy cooking in the kitchen of the store came to reprimand me when she saw my face. When the name of the woman she said came up in her brain, a fragment of her memory came up like a summer hanging on her.

The memory was of a beautiful woman lying in front of me, who seemed to be a demon, standing still with her hands covered in blood.

... what is this memory...

"Whoa! Nokin! It's not Norkin! I was worried because I heard he was gone, but he survived that terrible battle and became king."

When I was obsessed with the fragments of memory that had sprung up, a man with a thick chest plate grabbed my shoulder in vain from behind.

"Don't touch Master Norkin. You want me to break your arm?

Geronimo pays off the hand of a man.

"Whoa! You just say hello to a familiar old man and you're willing to kill him?

"Geronimo. It's okay. No harm done to this man."

"Matthew doesn't want to kill either. Beatrice will be here soon for dinner."

"Whoa, I'm sorry. If Delma tells me, I can't say anything back."

A demonic man called Matthew sat dokali in the seat beside me.

"By the way, did you come to join the Beast King's Guild this time?

"That's right. I am here to occupy the first tooth of the Garuda Luo Shijie. I'm sorry about Kent, but I can't give it to you."

Matthew shouts out at Delma, who was in the kitchen, when he says I'm going to be at the Beast King's Martial Arts.

"Delma! Oh, my God! Norkin is really after Kalu Shijie's first tooth. If we keep this up, Kent will be half-killed."

Delma's hand stopped cooking in the kitchen. And I've only pointed my face at this one.

"What! Nokin! Do you know what it means to sit on your first tooth? You must have been the grand chief of the Garuda Luo, recognized by Lord Elkis, but not a decorative chief in the Garuda Luo Shijie. What do you think will happen if you occupy your first tooth in this Beast King's Guild? The Garuda will break apart in the south and east! You don't even know that!

I'm angry with the momentum that Delma has to spark the fire, but I couldn't understand why I'd be so angry. Because Alonza said that if I occupy the first tooth, I will increase my authority as the Great Chief of the Garuda, and that I will try to improve my status by bringing together the powers of the Garuda Lo people living throughout the Devil's Continent.

I don't know what Delma means to crack the Garuda Lo tribe in the east and south. For it should be the code of the race that the Garuda Lo folk follow the instructions of the Great Sheikh, no matter which land they live in.

"Why can't I just sit on my first fang? The great chief must have come from generation to generation to occupy the first fang..."

"Kent made Master Elkis his wife. I thought the Witch of the Beast King's authority over the Moon God outweighed the Great Sheikh, didn't I? Besides, do you think Talia, Lord Elkis' advisor, will make you the first fang?

I've put the knife that Delma had in my hand and pointed it at me.

"I thought the Beast King Performing Guild was open to anyone if the delegates were of the Garuda Lo tribe, but not? Or do you think this tournament is a race?

"I hate to say it's a done race, but I think the Blackdaggers will raise their total strength to support you more than Kent will compete in. How much do you think Norkin could compete decently with the Black Daggers, the leading bourgeoisie and powerful private hunter in the Devil's Continent, even though he became king?

"Whether I can do it or not, I'm just going to do my best to get the pinnacle."

Delma was sighing heavily at my words.

"Ha ha, you're more of a brain muscle thinker than our husband. No way! I've decided to show up to stop you. Matthew, I need you to look after the good living members who are in Verado. We'll stop this idiot's rampage, too!

"Ooh. You want me to let Kent use Dragoneworth flights?

"Right. Shall I ask Beatrice for it? And I'd like to use that girl's help. Maybe twenty dessert vouchers."

"Beatrice, are you going to give it out too?

"It's obvious. That girl's going to be one of our strongest."

"No, no, Beatrice is from the Hunts of Kent..."

"I won't stick around and say. This is for Kent's sake, so he'll forgive me."

The two of them started a couple of comics in such a way that they ignored me. Geronimo, who was holding back, starts pulling my clothes.

"Dear Norkin... I think this is a waste of time."

"Right. I seem to have pissed them off. [M] I still don't really understand why you're angry... well, fine. Let's just say we don't have time to go back."

The 'Silver Wolf' team led by Derma and Matthew, who decided to join the Beast King's Guild of Exercise, was a sign that they were going to be a team that would fully satisfy my struggle from the power of the two of them.

... Now it looks like there's another team out there that can enjoy the fight a lot.

I decided to leave the Silver Wolf Pavilion when I secretly bit my joy in anticipation of a confrontation with them.

Three days later, when he began to lodge in Abysvena's quarters, a Garuda Lo man appeared with information who had previously made him look into the matter of the gatekeepers at Lemark Dojo in the Hunter Guild.

If you stop by the men's information, the gatekeepers, who were about ten after the disbandment of the dojo, entered the Hunting Regiment of Hendrik and are currently at Fort Ferád, and the only man left in Avisvena currently was a cat breed named Gallo. Gallo was recognized by Berholt Remark as a spear user, and he was apparently a man in his twenties who was polishing his moves with me as a southern army master of martial arts and Remark Dojo master of martial arts.

When Berholt was involved in the disturbance at Uncle Dwight's house, he was the man who had been dismissed from his post and imprisoned together for sheltering his master, Berholt. Berholt died in prison, and when Uncle Dwight's home riots were put away by Arborest, he got out and focused on rebuilding the dojo with me.

But I had no memory at all of that time, and I couldn't even remember the face of a man named Gallo. But I decided to go see Gallo.

The place where Gallo was taught to be was a raucous liquor store in the alley of Hunter Street in Avisvena. Opening the doors and entering the tavern was partly due to the daytime, and the number of guests was zero.

"I'm sorry, but I'm ready... no, Lord Norkin!

I was surprised to see a man in his forties and stubborn cat breed consolidating himself with skinny but supple muscles. A new fragment of memory reappears in my head when I see his face. In the rain, there's footage of someone burying their body in a graveyard, and next to me, there's a demon woman floating around at Matthew's place and a gallo in front of her.

... I'm coming to the south and my memory seems to be returning fragmented... but it doesn't seem like a very good memory.

"I couldn't protect my absence and crushed the dojo... what can I say and apologize for... Hendrik pulled through the gatekeepers one after the other in order to participate in the Beast King's Martial Arts Party, which Lord Norkin planned to hold in the east after the Great Raid, and finally crushed them"

Gallo and the man rubbed his forehead against the floor and sat down in the ground. When I hear the name Hendrik, a fragment of my memory comes to mind again. It's a sight of a young demon man crying over a fallen demon woman staring at me with hateful eyes.

... I still have a hard memory of disappearing... shouldn't I have come to the south...

"Keep your head up. I'm sorry, but I have little memory of my time in the South."

Gallo looks up and peeks into my face.

"The oldest memory I have left is when I was forced to kill each other in the Gertrude camp without any explanation. Losing previous memories."

I decided to reveal to Gallo, who I met for the first time, the key secretary of the Emirate of Garuda.

"No, Master Norkin! What are you talking about! That's stopped by Master Alonza!

Geronimo panicked when he heard me speak.

"Ho, I really lost my memory... forget about the master and the lady..."

"Oh, I'm forgetting. Think of Norkin, who is here now, not Norkin, who taught Berholt Remark, but Norkin, the Great Chief of the Garuda."

Gallo was surprised to learn that I was losing my memory, but eventually he was nodding as he was convinced by himself.

"... right... you better forget. That memory tormented you, and it tormented all around you. If you're forgetting, you better not remember."

Gallo was squeaking lonely. After all, what happened here (Avisvena) is not a good memory for me.

"So think that today you have borrowed the help of Lord Gallo, who was a former master of the Lemark Dojo as Chief of the Garuda Luo. If you're smart, I'd like to hold you in Takalu as Kalu Emirate Master of Arts. I'm sorry for being so quick, but let me try my arm."

"Ha!? From now on? I hear you, Lord Norkin."

Gallo was surprised by my offer, but as soon as he returned to the samurai's face, he took the stick that was nearby and went out into the alley. I follow him into the alley, too.

"I'll take care of Lord Norkin's stuff. I don't want to get hurt, either."

Gallo has thrown a stick about the same length as himself as a gain. When I receive it, I try to make a gentle bare gesture to see how it feels. It was a stick of wood that was going to break when it was slashed with bad force.

"That's going to break..."

"Dear Norkin! Let's start with Ode."

Geronimo interrupted me where I was motivated. Geronimo was fully armed with metal armor because he was being brought as an escort.

"Really... okay, Geronimo. Did I say you? I'll let you get used to your shoulders before you do it with Lord Norkin."

Speaking of which, Gallo goes into battle mode all at once with a stick in his arms. The gentle face looked sharper and stared at Geronimo's missed every step of the way. Geronimo also goes into serious mode in the wake of his opponent's enthusiasm.

Geronimo steps out gleefully to challenge Gallo. It was a rush with a special shield and guarding the steeple, and Gallo, with only a stick, could not see where he could attack.

Gallo, however, used a stick to push Geronimo's thrust, and stood behind him and launched a thrust behind his knee, the actuation part of the metal armor.

"Guuuuu!! No!"

Geronimo breaks down and pokes his knee, having been struck behind a knee with a thin defense. There Gallo unleashed his full poke at the steel helmet.

Con!!

The stick looked like he had just slapped his helmet vainly, but Geronimo fell to the ground at the forefront as it was.

"Ho, that's your arm... I didn't know it would be easy to get Geronimo..."

Talk to Gallo, who is breathing.

"No, no, Geronimo, you're quite skillful, too. It is only Lord Norkin's escort. Winning or losing was a piece of paper."

"And how did the last poke take down Geronimo?

"That's a warfare technique called [brain sharpening] that sends shocks inside with a punch at the tip of the bar and shakes the brain. The harder the opponent, the better the fight moves. He applied Master Berholt's moves to his technique."

Gallo was a martyr of great skill. However, it seemed to have become a caution stick for the pub at the end of the day, concerned about crushing the dojo, but it turned out that it was smoking in such a place and not a good person.

At that time, Geronimo, waving his head from a blurb and concussion, was arching his hand to Gallo.

"I was impressed by Lord Gallo's martial arts. I want you to help me with Master Norkin. And I'd appreciate it if you could do an audition for Ode."

"Geronimo, you have rough sharpening too, but good qualities. I can help you, if you like."

Gallo confronted me when he asked Geronimo to stand up to take an arch thank you.

"It depends, so could you hire me in Lord Norkin's country?

"You'll be eligible for my SS at the time you defeat Geronimo. All you have to do is deal with me."

I lay down the stick in my hand and drop my hips. Gallo was looking at me again. The tingly, tense air begins to drift around. By the way, if my toes had been placed within the Gallo's attack zone, I would have headed to the steeple and a stick burst was about to fly.

Stand still and keep pressure on Gallo. It takes a lot of concentration to work with patience and assemble all kinds of attack predictions. It was Gallo who rushed the task ahead.

When I packed a good deal of time, the steeplechase of my parts carried out multiple sharp punches. I was worried about the endurance of the weapon because it only played with a stick that was likely to cause fatal injury, but the product was different from usual. I don't have time to breathe. Gallo's streak is coming at me.

"That's Lord Norkin. It's been a long time since you've been taking me seriously."

"Dear Lord Gallo, don't let your blood roll."

The tip of the bar with the chipped transverse hair accidentally fell towards my shoulder. Looks like Gallo switched from a stick on hand to a strike attack. I pushed my stick forward and tried to avoid a blow attack, but the only stick I bumped into was the one I smashed. I came down looking for my shoulder.

... Shit!! This leads to fatal injuries...

He lifted his arm slightly and prevented Gallo's stick from breaking his clavicle, but his hand, which received the stick, was paralyzed and rendered useless.

"Kuhaha! He'll do it! I'm serious."

I avoided the tip of the bar that struck me again, and when I stuffed the time at once, I covered my body against Gallo's waist. Combine and roll to the ground. And I was successful in taking the mount position.

"Guha! I didn't know you'd jump in."

"Now you can't use the stick."

"Sweet."

Gallo, who was knocked down and held a mount position, used a stick to hang the tightening moves in reverse. He uses his bars and elbows to stop my carotid artery and strangle me. It was a clear and unpredictable attack.

"Guuuuu"

"You forget that the Berholt stream is a martial arts in action that takes over the genealogy of the swordsman Dalmos. There are a lot of moves that you can fight even if you come near a demon."

Gradually his consciousness faded, but I threw Gallo's face at him as he took the soil from the alley to escape this tightening move.

"Wow."

Successfully escaped the tightening move with a flash of clearance. And on the contrary, he turned behind Gallo and did the triangular tightening extremely.

"Apparently so. I seem to be staining my body, too."

Gallo made the give-up tap, so I'll free him from the tightening moves.

"Ho ho ho ho... Lord Norkin has lost his memory too, but his moves are staining his body..."

"Lord Gallo's arm was made sure. I definitely want you to work as a martial arts teacher in my country. Thank you for following me so I don't find out I'm losing my memory."

"Great. I'll take that story. This is the time to meet Lord Norkin's expectations."

Shake hands disappointingly with a stood up gallo. Thus, I had met new samurai in the southern lands and had succeeded in adding them to my ministry.
