Ore no Isekai Shimai ga Jichou Shinai!

Episode 4-3 General's Reckless Attempts

There were about ten slave daughters in total who had been captured. Each was to finish a brief situational hearing and, for the time being, protect it at Olivia's mansion.

Just in case the hardliners think about the possibility of being targeted in an evidentiary obscure sense.

By the way, if they had engraved Slave Tied Tattoo Sorcery, it would have been a struggle just to get everyone out of the mansion... Viola had just engraved a tattoo to seal the sorcery, and no one had engraved a tattoo to tie the action.

The reason is... probably because the tattoo magic that binds the slaves will not be able to scratch my husband.

I mean, there's an early story… well, I guess because Pope Linus' purpose wasn't to hurt the girl, but to be hurt by the girl.

Regardless of the fact that we didn't want to know, after leaving the girls at Olivia's mansion, we returned to the palace again.

"Thank you, Count Lyon. Apparently, it was true that my daughters were imprisoned."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure the elf daughter was unfairly enslaved, and there's a lot of evidence out there about other slaves."

"Really... and what's the proof of that?

"Yep. Take a look at this"

I kept it from the Kingsguard knight, who gave me a plan to fit the viola.

"I see. It does seem Pope Linus is involved - and wait. This sender for sure?!?

"I can't confirm it, but the Kingsguard says the engraving is real"

"Uhm. I have to confirm this. Somebody..."

His Majesty the Emperor ordered the Kingsguards to convene the high officials. In order to find out the facts in front of it, he summoned the person who was supposed to be the sender. Not long ago.

"May I call you, Your Majesty?"

Top of the military department. General Kent showed up with about twenty of his men's knights.

"Oh. There's nothing else I've called for. A search of Pope Linus' mansion revealed physical evidence that he had been loaded with Pope Linus. I want to know its authenticity."

- Yes. It was General Kent who sent the letter to Pope Linus. In other words, to say that he is Teng Himself, who tricked Viola's parents into paying the debt.

To tell the truth, I couldn't believe it a bit.

He is the same hard-line person as Pope Linus, and it is not strange to be connected. But it was General Kent who advised us to search Pope Linus' mansion.

Yet we find physical evidence from that mansion that General Kent carried the burden of evil.

It's possible that I assumed there was no evidence that would lead to me, but anything is too crude. That's why...

"I did, indeed, cooperate with Pope Linus. I've been consulted about the desire to enslave my daughter, who shows her one scale as the Virgin."

General Kent confesses his sins lightly. I was just anticipating the development. So I pulled Sophia on my knees next door, listening silently to the interaction between the two of them.

"- So you're saying it's a fact? Are you saying that the head of the military, Otsushi, tricked a citizen into paying his debts, enslaved his daughter and sold her to Pope Linus?

"Exactly."

General Kent affirmed again, and the high-ranking officials became noisy.

"... stupid. You can't forgive me for this one time. General Kent, stripping you of your position. Be cautious at home until Shannon comes down"

"Do you think you can do that and be safe, Your Majesty?"

"... what are you thinking?

His Majesty the Emperor gave a harrowing look.

Earlier searches drove out many of the Kingsguard knights belonging to the moderates. Of course there are still Kingsguard knights under His Majesty the Emperor, but a few.

In contrast, General Kent has about twenty men with him.

"... are you going to start a revolt?

Olivia shrugs in horror at the enquiry of His Majesty the Emperor, and the Kingsguard knights have a harsh look on their face. But - General Kent leaked a smile.

"We will not do that. Even if I look like this, I love the Empire."

"So what do you mean?

"It's an easy thing. If you strip the General of his status from me, there will be confusion in the military. Now that the war against Liselheim has begun, you can't choose such a fool, can you?

"... that it's a war with Liselheim? What did you say?"

His Majesty the Emperor's eyes open to surprise. And look at me with such tricks as fear.

"... that being said, Count Lyon. Weren't you able to bring Princess Lieselotte?

"I was planning on doing that, because you contacted me asking me to come to the castle in a hurry"

"... I have not sent out such a communication. No way..."

"As His Majesty the Emperor expected, I put it out. To keep him away from Princess Lieselotte. It will be time for my men to bring home reports of the murder of Princess Lieselotte."

Hearing it solved all the mysteries. Why did you wait all day to see me, even though I was called in as a hurry? That was because it was not His Majesty the Emperor who sent out the letter.

And General Kent advanced his search for Pope Linus' mansion because he wanted to buy time to raid Liz.

Everything was exactly what General Kent had in mind. - Not so far.

"Count Lyon, everything is as you asked. I'll have the rescue unit on its way right away... but maybe we won't make it. I'd like to avoid war if I could..."

"If Liz had been killed... war would be inevitable. Because she is drowned by her parents, brothers and the people."

"Right..."

Queen to His Majesty the King. And to His Royal Highness Alberto, Her Highness Princess Noel. At the end of the day, she is drowned by the people. If she were to be killed like that, she would seek a corresponding redemption.

And the Zaccanian Empire, in financial difficulty, cannot respond to it. The hardliners, too, will complain of this fortune and war. That way, the war will surely begin.

But that's...

"If Liz had really been killed, though,"

"Count Lyon says Princess Liezelotte is safe?

"I'm accompanying Alice. I think you'll be fine if the heavens and the earth flip over."

"- Ha, that's a pleasant thing. I do confirm that a few escorts are accompanied, but a few at best. Not to my elite troops."

General Kent breaks in. It's a bruised tone... probably because you think I haven't seen reality.

"Troops hey...... let me ask you something for once, how many what?

"Pfft. Listen and be surprised. Just in case, two detachments. I turned about twenty people around. So, there's no way the princess is safe or anything!

General Kent shouts out loud. At that moment, there are those who have blown out. By the way, it's not me or Sophia. It is Olivia, who had refrained behind the diagonal of His Majesty the Emperor.

"Princess Olivia, what's wrong?

"Because you are too stupid. With only twenty people, you think you can do something about Mr. Alice? Even if she was ten times that, she would kill instantly."

No, I just don't think two hundred people can do that, do you?

... maybe, I'm sure, instant kill.

"- Ha, is it a worldly myth to wonder what to say?... With that said, I hear your knight defeated them. It's pathetic."

"Yes. Ten of my prized knights were wiped out in seconds."

I guess General Kent meant to provoke it.

But Olivia replied softly by the time she was satisfied. I guess I felt creepy about that attitude. General Kent gives me a look that only takes a little while.

- Shortly afterwards, a low ground sounded, underfoot just a little shaken.

Everyone reacts to it. But that fitted right in just for a moment. So everyone doesn't care more than that and resumes the conversation.

"Are ten people instantly killed? If that's true, that's quite a surprise. But that would also be the power of Count Lyon. It's nothing more threatening than having him here."

"You don't understand. Indeed, Master Lion and Mr. Sophia there are also amazing fighters... but that doesn't replace Mr. Alice either. My Zaccanian Empire will perish overnight if Lord Lion gives the order."

"What a fool -"

General Kent couldn't say until the end. The ground sounds again. This time without fitting in, because something broke apart in the distance.

And that sound won't stop ringing for long. Something went wrong and everyone made a scene - not so much, and one soldier jumped in between his eyes.

"I'll report you! The walls suddenly began to collapse!

"The walls have collapsed? What the hell is causing this?

"I don't know, it just sounds like the walls started to collapse right after that"

The walls have collapsed for unknown reasons and continue to collapse. Upon hearing the report, I accidentally turned my gaze to Sofia.

"... what do you think?

"If it's Sophia, I'll do it"

"Oh, really..."

Of course, Sofia can't destroy the walls. So what we're going to do now is we're going to retaliate if our people do us harm.

And... I don't have the basis to deny that word.

I can't think of an exact way to destroy the walls... but if you don't know, the other one. Now the knight jumped in.

And he kneels before General Kent.

"You were... a surveillance officer for the Raid Squad. You came to report the assassination of the princess?

"That's it, the twenty men under attack have been devastated!

"Hey, what?!? So, did the assassination itself succeed?

"Yes, no, the subjects, starting with Princess Lieselotte, are intact"

"Stupid!?

General Kent screams that he can't believe it.

I exhale. I thought Alice would be fine, but she still seemed worried somewhere in her mind.

"I'm sorry. Mission is a failure."

"You fool! With just a few escorts, what a loser!

"Well, that's, uh, what do you say..."

"Oh, my God, speak clearly"

"Our allies were wiped out by the blow of the Elf's daughter who was with us."

"Yes, a blow? It's just a blow, how do we wipe out all the surrounding humans!?

"What do you call that... someone with no common sense? Yes, no, more than that, now is not the time!

"Something more problematic than failing to assassinate! We're done here!?

"Yes, no, I was captured by that elf's daughter until earlier. I was entrusted with a message from Princess Lieselotte in front of the castle, and I was freed."

"............ what? And he was captured? No, more than that, what kind of stuff is a message?

There are slight expectations in General Kent's face.

Perhaps he's mad at the fact that Liz was raided and expects to declare war on the Zaccanian Empire.

And - that was, in a way, what General Kent expected. The knight faces nervously and mouths the message he has deposited.

"I will preach the words of Princess Lieselotte. 'Rion, give your brother back immediately. Otherwise, I'm gonna smash this castle right now, right? Let's start with the walls.'"

... Apparently, Liz is a crown, not just Alice.

This country...... are you okay? Oh, my God, I worry about being out of place. Shortly afterwards, the Zaccanian flag, which was shaken by vibrations that could not fit, fell - badly.
