After all, the Spirit Book bears the shadow of Soron. When its inherent abilities are doubted, they naturally feel uncomfortable. When the abilities of the strong are questioned, they start thinking about how to prove themselves. The shadow of Lord Soron is now manifesting on these Spirit Books.

The carriage jolted as it moved forward, not lingering long at the Xili City Circus. They only bought some supplies at the Daylight Market. To be honest, Igor and Kadi have spent quite a bit of their gold coins recently; the coins they exchanged for Rum Fruit in Gaga County are now almost gone.

This is the fundamental difference between sustaining a large group and simply supporting oneself.

Previously, Igor and Kadi only needed to worry about filling their own stomachs, but now it’s different. They have to care for the lives of all the people in the Circus. Even though they aren’t the leaders, they can’t just watch Kruz worry with a frown, let alone eat while so many others go hungry. The gold coins earned from the Circus performances are too few, and if it weren’t for Igor and Kadi, Kruz’s Circus might truly struggle.

However, Igor and Kadi didn’t care about gold coins at all; they just felt that the people in the Circus shouldn’t go hungry...

Kind-hearted Igor and Kadi didn’t even realize at that moment that their actions had already moved Circus members like Kruz, who were discussing how to thank them.

Igor and Kadi had no idea. They were busy challenging the Spirit Books in the carriage.

These Spirit Books now displayed a very old-fashioned demeanor, as if they were imparting their insights to some juniors.

So, arrogance itself is such a peculiar thing. Once these Spirit Books had it, their fear of Kadi suddenly diminished, and now their discourse was unstoppable, like the wheels of a carriage...

This was thanks to Igor’s guidance. Igor’s words ignited the pride in these Spirit Books, making them desperate to prove to Igor that they weren’t utterly ignorant.

They wanted to tell Igor that the reason they previously claimed not to know much about Spirit manufacturers was out of humility!

If they truly knew so little, how could they have even mentioned the name "Spirit manufacturers"? Clearly, this was something they had researched!

But this research had not reached an in-depth level, so they couldn’t completely conclude, and many things remained in a hypothetical state.

"Lord Soron conducted many experiments but could never determine exactly what that power was."

The power mentioned by the Spirit Book referred to the Devouring Power.

They had struggled to explain to Igor exactly what a Spirit manufacturer was.

This concept differed significantly from what Igor had imagined. At least, a Spirit manufacturer was not as Igor imagined, a remnant consciousness of a predecessor...

Through the Spirit Books’ narrative, Igor finally understood what a Spirit manufacturer was.

A Spirit manufacturer wasn’t simply someone who could awaken Spirits and fuse them with something else to form a new Spirit entity.

The name "Spirit manufacturer" clearly indicated what they did — they manufactured Spirit entities.

Igor’s misunderstanding stemmed from incorrectly judging what a Spirit entity was.

He initially thought that a Spirit entity was a fusion of a Spirit with certain things in the world, forming a new entity. Now he realized that everything related to Spirits could be termed as a Spirit entity.

The essence of a Spirit is a Spirit entity, and the Spirit Book, too, is a Spirit entity. They themselves are also Spirit entities.

Therefore, a Spirit manufacturer, in reality, is not someone creating new things but a person capable of controlling Spirits!

"I’m a bit puzzled why they’re called Spirit manufacturers. Wouldn’t calling them Spirit controllers be more accurate?" Igor scratched his head, unable to comprehend.

"Right, giving such a name would be more fitting. You’ve been talking in circles, confusing controllers with manufacturers, leading to such misunderstandings. Who even came up with this name?" Kadi was also quite dissatisfied, although he finally understood some parts. After all, this Spirit manufacturer had some similarities to him.

"The name was self-appointed!" the Spirit Books responded calmly to the doubts of Kadi and Igor, though they still had a slight fear of Kadi. The pride induced by Soron’s shadow compelled them to speak to the blue-skinned fellow.

"Self-appointed?" Igor was quite surprised. He hadn’t expected Lord Soron to have already interacted with the Spirit manufacturers.

"Yes, Lord Soron obtained this information during a confrontation. It was a challenging duel for Lord Soron, but the opponent seemed to be playing..."

"Really?" Kadi found this situation interesting.

"Specifically, these Spirit manufacturers possess the power to devour spiritual power, so Lord Soron’s spiritual power could seldom be fully utilized. If not for his Physique Technique, he might not have been able to retain us..." the Spirit Book lamented. Their narrative allowed them to feel Lord Soron’s resolve and pride when facing an unknown enemy!

"Why do they call themselves Spirit manufacturers!" Igor frowned.

"Why do you think they’re actually controlling Spirits? Was that self-proclaimed too?" Kadi posed a unique question.

"Of course not!" The Spirit Books’ pride wasn’t over yet, allowing them to boldly respond to Kadi.

"Lord Soron drew this conclusion after many encounters during his continual exploration."

"Furthermore, every confrontation was vividly remembered by Lord Soron because they were life-and-death duels!"

"Regrettably, Lord Soron never truly understood what these Spirit manufacturers were about, nor did he discover any Spirit manufacturer."

"Wait a moment!" Igor suddenly noticed something, interrupting the Spirit Book’s further narrative.

"You said Lord Soron never found a single Spirit manufacturer and that this was his regret. Yet you were talking about Lord Soron’s battles with these manufacturers all along. What’s going on here! If he never found a Spirit manufacturer, then how could he have battled them? Are you messing with us!"
