I went by Sheila every day to practice Barriers. But there was no sign of activation. The practice of not being responsive at all and not standing up ahead was terribly tough.
If a brilliant master named Sheila had shown me a sample in front of me and coached me, and had I not known I was fit for spatial magic, I would have given up at last.
One day, Edda made a report that concerned her.
"Tomil at Mr. Tallis's got hurt when he was playing and he fell and hit his head against the stone wall. So, I healed him with Recovery, and I was wondering if it was a bad idea."
"Hmm. Well, you couldn't even pretend to know. Talk to Norma tomorrow."

I talked to Norma the next day and she got a sad reply.
