"If they don’t have wings, then how is it possible that they all can fly?!" Kan asked, curious.

The beastmen sitting around were all curious to know the details.

Ayra smiled as she explained, "We built enormous metal birds. They’re called airplanes. Hundreds of people climb inside, sit on soft chairs, eat food, sleep, and the bird carries them above the clouds."

As she explained, everyone had their mouths open, impressed while they shook their heads.

"...Metal...bird?" One of them confirmed as Ayra nodded with a smile.

"How many beastmen pull it through the air...?" Another inquired.

"No one," Ayra shook her head.

"Then how does it fly?" Another beastman asked, surprised like the rest of them.

"It has powerful engines," Ayra tried explaining.

"...What’s an engine?" Rai scratched his hair.

She sighed. "Well that’s.... difficult to explain."

One wolf scratched his head as well and asked, "If the metal bird gets hungry... what does it eat?"

"It drinks fuel."

"So... liquid meat?"

"No."

"...Tree soup?"

"No."

"...Then what?"

Ayra blinked. She guessed these beastmen were a bit extra curious even when she didn’t know how to explain further.

But she tried as much as possible to entertain the beastmen with stories from her old world. They were busy with the stories that they didn’t notice when it had gotten late.

And they certainly didn’t know when the three tribe leaders had returned and taken a seat in the crowd. Sitting down quietly and also listening to the stories.

"Oh! Lord Zark!" Someone had finally realized and pointed out. Immediately, everyone turned and stared at the three of them, speechless.

Lord Ash sat there, staring at them. "Continue, we are also enjoying the story."

He said but the beastmen didn’t think they could anymore. So immediately they all began getting up on their feet slowly.

"Oh! I forgot to sharpen my weapon!"

"Me too!"

"I just recalled that I haven’t gotten what to eat tonight!"

"Me too!"

And like that, everyone had their excuses while they drifted off and left the area. Soon, only a few beastmen were left and they were checking on the soaps that had been made.

Lord Zark and the rest got up to their feet and approached the female who was sitting with the cub. And while Lord Ash bent down to play with the cub in Ayra’s arms, Lord Vale proceeded to say, "You should have continued your story, why stop? It was getting interesting. I wanted to know more about the tiny box everyone has there," he folded his arms.

Ayra smiled. "Well, I guess next time you don’t chase everyone off with your domineering presence," she teased as she stared down at the cub.

"Next time, make sure to tell me the full story of it. I’m curious to know and will listen all day," Vale insisted.

"Me too," Lord Zark wanted in on the conversation.

"But I thought you hated such complex stories?" Lord Vale stared at him, arms folded.

Lord Zark kept a calm expression as he said, "As long as the female is the one telling the stories, then I’m okay with it."

Ayra shook her head with a smile. She hesitated before she asked again, "How did it go? I heard you all went hunting. And it took more than a day I see."

Lord Vale nodded. "Yes. It did. And it was well..." He stared at Zark. "Rather successful."

Ayra smiled as she stared up at them. "And who ended up winning...?"

They were quiet as they all sighed. Lord Ash said, "No one. We ended up catching the same amount." He stared up at Ayra. "And this is why it’s boring to have a competition amongst us, we always end up in a tie."

Ayra smiled as she said, "That’s good then..."

"Not good. The two of them probably cheated, I should have won," Lord Zark insisted as the two of them shook their heads.

"There you go again," Vale sighed.

Lord Ash smiled as he said, "But at least we got more than enough meat needed to celebrate. And I think that’s what matters," he smiled at her. "The meat is ready so we can host the event tomorrow as soon as possible!"

Ayra smiled. "That fast already?"

"Yes. Since we’ve gotten the meat," Lord Ash nodded.

Ayra slowly nodded. "Okay then..." She stared down at Ash’s hand. She could see a bruise mark left there newly.

"That.. what happened to you...?" Ayra asked as she brushed her finger through his hand.

"Oh, this," Lord Ash shook his head. "It’s nothing much at all. It’s only some bruise from the fight. Most people always get this when they hunt, it’s common so don’t worry."

But Ayra stared at his arms, worried. "Hmmm, I’m just worried that it might get worse and all... What if you grow berserk with that?"

Ash assured with a smile. "Don’t worry, I’ll be fine."

But Ayra sighed as she said, "Let’s go back to my room. I’ll heal off the bruise so it doesn’t affect you anymore. That way I can be at ease," she explained.

Lord Ash slowly smiled while staring at her. "Oh.. is that so...?" He smiled, scratching his hair. "Well, I guess I can’t refuse such a generous offer then..."

Just then, Lord Zark and Lord Vale turned and stared down at Ayra.

"I also have some bruises..." Lord Vale casually said, running a hand through his arms. "Right here... If you look closely you can surely see them."

"..."

Lord Zark scoffed as he said, "Since I did a lot of fighting, I certainly have the most bruises here. So if the female wants to prevent anyone from going berserk soon, I should be the one to consider the most."

"..."

Lord Vale turned at him and said, "You? Most of my bruises are underneath my clothes so that’s why you can’t see them clearly. But I sure do have more than you two, so the female should clearly prioritize the most important patient, and that’s me."

Ayra and Ally sat there staring at the two of them bickering now. They blinked as they stared at each other.

Ayra stared up at them again and said, "What possessed the beastmen now?"
