In the coming few days, Ayra didn’t leave her room. She didn’t have enough strength to leave. She was laying there and recovering through rest while taking care of her little one.

But her rest didn’t mean complete rest with the whole tribe getting all enthusiastic and celebratory about her saving them and bearing their first cub! So they didn’t stop visiting anytime soon.

The elders soon returned with some soup they had urged the rabbit chief cook to make. And the rabbit chief cook had also come to deliver them.

"Don’t overthink my kindness. I’m just following the instructions of the elders and making soup.. not because I value you too much," the rabbit chief cook said, keeping his pride.

"Don’t mind the proud rabbit. He was so happy to make the soup when we told him about it!" The old fox exposed as everyone laughed. The rabbit’s cheeks flushed in denial.

"Have some soup, okay? It’s good for your health. For these coming days, don’t even work at all. Just sit and rest and we’ll get you all you need. Even food!"

And they actually did. Both the ones she needed and the ones she didn’t. Ayra found herself getting immensely pampered.

The elders kept bringing soup for her to help her nourish herself better. And they mostly insisted that she had the bitter soup right in front of her.

They smiled. "That’s more like it!" The elders smiled as soon as she was done with the soup.

The teens weren’t any different. Always rushing inside the house with their new gifts.

Rai guessed she was going to start a shiny stone business anytime soon if Rai and his mates didn’t stop pouring it in every time they came.

Soon, they began catching butterflies in transparent containers and bringing them to the little one.

"She likes it!" Kan happily said as they all smiled happily while watching the little one stretch her hands happily and actively at the little objects flying around in the container.

Soon, the butterfly was dead. And they wondered how that even happened - they literally locked it in a container without air.

"We’ll get another one tomorrow. Little sister Ally likes it," Rai announced before they left.

"..." Ayra blinked.

Ayra was spoiled by the endless gifts she couldn’t even eat them all. But these beastmen kept bringing stuff to her. Getting endless edibles and fascinating objects to her. Even though they couldn’t come in, they kept it outside her house. And it kept piling and piling up.

Some teens even came to perform for her. Singing and dancing outside for her to hear and enjoy. Ayra couldn’t help but smile while carrying the little cub in her arms, the cub was moving and smiling at the sound.

---

Ayra had told Lord Ash that the cub can’t have hard things, so off Ash went to look for something softer for her to have.

And while he left, Commander Lynn and Lord Vale stayed with Ayra. Lord Zark rarely did visit.

"What’s this again?" Ayra stared at the herbal medication he had come with this time.

"This is for the legs," Lord Vale explained as he went down on his knees before Ayra who was sitting in bed.

"Legs? For what?" She asked.

"To calm the body," he insisted as he took her legs. "So relax and let me apply it properly."

"..." Ayra couldn’t help but blink as she stared at him. Vale had been like that for long now. Always finding something mysterious to help treat her with and calm her too.

He would come with a soup, and then some strange herbs to apply on her legs and hands. And sometimes feed her.

Lord Vale said with a sigh, "I’ve already made the schedule for sleep for you and Ally. But it seems you two don’t take it seriously," he nagged. "You should sleep early so your body gets better rest. And the little one should also get some rest..."

Ayra watched him nag while he soothed her legs. She couldn’t help but smile because she was getting used to his nagging already. She couldn’t believe the almighty cold silver snake was actually this much of an attentive nagger.

"I haven’t seen the dragon around," Ayra looked around. "He doesn’t want to visit me or what?"

"Don’t mind him," he said, running his hand through her smooth legs. Lord Vale was surprised at how smooth her legs had gotten.

He had gotten addicted to rubbing his hands through her legs because the female’s legs had gotten so smooth with time. He enjoyed the feeling.

"He’s always too awkward for such occasions," Lord Vale said. "He probably doesn’t want to get his fingers bitten again because he doesn’t know how to handle cubs at all."

Ayra smiled. "That big dragon is actually scared of a cub. Interesting," she laughed.

"But he’s also a softie. Because he’s been working so hard behind the scenes. He has sent orders in the few days to secure the whole tribe with double security. And nothing dangerous can get in to threaten the little one."

"He also orders for no noise close to your house so you and the cub could have the maximum rest," Vale added with a smile, still soothing her legs.

Ayra couldn’t help but smile. "Is that so?"

"I heard he even went himself to kill a wild monster that was making loud noises at a close distance."

"..."

Ayra smiled. "I guess that’s why I didn’t hear that monster sounds anymore." She shook her head. "He’s really something."

Commander Lynn stood there staring and listening.

She smiled as she stared. "I guess he might just be as awkward as Commander Lynn."

Commander Lynn blinked. "No I’m not.. I’m fine," he said clearing his throat.

Ayra smiled. "Said the person who can’t even carry the little one yet."

"..." Commander Lynn stared at the cub laying there and muttering cheerful words. He said nothing.

Ayra smiled. "Don’t worry, take your time."

She smiled as her system beeped.
