Okami Wa Nemuranai

Chapter 5.

Chapter 5.

When I woke up, I noticed that I was holding something in my right hand.

It's something with terribly powerful magic.

Lying down, he lifted it and tried.

It was a magic stone.

It's a beautiful, shining crimson magic stone, as big as Tron's magic stone.

The White Flame Wolf's magic stone, huh?

It was proof that he had defeated the White Flame Wolf.

Lekan had finally defeated that powerful enemy, a divine beast that specialized in combat.

In a slightly dazed state of consciousness, and with a deep sense of satisfaction, he put the magic stone into storage and went back to sleep.

The next time I woke up, I felt terribly hungry.

And it's cold.

Night.

When I got up, I first applied "Recovery" to both my legs.

It worked well.

He swallowed a potion to restore his magic and strength, chewed it up, and drank some water.

It was good.

The water soaked into my body, and I felt my body regaining its strength.

I applied "Recovery" to my entire body.

We gathered and burned dead branches, roasted meat, and made soup. We couldn't wait until it was ready, so we chewed on some bread as we worked.

And slowly, I ate. No matter how much I ate, it was never enough.

When she finished eating, she poured her magic into the Intuadro necklace and went to sleep.

The first thing I did when I woke up was to take my clothes out of storage and put them on. I picked up Tron's sword, which had broken off.

It was cold.

My body was chilled to the bone. I built a bonfire to keep warm.

There was no corpse of the White Flame Wolf. This meant that the only thing gained from this victory was the magic stone.

"Well, well. Let's get moving. Anyway, where are we?

After walking for a while, while maximizing the detection range of the Life Sense, they found a village.

I entered the village and spoke to the villagers and asked them where I was.

After hearing from the villagers, we learned that the village was called Tiren and that this was the domain of Baron Maud.

We had moved a long way to the northwest.

To the east was the town of Tranche, and to the northeast was the town of Ezis. From the village of Tiren, both were about the same distance, but Ezis seemed to be a little closer.

Lekan bought some food from the villagers and paid for it.

The villagers were clearly wary and afraid of him, so he gave up looking for a place to stay in the village and headed northeast into the forest.

If we continued in this direction, we would either reach Ezis or the road connecting Ezis and Tranche. There is a road connecting Ezis to the royal capital, so we can return to Mashjain from there.

As I was about to camp in the forest, I checked the area with my Life Sense and 3D Perception, and noticed that there was a place deep in the dense growth of trees where my 3D Perception could not reach.

What?

Lekan walked closer to the spot and looked at it.

There's a place where the earth has risen. It looked like a part of the mountain, but since it was surrounded by trees, he had inadvertently explored it with his 3D perception. Normally, I wouldn't try to explore in the earth, but that doesn't mean I can't. However, this place could not be explored with Lekan's 3D perception.

I can only think of one thing that would cause such a reaction.

"Flame Spear! Flame Spear! Flame Spear!

As he blew away the trees and grass in his way, the surface of the mountain began to reveal itself.

Lekan stared at it.

Then he stepped back, raised his right hand, kneaded his magic power, and chanted a spell.

"Flame Spear!

The extra-large Flame Spear struck the mountain face, crushing the rocks and blowing away the soil.

A hole appeared in the ground.

It's a labyrinth.

It's also a labyrinth.

Lekan took out a small shovel from his storage, shoveled through the dirt, and cleared the rocks.

It was definitely a labyrinth. The entrance to the labyrinth was buried under dirt and rocks.

Maybe it was an undiscovered labyrinth. If that was the case, it would naturally mean that it had not been explored.

For an adventurer like Lekan who specializes in labyrinths, stepping into an unexplored labyrinth is the most enjoyable adventure. And it's a labyrinth that no one has ever entered before. A thrill of joy wells up in me. The anticipation builds.

After a quick meal, I changed my clothes.

Fortunately, I had the armor I had received from Yufu. It's a free size armor made from the leather of the Great Flame Dragon and Dylan silver steel that can be worn in different parts. It was made almost exactly like the one Duo Baan wore, but without the Yufu Labyrinth Knights emblem. This armor was made to be presented to the royal court or given as a gift to other lords.

It's too ostentatious to wear on a daily basis, but it offers a high level of protection against both physical and magical attacks, and it allows you to move much more freely than full metal armor.

I was a bit torn about what to do with the helmet, but I put it on. The helmet would reduce his vision, but Lekan has 3D perception. I don't really like helmets, but I wanted to try one out.

He did not wear a gauntlet.

If he wore the gauntlet on his left hand, he would not be able to wear the Wolkan Shield he wore as a cuirass. I wanted to leave my right hand free so I could use my sword at will.

Hanging at his waist was the Sword of Lusk.

He placed the Vulcan Shield, which had been shrunk to the shape of a cuirass, on his left hand.

The Ring of Rosin.

Intuadro's necklace.

Dagger of Halt.

Ring of the Immortal King.

Spell of the Dark Demon.

Anklet of the White Devil.

And the guardian stone of Xana.

It's a complete set of equipment. It was too much preparation for exploring the shallow levels of the labyrinth, but since it was a completely unknown labyrinth, there was no reason not to be cautious.

The sun had already gone down and it was dark, and only the inside of the labyrinth was vaguely bright.

The sky was cloudy, but the clouds were thicker than ever at night.

A damp wind blew, and then rain began to fall in drops, and lightning flashed in the distance.

Almost as soon as Lekan stepped into the labyrinth, a downpour of rain began to fall on the mountains outside the labyrinth.
