Hard work pays off!

Igor and the others’ efforts finally bore some fruit this time. Thanks to Kangen’s involvement, otherwise Igor and the others would still be exhausting themselves against these soul-devourers.

Though the reason for these soul-devourers choosing a prolonged battle is unknown, Igor and Kadi did not let their guard down, constantly searching for the positions of these soul-devourers. Speeding up the attack rhythm was their own attempt.

Of course, this attempt involved Coban Kangen’s group attack skills.

Originally, Igor and Kadi only had a "wait and see, try it out" attitude towards Kangen’s skill, but the result was surprisingly effective. This soundwave attack truly forced those soul-devourers out!

These soul-devourers were waving their arms as if to drive away mosquitoes around them, clearly annoyed by the buzzing soundwave.

After all, it is so small, and when you focus on it, you find you can’t locate it.

Most people’s method of dealing with mosquito attacks is similar to what Igor and the others are doing now—group attack. Everyone chooses to smoke to death these mosquitoes...

But in the absence of smoke, most people’s instinctive reaction is to wave their hands, making those damn mosquitoes disperse.

Just like these soul-devourers now, constantly waving their hands!

Igor and Kadi exchanged smiles, feeling this was indeed bizarre.

Power hadn’t forced these creatures to expose themselves, yet the sound and illusion spelled by mosquitoes did, which was truly strange.

Igor and Kadi naturally wouldn’t miss such an opportunity; they immediately marked these soul-devourers with the technique taught by the seniors of Guru Mountain, allowing them to lock onto their opponents, preventing escape.

This skill was also one of a Hunter’s abilities.

Two soul-devourers were exposed, both dressed in black clothes and robes; such attire in the night was indeed hard to find, coupled with their unique concealment spells, making Igor and the others oblivious to any trace of them.

Now that they were exposed, as Igor said, they appeared very ugly, without a human form, making Kadi genuinely believe it’s due to their hideousness that they didn’t want to be seen.

Monsters, though odd-looking, aren’t necessarily revolting; as for these soul-devourers, it’s hard to describe them with any term other than ugly.

These ugly soul-devourers instinctively remind people of words like rot, decay, and stench.

Igor and Kadi preferred not to imagine further and directly launched an attack on these soul-devourers.

The soul-devourers reacted quickly, dodging Kadi and Igor’s attacks in no time.

Igor brandished his Meteor Sword, and lightning incessantly leaped across the blade, clearly indicating his intent to strike the soul-devourers with Thunder Sword Qi.

"Ugh! I can’t hold on! Aren’t you ready to beat them hard now?" Kangen shouted from the side. The low soundwave attack drained a lot of his strength, due to its wide range; he practically cast this skill in every direction Igor pointed, consuming plenty of Spirit Power and energy.

"Leave it to us!" Kadi gave Kangen a thumbs-up; evidently, he considered Kangen a remarkable fellow.

"Leave it to us. You hurry to the hotel!" Igor told Kangen.

"Alright, I’m counting on you!" Kangen said, then was supported by his two attendants into the hotel...

Igor wielded his Sword Qi against the soul-devourers.

At this moment, no matter how the soul-devourers hid, it was useless since Igor and Kadi had marked these creatures strongly, making escape from their search range impossible.

The soul-devourers found it bizarre how, with a slight mistake, they had been completely exposed. Their previous methods for concealing their bodies were now ineffective.

Now these soul-devourers were exhausted, dealing with Igor and Kadi’s continuous attack.

The scene made everyone inside Brass Hotel thrilled, as this kind of reversal was particularly pleasing to witness!

Kadi threw his Butterfly Blades directly; his blade seemed like an extension of himself, swiftly targeting the soul-devourers.

"Strange!" Kadi exclaimed while attacking.

"What’s strange about it!" Igor was puzzled; what was Kadi feeling uneasy about at this moment?

Everything was proceeding well, with opponents being locked, constant attacks, and control maintained.

"Why haven’t the opponents said a single word!"

"Huh?" Igor was confused.

"Typically, these soul-devourers should be quite talkative, weren’t the previous ones very chatty?" Kadi was indeed observant.

"Does it matter if they talk more or less?" Igor asked, able to chat leisurely with Kadi, indicating their current enemies didn’t pose much pressure.

"At this point, they should be shocked, asking how we found them, then astonishedly asking what we’re doing!"

"Well, what’s the point?" Igor was baffled by Kadi’s response.

"If so, I could naturally reply, saying ’I’m beating you up!’"

Igor hadn’t anticipated Kadi to relish debate with opponents.

However, Igor also felt the opponents’ silence was slightly odd!
