Ore no Ongaeshi: High Spec Murazukuri (LN)

Episode 100: Take the streets from antiquity west

The morning came when we got company in the city of Orn where we stopped and we traveled to the Holy City.

At the castle gate west of Orn, the Uld wagon convoy is making a final confirmation.

"Yamato, everyone else, take care on the road."

"Oh. I asked for that letter, Isis"

"Yes, I will deliver responsibly"

I had several letters entrusted to Isis, the Taishou surrogate who dropped me off. With the distribution power of the trading city of Orn, it will surely reach the other party.

"I'll be ready, Master Yamato, so that even Orn can handle the ad hoc"

"It's not going to be a rough thing in the Sacred Capital...... help me, Isis"

I can't imagine what difficulties await me in the Sacred Capital I'm headed to.

So I was simulating a few patterns and working out what to do about them.

I would not have used this letter if I could, so to speak, “insurance”.

Yamato, we're ready to go.

"Okay, Mr. Riesha"

When I check with Isis, I get a report like that.

It's time to leave now.

"All right, then we're leaving."

This is how we left the city of Orn for the capital of the Holy Kingdom of Romanus in the west, the Holy City.

A few days have passed since I left the city of Orn.

The wagon carriers were even heading west on the streets stretching east and west through the continent.

The horseback riding squad of Han children is unfolding forward, backward, left, and right around the carriage, as usual.

The leading carriage included me and the village chief's granddaughter, Risha, and the crown princess, Sildria. The second one features a player rack and Elsa, a seller woman. The rear-end special carriage carries the old blacksmith Gaton.

Children of the Urd and Suzak people were dispersed in the carriage.

Besides, Leanhardt's horseback riding has been added this time, making it an overly complete formation. Rather, it can't be in the trading corps, it could be an excessive group of fighters.

"Still, this street is really handy!

"Yes, yes, you can go anywhere!

"It doesn't shake much, and it's very different from country roads!

The children of the village riding in the carriage are chatting in their spare time.

Two years later, the body has grown, but these spiritual parts are still young.

Still, I have not failed to be vigilant and I have not let go of the Uld-style crossbow (crossbow) at hand.

"Speaking of which, who made this street?

"Speaking of which! Guess who?

"Hmm, the street? This was built by the ancient Super Empire."

It is the princess Sildria, who rides the same carriage, who is dealing with such children.

Born as the Imperial Princess of the Hizan Empire, she was tapped into imperialism and had a deep insight into history.

"The super empire had a much further civilization than it is now, uniting the continent."

"Uh, a civilization that's progressed further than it is now?

"Wow!"

As Sildria speaks, this continent boasted a great power called the Super Empire.

All languages, currencies and religions were united in those days, and they are still used in this day and age.

Streets were also built on the continent, cities were built everywhere and water and sewerage was complete.

Incidentally, the trading cities of Orn and Teito are also said to be places where ancient cities were originally located. The excellent facilities of that era, while being repaired, are still being utilized among the citizens.

"Heh,“ heh heh heh heh heh heh ". Wow!

"Hey, come on, thanks!

The kids are nodding yeah, listening to Sildria. The old story of the super empire, which is often heard in urban areas, is also unusual for the people of Urd on the periphery.

(Super Empire... sure, that's a lot...)

I was also listening to the chatter as I manipulated the horse on your stand.

The first time I heard about the super empire came from Gaton, an old blacksmith in the village. He had also heard in detail since then from Lenhardt and Isis, the knights of Orn.

As far as content is concerned, there is no significant difference from what Syldria is talking about right now.

Those who live on this continent were reusing their former civilisations as normal. That is a precedent in Europe and elsewhere in the history of the planet, and it is not unusual.

(But the ruins of that tree sea...)

When I visited Imperial City last fall, I saw the ruins of the Tree Sea.

The goal is to rescue the Great Swordsman Bales and the Survey Corps from the herd of spiritual beasts. I was concerned about the heterogeneity of the ruins I saw at that time.

(That's too another dimension...)

A small tower, especially in the heart of the ruins, was heterogeneous. At any rate, I didn't even see the material.

In modern Japan, I can't discern even when I see a wide variety of materials. It was like stone, it was like plywood, it was a mysterious ruin that didn't even scratch.

("Tower of the Four Ways God," that boy called...)

The boy, the spiritual beast administrator (Laiju Master), called the tower that. And he said it was meant to "start the tower”.

There is still too little information on this to be all hypothetical and speculative.

But sometimes it's clear.

It's the ruins of the super empire have some “power”. And that boy means he has the knowledge to activate it.

(We need to be careful anyway...)

Only the old blacksmith Gaton is talking about this guess so far. I have not yet spoken to Riesha or Isis so as not to cause anxiety.

(Assuming you're on the lookout, and then there's the prince Loki...)

As for the ruins and the super empire, there were also signs that the emperor's prince Loki knew something.

The ruins are top-secret matters in the country, which I haven't spoken of. But if you look at where I was entrusting a fact-finding mission to my best friend Barez, you can be sure of this assumption.

As a clan of emperors, you may also have confidential information about the super empire.

With the last Giant Dragon Agni crusade, Prince Loki sees himself as a man he can trust. But Loki, whose head is too pretty, can't be alarmed.

(To that end, I also wrote a letter to Loki... Hmm?

It was when I was thinking about it.

I notice someone's gaze.

"Brother Yamato, you looked like your usual hard face again!

"Yes, yes!

"More than usual, you had a wrinkle between your eyebrows and a difficult face!

It was the gaze of all the children, who were in the carriage together. Soon he stops chatting and peeks into my face.

"This, guys. Yamato is an important thinker. Don't interrupt me."

"Bye, it's Risha. The look on his face is still wrinkly."

"Until Lord Sildria, no... but wrinkles are troublesome..."

"I don't know."

Plus, I'll even join the princess Sildria.

Further, the topic spreads to the rear carriage, where the squad is wrapped in laughter and cheer. Until then when it comes to relaxation, it is sometimes necessary to breathe in this way during long journeys.

(Oh man... that's so busy...)

I don't pay any particular attention. However, the wrinkles between the eyebrows are a little disturbing.

With such a warm atmosphere, the wagon carriers continue further down the street.

"Hey, it's sundown. We're gonna camp by that street."

Along the great streets of this continent, accommodation towns flourished at equal intervals.

Trading merchants and pilgrims pay to stay safely.

But our wagon carriage was moving fast with the hammer pulling.

For that reason, the timing is off from Inn Town, and sometimes the sun goes down. In that case, camp along the streets and reveal the night.

"Yay! Camp, camp!

"We have to put the fire down!

With hunting and trading in the village, children are used to it and have no problems. Rather, this is often how it thrives.

(Especially since there doesn't seem to be any danger around...)

Check the surrounding terrain of the camp.

There will be no signs of dangerous beasts or bandits, and the night will be safe.

(What, this feeling...)

But I felt an indescribable “gaze”.

Even though there is no one around, there are signs of being watched.

But no matter how much you explore, you won't find who the discomfort is.

(Maybe it's my fault. Then I can't help thinking about it......)

Along the streets, where the sun began to set, we prepared for the camp.
