4.

Lecan and Norma went back away and into the living room.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are divided, but living rooms are shared.

Norma sat on the couch on the back, but Lecan also sat on the couch on the same side.

This is because I wanted to go forward instead of turning the back of the reception hotel.

Just because I put it on my back doesn't mean that there's an obstacle to (life sensing) or (stereoscopic perception), but sensibly, it's tighter to detect the one on the front.

"Do you drink too?"

Asked Norma as she took out the liquor and silver tumbler on the shelf.

"Oh. Let's have it."

Lecan soaked two tumblers with amber distillery.

For a while they silently enjoyed the taste and aroma of alcohol.

On the shelves, knobs such as bean treats, smoked meat, and dried fish are featured in a hobby. What Lecan ate is replenished and a new kind of knob is added. The servants of this mansion are well trained.

"I'm surprised. I never thought this would happen."

"Isn't that a desirable story for you?

"It's a dream story. I still don't know what will happen, but my father's book will be compiled as a book to stay in future generations. That will happen in any way."

"Looks like there's already a book in the temple of the king's capital."

"That was also a surprise. No way. The Marquis did that."

In this case, the Marquis refers to Godfrey Wazlov, the former Marquis of Mashajane, who was my uncle from Norma.

"He said he donated a book to the Temple of Kelles, but is that an easy thing to do?

"It's a little different for a common scholar to dedicate a book to a temple and a nobleman to"

"Ho."

"If the nobles are to dedicate themselves to the temple, the paper in the contents must also be superior, and the letters must be beautiful. I mean, it has to be at the hands of a leading pen writer."

"I see."

"The leather on the cover must be of good quality, the engraving of the letters and the gold leaves must be decent, and the binding must be decent. Well, that would be a lot of money."

"Making a book is ridiculous, too."

"Really fancy books cost amazingly much money. Besides, if the noblemen were to donate books to the temple, the donation would be accompanied by a considerable amount."

"What do you dedicate to the Temple for?"

"That's all I could do, to proclaim to the gods and thank them. Research is about uncovering the mysteries of the world. The nobility's dedication of books to the temple is also an act of showing that culture is progressing in his own territory. Because force alone doesn't show nobility."

"If I did, I'd have a nobleman to dedicate a fancy book to."

"If all the fittings are lavish and devoid of contents, you'll be ridiculed the other way around. I'm not going to stand out."

"Then your uncle recognized your father's work as informative."

"It was a surprise. I'm surprised. But what also surprised me was that the former Marquis told Master Armamir that it was written by his brother Thursday. I can't believe the Marquis clearly said that. But there's no way Master Armamir would lie. My brother?"

"What kind of brother was Godfrey to your father?"

"It wasn't my brother or anything. It was Godfrey."

"Was your father hating or annoying Godfrey?

"Huh? No. That didn't happen. Rather."

"Rather?"

"We were talking normally"

Norma's father, Thursday, is Godfrey's mother's younger brother. Had we lived in the mansion together since we were young? Probably.

Because Thursfree's mother was of low status, Godfrey could not ostensibly treat Thursfree as her brother.

But behind his cold demeanor, what sentiment did Godfrey have for his distant brother of the year?

"When your father died,"

"Huh?"

"Godfrey wrote to Zinger and said this is what he's been saying. I will take my brother's revenge, and you will protect Norma."

Norma looked sideways at Lecan. The eyes were stunned.

"You said it before. The Marquis, for example, is like a machine that protects the house and the territory, and that it is only a gear when it comes to the Marquis person. Godfrey was a machine named Marquis. But I think what your father said when he died was a human word with hot blood."

Norma just finds Lecan, as if he's lost his word.

"And Godfrey took his brother's revenge, and retrieved his wand and sent it to Zinger"

"Has this wand been taken back by the Marquis?"

"I delivered your mother's wand to you. That's how Godfrey feels about you."

"Feelings?"

"When you and your father left Mashajane and returned to Voca, the Marquis said, right? He said he couldn't take out his fortune."

"That's right. That's what the Marquis said in front of me."

"But I guess I could have brought up the book, the research results and the materials without leaving them. A wide variety of herbs and trees could also be transported. It must have cost a lot of money to carry those things this far."

"Yeah. That's what I was wondering too. It was a huge number of cars."

"Can't you think about this? It's pre construction that you can't bring up any property. I guess that's what I explained to my relatives. But Godfrey wanted me to take whatever your father needed."

"No, I don't think so."

"What was Zinger's position in the Marquis?

"He was the highest-sequenced knight. So the fact that Zinger was followed by my mother shows how heavy she was at the Marquis."

"When that mother died and you and your father were coming to this town, Zinger was followed. What's this all about?"

"I don't know. Honestly, I don't know. It's just obvious demotion from all around. That's a terrible demotion, too. I don't know about rumours inside the Marquis, but I would have thought that Zinger had made a terrible mistake or did something that would make me feel terrible about Godfrey, who became the new Marquis."

"Your mother told Zinger just before she died. I asked for a husband and a daughter."

"Eh."

"Godfrey, who found out about it, told Zinger. My brother's going back to his old town, so you need to follow and protect him."

"How could you do that? No, there's only one answer. You asked Zinger."

"This is just my guess, but maybe Zinger suffered from the official life he received from the Marquis and Godfrey's personal wishes"

"Marquis's... Personal, Wish"

"Godfrey's will resulted in a consolation payment from the Marquis to Zinger. Zinger returned the identity of a knight to the Marquis family. She laughed that she could be a nurse in the nursery with honor."

"Lecan."

"Yeah?"

"Was my father, from the former Marquis Godfrey, from my uncle, loved?"

"I think I was loved. Your father, you too."

"Me too?

"Godfrey put his most trusted knight on your father. When my father died, I ordered him to protect you. That's what Godfrey thinks."

Suddenly Norma started crying.

(Shit)

(Missed escape)

Recan doesn't have a hobby that makes a woman squint at the scene of crying. If I knew I was going to cry, I would have left the field quickly, but Norma's fast track wouldn't allow it.

(What am I supposed to do)

When Rekan couldn't do anything and was rigid, Norma brought it to Rekan.

I can't defend or dodge it.

Norma pressed her forehead against Lecan's shoulder and hugged Lecan.

A whimpering voice sounded.

Lecan, who was sealed in his arms, had nothing but to remain still.

(Yeah?)

(What's this scent?

The fragrance from Norma reminded Lekan of Jerez.

The scent of the two is very similar.

Then there are clear differences, but they are still very similar.

Norma and Jerez are the others in red.

Two of them, the others in that red, emit a very similar scent.

It's not just the scent. The perseverance, the way you stand and walk, the smile without the flair, and the femininity in the richness are amazingly similar.

A woman is a strange thing, Lekan thought.
