Episode 367: Tower and College, Drop Off

"Nevertheless, I'm not here to pick up people from the Tower or the College today. You don't have to worry too much about it."

As Lorraine said, it's not like today is a welcome for people coming from the King's Capital.

For once, I'm an employee of the Adventurers' Union, and even though I can't say that Wolf will ever ask me to do that again, I'm not today.

Then the answer is self-evident when it comes to why you are coming all the way to the carriage station or something.

"... oh? Isn't that Mr. Lent and the others? Did you really come to see me off? I'm surprised you're surprised."

It was Niv Maris, a vampire hunt that I didn't have to tell you about, who called us that from behind.

I mean, we heard from Niv the other day that we were leaving Malt tomorrow, so there was a lot of trouble, but we came to drop him off.

Her presence in Malt made her the feather of having a pretty tense day, but at the same time she gained all sorts of knowledge, and many where she picked up her life.

Especially this vampire riot. There were definitely a lot of tough parts without Niv.

At the end of the day, Laura and Isaac may have cleaned it up, but then we'd be the only ones, albeit inferior, with wings relative to the vampire Vampire that keeps playing.

If the problem with Stamina is that they won't be able to regenerate sooner or later, and they're Malt adventurers who don't know much about it, it's likely that it turned out differently.

And if they hadn't tailored those boys and girls vampires "vampires over there, Schmini's plans would have gone much smoother.

If that happens, the city malt could even have sunk into the labyrinth.

I'm pretty sure Niv's presence was good, at least for Malt.

That's why I should probably drop her off, I thought.

I was personally made to do it, but that's it.

In the first place, you're probably right about her.

Well, it doesn't seem the same when people ask me or Lina if it's the vampire vampire itself in general.

"I'm here to drop you off, okay? You said you could come and see me off yourself.

When I told Niv that, she snorted,

"... Well, yes, because I'm not sure Mr. Lent likes me. I didn't expect you to come all the way...... did you ever fall in love with me or anything?

"No."

"You don't have to answer immediately..."

Niv with a disappointing look as to whether you're serious or joking about my answer, but you can't be really disappointed either.

He's got a personality far from romance and all that.

"... but this is how he came to me. Let me just say thank you. I thought you'd only come as far as Mullius."

Next to Niv, who said so, was Murias Liza, a Robelic Virgin.

A looking woman deserving of a Virgin with beautiful silver hair, as always, but with some fatigue on her face.

All the clerics and monks in religious communities, not just in Robelism, seemed busy here.

The soothing, healing, preaching and encouraging things of the Maltese people don't seem to be a good idea.

Still today, the work will be piling up, but do you feel that this is how you came to drop Niv off, even in quite a dear affair?

Looking at it that way, Mullias said,

"In my case, it is a duty given to me by the Archdeacon's Office. I'm not here to drop you off in the first place, I'm getting there too!

and shouted a little beautifully.

The figure is not very much, but it is not the attitude taken by the Virgin, who should be sober and quiet.

No, but I don't find it particularly uncomfortable, because this is the land of Murias.

Niv told Mullias like that,

"You don't have to, do you? Isn't that obvious surveillance in the first place? Why should I, the virtuous adventurer, be watched by the Virgin of Robbery?

"... I'm not sure about that either. Anyway, it's an order. So give it up. You don't want to be seen as heretical by Roberians either, do you?

"... man. Do as you please...... will Mr. Lent come at last? Vampire hunting trips are exciting and fun inside, aren't they?

That's what Niv asks me after some strange interaction between the two of us.

It's a vampire hunting trip...... well, it would certainly be exciting, but the danger would also be terribly high.

What a close proximity to wandering around the world looking for a place to commit suicide, aimed at something like Schmini.

Well, you should be able to defeat any one of those demons, but not yet...

Perhaps Niv can reassure me somewhat, but if it's an outside demon raid or something, I don't need to think about when I'm going to be scratched in the neck.

Rejected.

So I shake my head.

"Don't worry about it. I'm not going to be in Malt forever, either. He'll come when he sees you again someday."

... I don't want to see you as much as I can.

I swallowed the part, but it seems to be passed on to Niv.

"I'm sure destiny will make us patrol again. Looking forward to that day...... oh?

After saying less than happy words, Niv just, uh, glanced at a bunch of carriages coming in from the outside towards the carriage station.

There is a line of carriages consisting of about ten cars, all of which are united by similar designs.

It is obvious that it is quite expensive and durable to make, and the horses you are pulling are all the same.

"... Hmm, here we are at last. That's the Academy carriage..."

When Lorraine squeals like that, Niv snorts too.

"Yeah, right. The Tower should be here in time… there will be more equipment there, and it will take days to do so."

The tower is darker as a research institution, and the college is basically an educational institution.

I guess the Tower brings a lot more about specialized equipment.

What's wrong with precision magic props? They are huge and fragile and take time to transport.

Therefore, both departed from the Wang capital at about the same time, but the College got to Malt faster, so.

"But there's a lot of them nonetheless. It's rudimentary. This also has a seemingly turbulent atmosphere...... hmmm, it seems more interesting to have stayed...... no more vampires......"

Looking at a bunch of Academy carriages, it was me who was kind of getting anxious about the malt ahead because Niv squeaks an ominous dialogue.
