Ore no Isekai Shimai ga Jichou Shinai!

Episode 4-1 The Pope's Evil

Between glances, Sophia suddenly threw the Pope away. The surroundings become noisy about it. And naturally, the Kingsguard knights surround me and Sophia.

I thought it would be a battle, but His Majesty the Emperor stopped me on the brink. But I just stopped the immediate battle, and His Majesty's expression is hard on the assault between the eyes.

"... Count Lyon, what the hell is this all about?

"Uh... I'm not sure either.... Sophia?

I look at Sophia for an explanation. Sophia was restraining the back of a flipped pope by stepping on every arm she twisted up.

"Brother Lion, it's this guy."

"Yeah... what?

"The one who forced the investigation team in Liselheim to kidnap Mr. Mu and Mr. Salia and kill all the inhabitants of the village of Ayashi. And it's not just about measuring Liselheim's technical skills."

"Right..."

My liver got cold suddenly moving into action in this situation, but I'm convinced to ask why. Instead, you could say you grew up, even if you just didn't suddenly slit your neck.

That's about as much anger as I am.

To be honest, I just want to say that since we made the alliance... that's not Sophia I don't get. Still, I probably threw it away on this occasion because it needs to be handled as quickly as possible.

So I turned to His Majesty the Emperor for one cough with Cohon.

"I'm afraid I do. This man is the mastermind who laid his hands on our people."

"I put my hands on the people...... is that about the act I did to investigate Liselheim?

His Majesty the Emperor gave a sinister look.

That too, according to what Olivia told me, is that the hardliners insisted on investigating Liselheim's technical abilities and His Majesty the Emperor admitted, albeit reluctantly.

As its main culprit, I can see how troublesome it would be to oppress Pope Linus.

But...

"Sophia said there seemed to be another purpose."

"Another purpose, you say? Your Holiness, are we talking sincerely?

"I'm not kidding. Isn't that such bullshit, decided to lie!

"Ugh... yeah, I guess so"

His Majesty agrees with the Pope, whilst clouding his words, who complains while being trampled by Sophia.

The words of Sophia, who suddenly rumbled out, and of the Pope, who is the victim. Both His Majesty the Emperor and the people around him seem to believe in the Pope.

But - Sophia has the benefit of reading her mind.

"... there's a hidden door in your uncle's mansion that leads to the basement, right? And in the basement, in addition to the elves captured in Liselheim, you're locking up slaves collected by illegal means."

"Hey, what's going on!?

Obviously upset. I guess I figured that out. The ambient air changed only slightly. And naturally, Sofia's attacks will not stop to this extent.

"It's no use deceiving me. Mr. Mu... he couldn't get it because Olivia took it from him, but Salia the Elf had a nigga saying he got it, right? You're grabbing other destroyed village daughters, and faithful girls, falling into debt with their parents, buying them out as slaves, right?

"... de, bullshit!

"It's not bullshit. As my uncle predicted in his mind, Sophia can read the human mind. So it's useless to say how much you've lost."

"Ku, ko, this... eh. Emperor, everything this girl says is paranoid. Pull and capture me now!

The Pope absurds his voice, but unlike earlier, His Majesty the Emperor did not nod. And instead, His Majesty the Emperor turned his gaze to Olivia, who would refrain by his side.

I guess it means checking the facts with Anya's grace. With an understanding of its intentions, Olivia turns her gaze to Anya - everyone's gaze gathers to Anya.

"... her words are true. At least you can't feel a lie in my grace."

The words became noisy during the sight.

I can't help it. Kidnapping a person in Liselheim is itself an excuse to say it was necessary to gather information, but the Pope is totally out of it to enslave the faithful or something.

"- Quiet!"

His Majesty the Emperor shouts. Shortly afterwards, the blurring disappeared as the waves drew, and silence came between the sights.

"Oh, my God, did I say Sophia? I want to hear from him, so will you hand him over?

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Sophia answered without hesitation, releasing Pope Linus, who was crushed under his feet. Handed it over to one of the Kingsguard knights that was surrounding us. That's how they come back to me.

"Eh heh, sorry to surprise you, huh?

"No, well... that's good"

In the first place, I was surprised because I didn't believe in Sophia. Reflect that no matter how incredible the behavior, we should have expected Sofia's behavior to make sense.

But now more than that - I moved my gaze to Pope Linus and His Majesty the Emperor.

"... Pope Linus. Anya says what she said earlier is true, but is there anything you'd like to say?

"... of course there is. Lord Anya's words are not always true."

"Hmm? Does His Holiness say that knights serving my daughter are lying?

"Afraid. It is a well-known fact that you, the moderates, want to smoke the voice of our Ferminal Church. Isn't there a good reason to fall for me?

"It's..."

He looks like His Majesty the Emperor has scuffed a bitter worm.

His Majesty the Emperor himself will understand that the Pope's words are entrusted to him. But if it's a pretty convincing word - the hardliners who originally supported the Pope will believe it.

Again, the blurring spread during the glance.

But...

"If that's the case, why don't you search the Mansion of His Holiness Pope Linus?

A word was uttered that would be a chase for us. And I'm surprised that that word is one of the hardliners - General Kent, who has had experience with us.

"General Kent, you betray me!?

"This means something different. I'm the same hard-line man as the Pope, but I'm not tolerating illegal acts against this country, am I?

"With you, I thought you were in favor of Liselheim's investigation!

"I just agreed to Liselheim's investigation."

"You, for good, want to do such a thing! In the first place, you..."

"That's good enough. Shut the fuck up! And keep it locked up in your room until you can confirm the facts."

In the voice of General Kent, the Kingsguard knight closes Pope Linus and seals his mouth. That's how I took him to resist.

"I greet His Majesty the Emperor. I would like to have Pope Linus' mansion examined as soon as possible, how about?

"Hmm... right. We need to check the facts, and if our daughters are actually incarcerated, we need to get them out right away."

"Thank you. And I need another favor. I'd like to use her help in the search for the mansion..."

Of course that means Sophia. He said something about a hidden room, so I think that's the guide. His Majesty the Emperor, who heard the story, looked at me, "Right......"

"Count Lyon, how about it?

"Of course you can. I was just going to ask you to do this because it looks like some of the people being captured have the elves I'm looking for."

"... Hmm. If that's the case, let Count Lyon direct the mansion exploration. I don't know if I can find the elf Count Lyon is looking for, but that would be more convincing."

"Yes, sir."

There's got to be a little more time before Liz and the others arrive, and which way, in this situation, we're not nearly to sign an alliance. So I don't mind exploring Pope Linus' mansion.

I don't mind... General Kent is a tough guy, and if you say so, he's not supposed to think of us well. And yet, I'm a little concerned about the behavior of taking sides with us.

Too much thought...... is it?
