Ayra slowly nodded. "Okay then. If you say so. Let’s go," she smiled as they proceeded.

And so the two of them proceeded, moving down the tribe pathway while heading to the stream for a bath.

Ayra stood closely, keeping a close eye on Commander Lynn carrying the cub like a crate of eggs. He was being extremely careful as if nothing else mattered.

Ayra simply smiled, shaking her head as they moved.

---

"Where are we going?" Commander Lynn asked as they moved past the usual stream spot. Ayra was leading him ahead.

"To a better stream," she smiled. "I found a better spot so I’ll be going there from now," she explained.

Commander Lynn said nothing, he simply stared at Ally who was pulling onto his clothes.

They soon arrived at their destination. At the stream where the two frauds who wanted to harm Ayra had brought her to.

"Hand her over now.." Ayra smiled at him.

Commander Lynn hesitated. He had gotten used to carrying the little one in the short space of time that he was hesitant to hand her over.

He stared at the smiling cub before he slowly handed her over.

Ayra smiled. "If you want to hold the cub more, you should let me know. I’ll teach you how to carry her some more, okay?"

But Commander Lynn said nothing. He simply stood there watching as Ayra carried the cub down to the stream.

Ayra and the cub were in the water, stripped while Ayra sat the cub down on a rock and began cleaning her up gently with the water.

Commander Lynn had turned to give them some privacy while still standing.

Ayra stared at him with a smile. "Why are you looking back? It’s not like you haven’t seen me before," she teased.

Commander Lynn said nothing. He stood there like a soldier who was protecting some princess or something.

Ayra shook her head with a smile. "Silly wolf."

"Silly wolf!" Ally happily called out. "Silly wolf! Silly wolf!"

Ayra blinked at the cub, speechless. "Hey, why are you picking up only the bad words?" She said covering her mouth.

But it was already too late. Commander Lynn had already heard it and he turned to stare at them.

Ayra flashed him a smile. She could see the shock on the wolf’s face.

"The cub.. spoke..." Commander Lynn was surprised.

Ayra smiled. "Yes.. she can.. she’s learning words pretty fast and saying anything she hears so.. just ignore her.."

"Silly wolf!" Ally said aloud with a cheerful smile as she turned and stared at Commander Lynn. "Silly wolf-"

Ayra covered her mouth almost immediately while smiling, staring at Commander Lynn. "Like I said, ignore her."

---

Commander Lynn was soon sitting down on a rock while watching Ayra bathe the cub cautiously and meticulously.

"Ah! No!" Ally kicked and moved to avoid being washed down with water. But Ayra held her firmly while cleaning her up.

"No, you have to look sparkling," she expressed as she cleaned her up.

Ayra got out the soap and body wash she had gotten from the system. And she used it on the cub, cleaning her up in detail and making sure she was sparkling clean.

Commander Lynn simply stared, impressed and intrigued by the foamy item she was making use of.

Ayra stared at him. "Curious about this?" She casually asked.

Lynn said nothing but it was certain he was curious about it.

"It’s what you use to wash up so you look sparkling clean. And also smell nice," she smiled at him. "You should make use of it sometimes."

Commander Lynn shook his head. "No need."

Ayra sighed. "Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you do soon," she smiled, figuring that her soaps and stuff would be finishing soon.

Hopefully the system gives her an easy task to help her refill as soon as possible. Since her and her cub would be making use of it from now and not her alone.

She would certainly need more.

While Ayra and her cub cleaned up, Ayra casually stared up at Lynn and asked, "Do you know what the tribe lords are up to? Ash said they had something to do.. I wonder if the other tribes are causing trouble for us again."

Commander Lynn shook his head as he said, "Not that. The preparation for the celebration has already started. So everyone is working to get everything ready. They’re out to get meat."

"..."

Ayra blinked. "Meat?"

He nodded. "We need meat for the festival since you would help prepare that meat you made for us. And also since you’ll need to enjoy lots of healthy meat as well, they wanted to get the best meat from the land."

Ayra slowly nodded. "Oh, so that’s the important task at hand..." She stared at him. "But could they have asked someone else to go get it?"

"They could.. but they wanted to get the best by themselves. And it’s also a competition for them. So..." He casually shrugged.

Ayra said, shaking her head. "Okay then I guess... Strange beastmen," she shook her head.

"Strange beastmen," Ally casually repeated while playing with the water before her. "Strange beastmen.."

Ayra and Commander Lynn stared down at the cub and immediately the two of them smiled.

Commander Lynn had smiled so briefly that by the time Ayra stared at him, he had stopped smiling.

Ayra hesitated, staring at him. "You look so good when you smile, so why do you rarely smile though?" She inquired.

She could see him blush from the question. But he kept his calm, staring down without a response.

Ayra sighed. "You’re always frowning while busy with work. Boring. I think you should smile more, that way, you’ll certainly have beautiful days ahead and you’ll also look even hotter," she shook her head as she cleaned the cub.

There was silence as Commander Lynn sat there staring at her without saying anything.

And then, Ayra casually said, "And your brother..." She said, recalling what had happened with Rai a while back and how he had cried to her.
