Episode 393: Towers and Colleges, Letters and Classes

The interior of the Eastern Catholic Church, as can be imagined from its appearance, was majestic. It's just not because it follows the doctrine of that religion, or because it feels like it's gorgeous or luxurious.

The stone statues and murals that are beautiful but have a subdued mystery of flashfulness appear there.

All took the form of events and figures written in the teachings of the Eastern Catholic Church, with the Eastern Catholic Christians praying in front of each object. In the center of such a hall, dozens of people are fitted with rows of long chairs that can sit down.

A corridor filled with purple carpets, present to be sandwiched by a long chair, extends straight towards the altar.

Behind the altar you can see stained glass, engraved there are Eastern angels worshipped by the Eastern Heavenly Church.

But even such a part was brilliant, rather than like a device that shaped a calm and quiet air, from which it seemed to extend a tranquil environment throughout this church.

"I'm not going to believe in a particular religion, but still, when I come to a place like this, I can't help but feel something conveying in silence."

Lorraine sighed and said so.

Robelism flourishes when it's an empire, but Lorraine is basically non-religious.

Even such a girlfriend would mean that it's a place that makes you feel that way, like you want to believe something for just a moment.

In fact, the protection of God and the Spirit exists, so I guess you can have a faith heart...

Whether you believe deeply or not, it can be true that protection is granted.

Me and Lorraine are both given the holy spirit, which is a delicate story when they say that if you say it in a religious way, it will mean Saints, Virgins, but you believe in the Spirit of that temple.

I appreciate it... well, it's a hard story.

"Well, I don't know. But... But I knew there was nothing wrong with coming to this place. Whatever the small church in Malt, I thought something might happen if it was also headquarters..."

When I bluff like that, Lorraine observes me closely before

"... sure, that's the same as always. Well, this is a church, but it doesn't seem to be full of holiness, and even if it were, you're an immortal manipulator of holiness. It's not so strange."

"Well. If it seemed so dangerous, I wouldn't even have thought about going in there in the first place."

When entering the church, the impression from the outside was that although it was a large and majestic building, it didn't feel bad or bad at all.

Because my body is immortal, I feared that if it was dangerous to its existence, there might be some discomfort or repellence if I approached it, but it didn't actually happen at all.

And when I tried to come in, nothing in particular happened.

If anything happens, ask Lorraine to pull it out, considering that it was the only thing that could have happened, it could have been a dangerous bet there... because I go to all kinds of religious establishments, such as the chapel in Malt's orphanage.

Though small, it wasn't that much of a bet if you think the prep exercise was already done.

"Nevertheless, just because this is okay, it can also be assumed that churches in other religious groups are out. Be very careful then."

Lorraine, yes, didn't forget to stab the nail.

Surely that is not true.

I have heard that there may be friendships between gods, and that the attenuation of their power occurs between those who believe in opposing gods, or between saints and virgins.

In other words, there is something like God chooses people for their own good and evil rather than good and evil.

It's all right in Eastern Heaven. But maybe not in other religious groups, that's what I mean.

"Right, I'll be careful... so anyway, it's a letter. Who are you gonna give it to?

When I change my story, Lorraine takes the letter out of her pocket.

It's a solid, waxed one, and it doesn't mention the address, but naturally, Lorraine hears the name of that opponent.

Because it's a request she received.

"Lord Lillian asked me to give this to the headquarters of the Eastern Catholic Kingdom of Yaran, the Elsa Monk Zheng."

"... Also addressed to a lot of great people, huh?

The rank of the Eastern Heavenly Church consists largely of the Tenth Class, with the Grand Monk Masterpiece as its culmination, the Monk Masterpiece, the Kwon Monk Masterpiece, the Grand Monk Metropolis… and so much later down. There's more to it in detail, but that's basically what it looks like.

And when it comes to Roberianism, the archdeacon, the pope or pope in other religions, is the archdeacon, so.

From there, it follows that monks and priests are in a position where it is possible to become cardinals and, in some cases, grand priests and priests.

Having direct letter interaction with someone like that was... was it great to have Lillian?

I still don't know that rank because I only named myself a monk...

Normally, when it comes to the head of a church in a city about malt, it hits third from the bottom, it should be about a big lawyer.

Well, I don't know unless you ask me all about this.

"Doesn't that mean that Eastern Catholicism isn't as tied to class as Robelicism? If I tried to send a letter to the archdeacon in Roberianism, it wouldn't be in his eyes unless it was a great feat."

It is also a tough story.

"Can't a little kid send a letter with no money?"

"No, just send it. But a lot of my men read it, and they played it... and at the end of the day, it became a very small minority in the eyes of the archdeacon. So rather, they don't play about those kids' letters? I read and replied, which would also enhance the image of Robelism. Occasionally, when I go to churches in local cities, even in empires, the archdeacon himself writes back to me."

"... I don't know. I know it's not a bad thing, but it's a bad thing..."

"The world is intelligent. Anyway, let's start with a letter... I want to give it to the monks around there and make sure it wasn't read, that it doesn't just become something"

That said, Lorraine looks around.
