Bruto and Est were ready at this moment, feeling that they could only withstand this one strike.

After this strike, the entire Brass Hotel behind them would be enveloped by a layer of Spirit Defense, a protective dome formed from their last breaths.

This protective dome was the last thing they could do, for Bistal, for the entire Empire, this was all they could manage.

They hoped that after they fell into the Eternal Tranquility Realm, they would hear good news.

But who could guess what would happen at that time.

The opponent’s Spirit Power pressure was getting closer and closer, and they could not speculate what the final attack would be like.

Yet, having reached this point, they had no regrets.

For this city, they sacrificed everything, even at the cost of their lives.

"It’s an honor to fight alongside you!" Est shouted to Bruto, his whole body radiating energy, ready to unleash all his Spirit Power explosively.

"Likewise!" Bruto said with a determined gaze, also ready to make sacrifices at any time.

Just then, a streak of Sword Qi suddenly appeared in the air, interlaced with thunder, carrying a great fury.

Est and Bruto were both stunned, initially thinking the Sword Qi was coming to attack them. However, after swiftly moving, the Sword Qi collided with something.

To others, nothing seemed to happen during this collision, but in Est and Bruto’s eyes, it was a clash of two Spirit Powers.

Evidently, this Sword Qi was reinforcements!

Bistal had no sword masters!

Est and Bruto were still puzzled about the identity of these reinforcements. Who could act at this moment?

Soon, a figure emerged from the dust stirred by the Spirit Power collision.

Under the moonlight, this figure appeared tall!

The figure slowly approached Est and Bruto. Those unaware of the situation might think this was the enemy who had been lurking deep.

Est and Bruto finally figured it out—the newcomer was none other than the youth who gave them an inexplicable sense of trust!

Behind this youth, a carriage followed closely!

"That’s, that’s Lord Popovich!" someone sharp-eyed behind Est and Bruto exclaimed with surprise upon seeing the carriage.

Popovich’s appearance seemed to ignite hope, rekindling the spirits of all those who had fallen into despair!

Kadi jumped down from Popovich’s carriage!

"Seems like it’s not just one!" Kadi said to Igor.

"Hmm, you protect Lord Popovich, I’ll draw them out!"

"No problem, those two seem to be barely holding on!" Kadi pointed to Est and Bruto.

"Yes, they helped us protect Kruz!" Igor noticed Kruz lying unconscious in a small room behind Est and Bruto.

"I’ll go switch places with them then!" After speaking, Kadi jumped back onto the carriage, directing Popovich to drive it next to the Brass Hotel.

Bruto and Est never expected that they too would have a day where they’d be protected by others.

These two youths promptly ousted them, the sword-wielding youth’s steps were incredibly elusive, always easily blocking the invisible enemy attacks, while the blue-skinned fellow seemed to possess a strong aura, naturally forming a defensive wall!

"Who’d have thought, we’d become the wounded so quickly!" Bruto and Est retreated into the Brass Hotel, joining others in watching the happenings outside.

"Really unexpected, I thought we’d be done for." Est laughed heartily.

"You did excellently!" Lord Popovich reassured.

"Lord, what should we do next!" Est promptly asked Lord Popovich.

"Now, you just rest and recover here, don’t worry about other things. The Imperial Capital has entered full alert, everything will go smoothly. Leave this place to those two youths!"

"Lord, do you trust these two youths so much?" Bruto asked curiously.

"Yes, they possess a familiar feeling, like shadows of people I once saw when I was young."

Lord Popovich seemed to fall into contemplation, while outside the hotel, Igor and Kadi were fighting the unseen enemies.

"Lord, can you tell us who the enemy is?" Est and Bruto were evidently still concerned about the external enemies.

"It’s the Soul Devourer, a power that seizes everything from others!"

For Bruto and Est, this was a completely foreign concept, but unfamiliar doesn’t mean unheard of—previously they had never encountered it, but now they finally have a chance to truly experience it.

Kadi and Igor were standing vigil outside the hotel; though there were only two of them, they showed no sign of panic.

They’d fought Soul Devourers not just once or twice, they were accustomed to it long ago.

"Why do these guys always like to hide?" Kadi disdainfully asked, standing still, the blue flame on his body flickering.

"Perhaps because they look ugly; look at the Clown, the Puppet Master, they’re all hideous. They’re afraid their true faces will be ridiculed!" Igor said while slashing out several Sword Qi.

The adventurers inside the hotel were all stunned.

The adventurers could sense Igor’s Sword Qi shooting towards a certain direction through Spirit Sensing, where it caused collisions of Spirit Power, obviously indicating the Sword Qi was intentionally fired with preparation.

Amazing, the enemies that gave Est and Bruto no end of trouble were, in their eyes, merely a bunch of grotesque clowns.

Who exactly were these two youths!

The adventurers inside the hotel hadn’t yet recovered from their shock when these two youths suddenly appeared before them.

The scene again startled the adventurers!

So, no need to worry about those enemies?

"Thank you!" Igor and Kadi both bowed to Est and Bruto, evidently coming specifically to express gratitude.

But, what were the youths thanking for!

"Thank you for guarding everyone at the circus for us!" Igor and Kadi said simultaneously.

This left Est and Bruto slightly at a loss.

"Next, just watch quietly, we’ll never let those scoundrels get close here by even half a step!"

After speaking, Igor and Kadi strode forward, releasing several Spirit Attacks as they went.

Est and Bruto exchanged smiles.

Actually, they should be the ones giving thanks.

If not for Igor and Kadi’s timely arrival, they might have already been in the Eternal Tranquility Realm.

Also, it was precisely Igor who informed them of these types of enemies!
