Lesson 508: A Stack of Challenges and the Relationship Between Jean and Wolf

Get off the carriage and head to the Malt Adventurers' Union Guild.

On the road, I ask Jean if I'm the Guildmaster of the Malt Adventurers' Union… I mean, about Wolf.

"Speaking of which, Jean got Wolf into the position of Adventurer Union leader Guildmaster, didn't he?

That must have been the story.

Wolf was about to retire his adventurer and pull into the country at the time, but it's a famous story that it was Jean-Zebec who held him back there.

In fact, Jean nodded at my question,

"Oh, right. At the time, he was just one step ahead of the platinum class... with all those scratches on his eyes. The years are old, and I started to say it was time to retire or something. If you decide to, it's quick. You're ready in no time. Come on, you're ready to travel... I flew all the way from the king's capital and stopped. I did think the adventurer might be tough with that wound. But you have years of experience as an adventurer, and I was wondering if you could help me with that for future adventurers. Now is the time for Malt's Adventurers' Union Guild to have a pretty good reputation though. Before he became Adventurer's Guildmaster, he wasn't much different from the Adventurer's Guild around here... he was right to get him."

So smudged, I said.

It wasn't until me or Lorraine became an adventurer that Wolf became Adventurer Union leader, Alliance Master... more than ten years ago.

Around that time, there was no way to know what Malt's union of adventurers, Guild, was like, but it must have been pretty bad.

A common union of adventurers, Guild, is a big part of adventurers' self-responsibility, for better or worse.

I mean, I won't help you, but I won't take it from you.

Extremely obvious, but whoever is somewhat accustomed to it will be terrible as soon as we base this response on the rush out.

The types, areas, and methods of dismantling demons, such as rushing out, are obscure, and I don't know much about plants and other materials.

It's a huge failure to accept it because it's a simple request for the iron class, what a sight to see.

Besides, if you have to make a big mistake, you are better off, and you may even lose your life.

I don't know about leaving that situation behind, but I can also say that this was a strong tradition from a long time ago, but that was why it was in that state.

That's the adventurer's "freedom."

An adventurer is something no one can bind him to.

That's the kind of slogan-stained idea that comes first, and there are a few of us who want to interpret it enlarged and insist that we don't give orders.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's just the bottom line, that's why I'm in the Adventurers' Union Leader "Guildmaster" class as well.

That's why it's difficult to try to change that part, that kind of physique is not often found in the Adventurers' Union Guild.

However, in Malt, Wolf has taken the initiative to pay for that kind of air.

That's why we have a good ventilation, a breeze that not only runs out, but also allows us to continue to maintain our upliftment in the good sense of being a veteran to some extent.

I can make that happen, so I guess Jean promoted Wolf, and Wolf responded to that. It is splendid.

Me?

That's what I taught the basics of running out and stuff like that...

Reform of consciousness from above, what an imitation you can't possibly do.

Well, still, that's not total waste, and it's a little useful because the Adventurers' Union leader in this city, Guildmaster, is a wolf, I'm sure.

"I know a lot about adventurers like Wolfe in other cities. If you become all the Adventurers Union Leader" Guildmaster, "you'll have a lower mortality rate for rushing out, and I guess it's good to have more quality materials. Is it hard after all?

When I say that, Jean gives it back a little thought.

"... Yarlan's Adventurers' Union Guild is gradually reforming its consciousness. It will be difficult when it spreads all the way outside of Yarlan. Well, even if you reach too far, you're going to be all puffy, and you're going to have to do it little by little. Let's start with the King's Capital under my feet... it's not even easy. Lent, you know what? Wang Du's adventurers can't even tell if they're a bit of a minor herb, even if they're silver."

"A little minor...... earthly three leaves and a three leaf flower or something?

Speaking of which, Jean looked up,

"... even a herb collector would make mistakes after inquisiting in front of him. I don't blame anyone for making a mistake."

"We can all spot Marto's run."

At least the guy I taught.

With that said, Jean opened her eyes,

"Huh? Are you serious?"

"It's true. I mean, it's bad if you can't tell that one. If you eat three flowers, you'll be paralyzed. Even though the earthly leaves are luxury ingredients."

"No, I sure am..."

"If you can tell by it, you can also use Mitsuha. It's powerful enough to work on some big eyed demons, so if you extract juice and apply it to your sword, it'll be useful."

"... you're going to use the malt rush like that... assassin face loser"

Jean was frightened.

Saying it's not cool doesn't kill you, and humans can eject it relatively quickly, so if you accidentally hurt yourself with a weapon like that, you can handle it if you have company.

I've taught the runaways never to use it alone, and they'll be fine.

I've actually had that paralysis on the ground, and I'm sure you understand the dangers with you.

If we talk about that, Jean,

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

And he was squealing.

Then,

"... oh, you're here"

Jean stopped in front of one building and said so.

It is the Alliance of Adventurers building.

I figured out somehow in the course of the conversation that I had been here before, so naturally I knew immediately that this was the case.

Well, the Adventurers' Union "Guild" building is all I can see at first glance because it's largely determined to be made for use.

It's not like there's anything special about it, but I haven't seen it yet.

If we go far, maybe we'll have a chance to see it someday......

"Well, let's go in. You guys are coming too."

That's what Jean told us, so we go on.

The request is to get Jean to Wolf's, so I can't say I ended the request as an adventurer if I didn't do it that far.

It was a natural story.
