Actually, throughout all these years, Euphilia has always had one question, and that is why the person most compatible with her bloodline turned out to be Adam, a mere mortal.

Heh, trivial emotions only delay her grand ambitions; she has many matters to handle for the great renaissance of the Yemengade Clan, and she absolutely doesn’t have the idle time for such trivial curiosities.

However, now it seems she finally found the answer to this question.

"So Adam, that guy, is the successor of the Brave? No wonder he’s so special."

Euphilia suddenly realizes in her heart.

As the Dragon Queen, her understanding of the Brave far surpasses that of the little witches, and being the Great Judge of the Judgment Court, she can discern secrets unknown to ordinary people.

According to what she knows, the legacy of this special profession of the Brave is quite ancient, even older than the history of the Witch Clan; tales of the Brave have been circulated in the Western Universe long before the appearance of the Witch Clan.

The exact origin of the first Brave, by now, is a mystery beyond investigation; anyway, based on the histories of Angel, Demon, and Great Dragon, these old Golden Race entities, they have fought against the so-called Brave long ago.

After all, the most classic images of the Brave include the Blasphemer, Demon Hunter, Dragon Slayer, and so forth.

The old three calamities did think of wholly annihilating this annoying group of Braves, but after trying, they despairingly found that those Braves were just like weeds in the ground; once a batch was killed, not long after, a new batch would sprout up, even when they furiously resorted to destructive magic, they’d still encounter them again in other worlds.

Their spread was more potent than a plague, even the three great calamities could not readily understand how this group managed to pass down their legacy.

But now, the calamities have gained some understanding of this adversarial profession of the Brave, but this understanding instead causes despair.

They found that the profession of the Brave seemed rooted in the bloodline of humanity, as long as the human race exists, this profession of the Brave wouldn’t cease; there would always be some chosen ones who, under certain conditions, would autonomously comprehend the Power of the Brave and become new Braves.

To completely destroy the Braves, one must first eradicate humanity.

But the human race in the Western Universe is truly like cockroaches, existing everywhere; and putting aside the explored worlds for a moment, even in those newly discovered worlds, one would always find the traces of native humans.

Exterminating humans in a single world might be simple, but wiping out humans across the entire Western Universe is a sheer impossibility, even the Calamity Species can’t achieve such a feat.

Not to mention, the witches could not allow such a thing to happen, for they are the evolved species of humanity, and due to the potential of Witch World transforming human fetuses into primeval witches within, humanity is even a crucial source population for witches, from either an emotional or interests standpoint, witches wouldn’t allow humanity to be annihilated.
