Only with Your Heart

The Castle of Stone - 2

"Dear Chizuru?

Alde has spoken modestly to Chizuru, who was staring at Ruklov's back as he walked away, but was unable to respond properly.

My head turns bright white and my feet become unstable.

Even if Luklov has a mistress, that's natural, and even Chizuru shouldn't have the right to be hurt like this. But now Chizuru was hurt, and it was difficult to return a loving smile, no matter how familiar he used to be, to Alde, who might love Lucrov.

"Dear Chizuru, I'll show you to your room. Oh, there's so many things I want to talk to you about, I wonder where to start."

Led by Alde, Chizuru began walking in the castle about her in a rather relieved state.

The castle of Ruklov was also quite spacious inside, and without guidance it was likely that he would easily get lost. But Arde seems to be familiar with the neighborhood until he was in the midst of the castle, and he spearheaded a thousand cranes while adding this and explanations.

Through the corridor, up the long stairs, and coming in front of one of the beautiful iron-decorated doors upstairs, Alde smiled and said, "Here it is."

"Here?"

"This is Master Chizuru's room. We already have most of the stuff. Come on, please, open it."

For a moment, though hesitant, Chizuru slowly advanced forward and pushed the door.

And I took a breath.

The small room, which jumped into view, had a wooden four-pillar bed with a cloth hanging in elaborate embroidery, a carpet as vibrant and beautiful as it looked, with a range of skilled conditioning, with a clean herbal-like scent. Although the size of the room is not a big deal, I don't think it's just a room...... I felt like special air was in this space.

Chizuru, who entered the room only a few steps, looked back at Alde standing with a good smile outside the door.

"Did you like it?

Chizuru could only nod.

I was just wondering if I was going to be thrown into some lonely room away, so much so that I still don't get the feeling. The small toilet next to the bed is even decorated with flowers and a soft sun is inserted through a small window that seems to be for lighting.

Alde, who does not break his smile, also slowly entered the room.

"I've been taking care of this room the whole time. Always keep it clean every day with a word from Mr. Ruklov…"

That being said, Alde narrowed his eyes emotionally.

"Was this Alde's room?

"No way," Alde laughed out loud. "Someone has never stayed here yet. Four years ago, after the king offered me this castle, Lady Ruklov made me prepare this room, and I have been entrusted with its administration ever since."

I can hardly understand why.

Leaving such a beautiful room unattended all the time was a rucrof-like way of putting emphasis on efficiency. Besides, this is the second floor of the main tower, where we think there will be important rooms. Maybe Luklov's own room is not that far away either.

Alde stood in front of the thousand cranes and stared down at the original mistress of the tempted face.

In the past, Alde was smaller and more idle than Chizuru, but now Alde is taller than a few centimeters taller, richer and fuller in shape.

"Master Ruklov said not to say anything extra..."

After checking to see if there was anyone around, Alde continued.

"Master Ruklov has never made a public statement about what this room is for. Managing, even to me. I don't doubt the new servants, who don't know what's going on, will one day greet your wife, but I do."

Alde's voice, full of confidence and certainty, was whispered softly in Chizuru's ear.

"Master Ruklov was waiting for Master Chizuru... I'm sure"

Chizuru was stuck in words and pulled his lips together.

Alde doesn't know yet. That Luklov has already declared that he does not love Chizuru and that it is only from his duty as a knight to hide Chizuru.

"Alde is not Ruklov's... mistress, is he?

Though this suspicion, which had been swirling in his chest until now, had already faded to the flamboyant tone of Alde, who is whined, Chizuru asked once and for all. Alde opened his eyes properly, and laughed out loud.

"No way! Dear Chizuru, I am already married. I have one daughter."

According to her explanations that follow, Alde has served Luklov for a long time, but until he settled in this castle he had barely ever returned to his mansion. In the meantime, Alde fell in love and married one of his servants, giving him one daughter, who will be six this year, and in this castle he was given a room in the compartment where his servant is staying, where he lives three members of his family.

"For a long time, rumors had stuck around that weren't good for Master Ruklov. Did you know?

"Yeah...... I heard about the assassins, the king's men."

"We're just servants, so we just serve in silence. I don't know anything about the truth. As I just said, until we settled in this castle, Master Ruklov hardly ever went home. But Master Ruklov, the ruler of the area, is very calm and loved by the people. You've seen Castle Town, right?

Chizuru nodded as he remembered the faces of the townspeople who were greeting Luklov brightly, but with respect.

The same goes for the servants in the castle.

Very, I gather so much respect that I can't imagine how they think I'm a black assassin or that I'm at the mercy of a king who's crazy about gold and women.

"You shouldn't tell me any more... from my mouth or anything. Ask Mr. Ruklov directly."

"If you get a chance to talk, though. He's gone somewhere already, and he's probably not going to see me any more."

"Well."

Alde raised his voice. "You didn't explain it yet"

And the blonde servant smiled with a grin, showing with his hand the inner door of an elongated tree in the corner of the room.

"The door over there, that one, leads to Master Ruklov's room. It doesn't even have a key."

Uh, and when I was about to leak my voice, I heard a manly cough coming from the entrance to the room, and the two women looked back.

"Luklov......"

Luklov, still wearing a clamshell, is leaning against the stone frame at the entrance and putting his arms together as he drifts his cold gaze to the thousand cranes. The expression was gloomy, and I felt even sad somewhere, and Chizuru stood up and saw it in his shadowy face.

"You can back off now, Alde. When dinner's ready, come and get Chizul."

At the behest of his lord, who was told quietly, Alde bowed his head and obeyed.

Then again, and when he leaves, he groans at Chizuru and leaves the door intact. The room, where Ruklov and Chizuru were alone, was immediately engulfed in silence.
