The citizens of Dressrosa looked up at the high palace, shouting with all their might, wanting Doflamingo to come out and give them an explanation.

But unfortunately... Doflamingo never answered that question from beginning to end.

At this moment, he was sitting in his room, silently staring at the Den Den Mushi that Law had given him earlier.

He had already done what was required; now he was just waiting for that brat Law to call him.

Just then, the Den Den Mushi wearing Law’s hat suddenly rang.

"Bolo bolo bolo~"

"Bolo bolo bolo~"

Hearing the Den Den Mushi’s signature ringing, the corners of Doflamingo’s mouth began to curl upward uncontrollably.

The fish... had finally taken the bait!

With a cold laugh, Doflamingo walked over to the Den Den Mushi and picked up the receiver.

Kacha—

"It’s me," Doflamingo said. "I have already resigned from the Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea."

Hearing Doflamingo’s voice, Usopp and the others immediately became tense.

"Is that Doflamingo?!" Luffy shouted loudly.

"Hey, keep your voice down!" Usopp looked at Luffy nervously and said, "He’ll hear you!"

Meiser looked at Usopp with some speechlessness and said, "Why are you so nervous?"

"Of course I’m nervous!" Usopp retorted. "That’s a Royal Seven Warlord!"

"And?" Meiser made a strange expression and said, "Do you think he wouldn’t know we’re here just because we don’t speak?"

They had pulled this stunt together with Law. Under these circumstances, how could Doflamingo possibly not know they were there?

Usopp: "..."

That was true, but he felt he had to hide at least a little bit so Doflamingo wouldn’t—

Fine, he was indeed just lying to himself.

Seeing Usopp quiet down, Meiser shook his head helplessly. This guy clearly wasn’t weak anymore, so why was his personality still the same old way?

"Hey, I’m Monkey D. Luffy!" Luffy snatched the Den Den Mushi from Law’s hand and said, "The man who will become the Pirate King!"

Hearing Luffy’s words, Usopp sighed as if resigned to fate. Well, there was no stopping this guy now.

"Hmm? This voice is..."

Hearing Luffy’s voice, Doflamingo subconsciously frowned. If he remembered correctly, this seemed to be the voice of that Straw Hat Boy.

"Doflamingo, the one bullying Tea Beard and his men along with Caesar is your guy, right!" Luffy continued, "You can have this idiot back, but if you do something like this again, I’ll blow you away too!"

"Fufufufufu~"

Hearing Luffy’s words, Doflamingo immediately started laughing. This guy was as arrogant as ever. It was like this two years ago, and it was still like this now!

"What are you laughing at?"

"Straw Hat Boy," Doflamingo sneered, "you disappeared for two years, didn’t you? What did you go off to do?"

"I’ve decided never to mention that again, so don’t think you’ll get any information out of me!"

"Fufufufufu~"

"Then forget it." Doflamingo didn’t care; he had only asked in passing. If he got information, great; if not, it didn’t matter.

Then, Doflamingo laughed and said, "Straw Hat Boy, I’ve wanted to meet you for a long time."

"Meet me?"

"Yeah~ I’ve had that thought since two years ago." The corners of Doflamingo’s mouth curled up. "It’s just a pity that after the Summit War, you all vanished."

He still remembered what the Straw Hat Boy had said during the Summit War, so... he very much wanted to kill this kid! Unfortunately, he just never had the chance.

"Why were you looking for me..."

"Hey, Luffy, don’t let him set the pace!" Usopp grabbed Luffy’s arm and said, "Otherwise, he’ll lead you by the nose!"

"You’re right!" Luffy also realized and decisively shut his mouth.

Doflamingo didn’t mind and continued, "Straw Hat Boy, I have something very interesting in my hands right now. Not only would your brother be interested in this, but you might also be extremely interested~"

"Something both Ace and I would be interested in?"

But unfortunately, Luffy couldn’t hear Law at all right now. In his eyes, there was only meat and nothing else.

"Luffy, pull yourself together, kid!" Usopp choked his neck and shouted, "Don’t be lured by his meat!"

"Meat... delicious meat~"

"Shut up!"

Realizing that words couldn’t wake Luffy up, Usopp decisively raised his hand and started slapping him. The sound was enough to make one’s scalp tingle.

Doflamingo: "..."

It seemed the people of the Straw Hat Pirates really were sick.

"It’s not meat, it’s the Diamond-Diamond Fruit," Doflamingo said expressionlessly.

But unfortunately, Luffy couldn’t hear Doflamingo’s words at all.

Meiser, however, subconsciously frowned. He really hadn’t expected Diamond Jozu’s Devil Fruit to fall into Doflamingo’s hands.

"Joker!" Law took the receiver and said coldly, "Stop the nonsense, let’s get straight to the point!"

Doflamingo was very good at playing with people, so it was better to be on guard. As for the Diamond-Diamond Fruit? He wasn’t interested.

"Fufufufufu~"

"That’s for the best." Doflamingo’s mouth curled up. "I advise you not to play any tricks either, or don’t even think about leaving alive!"

"You don’t need to tell me that," Law snorted.

Things had reached a point where neither side had any room to maneuver, so they couldn’t just leave.

"Alright, Law," Doflamingo said, "let me hear if my most important guest is safe."

Law glanced at Caesar and took out the heart, signaling the other party not to say anything extra. Then, he pointed the receiver at Caesar to let him prove he was safe.

"Joker!" Caesar said excitedly, "I’m sorry... because of me, you can’t even be one of the Royal Seven Warlords anymore. I—"

Without giving Caesar a chance to continue his nonsense, Law pulled the receiver back.

"Now you’ve heard him," Law said expressionlessly. "This guy is very energetic right now."

"Yes, I heard."

"Good then." Law said, "Eight hours from now, which is 3 PM, I will leave Caesar on the southern beach of Green Bit, the isolated island to the north of Dressrosa. After that, you can do whatever you want with him. Any further contact is out of the question!"

"Fufufufu~ You’re really quite cold." Doflamingo grinned and said, "We haven’t seen each other in a long time, I was thinking we could have a drink together—"

"Stop wasting words!" Luffy barked. "Hang up already!"

Looking at the disconnected Den Den Mushi, the smile on Doflamingo’s face immediately froze. He clearly hadn’t expected the other party to cut the connection so decisively. They really... didn’t give him any face at all.

After a cold snort, the smile reappeared on Doflamingo’s face.

"Go ahead and be smug for now," Doflamingo sneered. "Once I find you, I’ll kill every last one of you! Fufufufufu~ Fufufufufu!"

After slamming the receiver back onto the Den Den Mushi, Doflamingo stood up and walked outside. Today would be the day those brats die!

"Phew~ That was close~" Luffy, with a trace of blood on the corner of his mouth, said with difficulty, "I almost fell for his pace again."

"Then when you say that, can you get the meat out of your eyes?!" Usopp complained. Both eyes had literally turned into the shape of meat!

"Was Doflamingo really talking about meat?" Merry asked curiously.

"Definitely not," Perona said, rolling her eyes. She didn’t know what Doflamingo was talking about, but it definitely wasn’t any kind of tasty meat. After all... there was only one guy like Luffy in the whole world!

Merry thought about it; it really didn’t seem likely.

"You guys hung up a bit too fast," Sanji said with a frown.

"What’s wrong?"

"We didn’t set a limit on their numbers!" Sanji said. "What if Doflamingo brings a large group of people to the exchange site?"

Although he didn’t care much about that bastard Law, he cared about Nico Robin! Oh, right, and Usopp. These three were the ones chosen to go and exchange the hostage. If something went wrong, all three would be in danger.

"It’s fine. It doesn’t matter even if he does that," Law said calmly. "After all, in this plan, Caesar is just bait."

When the time came, even if the other party brought a group of people, it wouldn’t matter. He could easily take Robin-ya and Long-nose-ya and slip away.

"In that case, our time to destroy the factory is also very tight," Perona said. If Law only managed to stall for a very short time, they might run into Doflamingo on their end.

"And we don’t know where the factory is," Nami added. After speaking, Nami paused and looked at Law, continuing, "Don’t you have the factory’s location?"

"It seems such core information isn’t easy to get," Nami said. True, if Doflamingo’s lifeline were so easy to find, he would have been taken out long ago. After all... the New World was full of Great Pirates!

"Don’t worry, a place as big as a factory will definitely be found," Franky grinned. "Once we find it, I’ll destroy it with one Laser!"

At the end, Franky struck his signature pose again, looking like he could handle it easily, which made Law’s eyelids twitch. Even though it wasn’t the first time he’d seen it, he still wasn’t used to it.

"Torao," Luffy asked curiously, "have you actually been to that Dressro-granny?"

"Super!"

"Dressro-granny?"

At that moment, the image of an old lady wearing a dress appeared in Nico Robin’s mind, bringing a smile to her face. Luffy’s imagination was truly interesting.

"It’s Dressrosa!" Law corrected loudly.

"Oh... Dressrosa~ So, have you been there or not?"

"No," Law said stiffly. "That place is the enemy’s headquarters; how could I just walk in?"

Unless he could get the specific location of the factory, he would never take the risk. So, he didn’t know much about Dressrosa.

"Then I guess we’ll just have to see when we get there," Luffy grinned, showing his teeth. "Adventure, adventure, a big adventure~ I’m so looking forward to it, Dressrosa~"

Seeing Luffy like this, Law spoke up, "Straw Hat-ya, that isn’t a simple place, so we should—"

Before he could finish, he saw Luffy walk right past him and shout to Sanji, "Sanji, I’m hungry! What’s for breakfast today?"

"Sandwiches~" Sanji said with a smile.

"Ah! Then I want a cotton candy sandwich!" Chopper said excitedly.

"I want one too!" Little Merry also raised her hand, indicating she wanted to eat the same thing as Chopper.

"I’ll just have some black tea," Nico Robin said with a smile.

"I want cola!"

"Yo ho ho ho ho~ Then please give me a serving of milk~"

"A beef sandwich for me!"

"I’ll have a vegetable sandwich~" Hearing Nami’s request, Perona smiled and said, "Count me in."

"Although I do not know what a sandwich is, I shall have one as well."

"Understood!" Sanji said with a laugh. "Wait a moment, I’ll go make them for you."

"Oh!"

Watching the reactions of these people, Law’s expression slowly began to crumble. Then, he shouted involuntarily, "I hate sliced bread the most!"

As soon as he said it, Law’s face turned green. What on earth was he saying? Why was he being led by the nose by them? And... although it was true that he hated sliced bread, why did he shout it out so shallowly, damn it!

Witnessing Law’s reaction, Meiser couldn’t help but laugh out loud. How was Law getting more and more ridiculous?

Hearing Meiser’s laughter, Law’s face turned even greener. Why was it that after being with the Straw Hat crew, he couldn’t maintain his cool image anymore, damn it!!

Looking at that familiar heart in Law’s hand, Caesar immediately behaved himself.
