Igor was staring blankly while sitting in the carriage.

He wasn’t quite like Kadi; he lacked Kadi’s quick adaptability. When questioned by the fiery redhead, he couldn’t come up with an answer.

The redhead’s question was very clear: you have such great power, you must be here to defeat the leader, right?

Igor found this question impossible to answer. He originally thought that this group would choose to leave after seeing the true face of the leader, but unexpectedly, they became even more frenzied.

You couldn’t blame them, though, because they joined the Circus in search of power. In their eyes, there’s never been a fixed leader; whoever is strongest can become their new leader.

In their eyes, Stanley was already a thing of the past. They didn’t yet know the Clown had also fallen. If they knew, then the Clown would also become a relic of the past...

Now, in this Circus, Igor and Kadi had become the new leaders.

Naturally, Igor didn’t allow himself to be surrounded by these people like Kadi did. He shut himself in the carriage, pondering how to confront Lord Bern next.

Kruz, however, was quite pleased. Rebuilding the Circus would be a long process. Now, these people had directly solved his immediate needs by helping tidy up the Circus. They completed these tasks admirably.

Initially, Igor didn’t understand this. He told Kruz that they were people who had turned to darkness, so how could he accept them so leniently?

Kruz shrugged. They were just trying to make a living, mutual needs perhaps. As long as they’re not doing anything egregiously wrong, why worry too much? If they step out of line, punish them harshly later.

Igor wanted to say that his idea was overly idealistic...

Unexpectedly, Kadi jumped out and thumped his chest: if these bastards dared to do anything bad, he’d be the first not to spare them.

Kadi’s roar made those followers swear up at the sky never to harm anyone, threatening that if they did, they’d be struck by thunder or roasted by fire...

This made Igor both cry and laugh, making him feel even more that he couldn’t adjust to helping people. So, he locked himself in the carriage again, letting Kadi manage on his own.

Kadi’s role was apparent, creating a quiet space for Igor to seriously make plans. Although most of the time, the plans Igor made turned out to be ineffective.

Igor learned some information from Kruz. The Circus frequently sought aid from Lord Bern. After all, the past years in the Kayne Empire weren’t very peaceful, and most were striving for sustenance. The Circus’s business wasn’t so good, and many needed to survive, so naturally, assistance was required. Lord Bern was very generous, and agreed to the Circus’s needs readily.

But at this moment, the Star Circus clearly couldn’t seek aid from Lord Bern. This was because, at this moment, the Star Circus was a well-run operation and didn’t lack funds, so this route was essentially dismissed.

"What strategy should I come up with?" Igor murmured to himself, resting his chin on his hand.

Actually, there was a perfect reason to meet Lord Bern, but Igor was unwilling to do so, feeling that if he did, he’d be using someone, which others would frown upon. Such actions felt too despicable.

This reason was actually the matter Lord Bern mentioned in his letter, which was related to the Craftsman Spirit.

The Craftsman Spirit was what Lord Bern cared about most, so using this as a reason to meet Bern would definitely gain an audience.

And now the Star Circus had an evident Craftsman Spirit, which was Kruz!

But Igor didn’t want to exploit Kruz’s special status to carry out his plan. He kept wanting to solve the issue himself. This was his flaw, always unable to let go of his pride.

Now Igor was quite troubled about how to meet Lord Bern.

Unconsciously, it was mealtime again, and the Circus’s carriage stopped once more.

This time, Kadi had all the followers driven aside, knowing Igor didn’t want to see them, so he firmly warned them: if they wanted to learn real skills, they’d better stay away, and if they got close, they’d be kicked out.

The people naturally admired Kadi greatly. Unknowingly, Kadi exuded a sense of authority, raising his image highly within the Circus.

Now Kadi didn’t need to wear a mask anymore; everyone knew he was powerful, regardless of what he looked like.

"Quite impressive, huh?" Kruz teased on the side.

"Of course, strength speaks for itself!" Kadi jokingly replied.

"Alas!" Igor sighed, obviously not on the same wavelength as Kadi and the others.

"What are you trying to convey?" Kadi asked, seeing Igor’s listless demeanor.

"Nothing, just pondering some troubling matters."

"We’re partners, right?" Kadi suddenly turned serious.

"Yes, but this matter..."

"As partners, you should share your burdens, and we’ll take them on together!"

"Uh..." Igor didn’t expect such a response from Kadi. He scratched his head, hesitant to speak.

The hidden powers behind it all always made him anxious. He feared awakening the unknown within Kadi through these powers, although Kadi didn’t seem to be changing. Such things are uncertain.

Igor knew Bern was behind the Circus, but he had no clue how to deal with Bern, not even sure how to meet him.

"Have you gone mute?" Kadi urged from the side.

"Uh, I just...just want to resolve the matters behind the Clown, but I have no direction!" Igor figured Kadi wouldn’t understand if he put it this way.

Unfortunately, he underestimated Kadi.

"Haha, isn’t it just about meeting Lord Bern? What’s there to hesitate over!"

"You have a good idea?" Igor stared at Kadi in shock.

"It’s a very simple thing, no need to be so hesitant!" Kadi nearly roared from the side.

"I don’t want to rely on the Craftsman Spirit, I don’t want to involve others..." Igor whispered.

"Isn’t it just about meeting Bern? We don’t need to be sneaky about it, we can go openly!" Kadi gave Igor a disdainful look, clearly thinking Igor was overthinking.

"Openly!"

"Of course, we just waltz in, who can stop us? The Clown has fallen, what else could they possibly have!"
