Dragon Knight, an ancient and powerful profession.

In most fantasy works, it is a hero profession at the pinnacle of the strength rankings, always popular and well-loved by people.

Of course, the vast majority of Dragon Knight novels are actually fictional, or rather, the Dragon Knights in those stories are not true Dragon Knights, after all, real Great Dragons are moving calamities, one of the Four Golden Races, not so easily subdued by people.

However, true Dragon Knights do exist.

The Great Dragons, although proud, also respect strength. If someone can truly convince them, then taming a Great Dragon and transitioning to become a true Dragon Knight is not impossible, but such formidable individuals are ultimately rare; even among the other three great Golden Races, the number of true Dragon Knights is not many.

As for Dragon Knights outside the Golden Races, they are so rare they could be written into the mythology of the group.

Dragon Tamers are actually responsible for uniting Dragon Witches and Great Dragons, mediating the relationship between the two. They are the foundation that allows the Dragon Knight legion to exist.

In the Dragon King Era, the selection of newcomers for the Dragon Knight legion, the pairing and training of new members with Juvenile Dragons, the transition and training of Dragon Knights, all these tasks were handled by the Yemengade Family. They were truly not just dragon caretakers.

Unfortunately, as glorious as Dragon Knights were, they also led to their downfall.

With Lord Dragon King’s retirement and seclusion, losing the leadership and intimidation of Lord Dragon King, the relationship between the Witch World and the Dragon Realm quickly cooled down. Even with the new Witch King, Lord Demon King, in power, the Great Dragons could not possibly hold the same reverence for Lord Demon King as they did for Lord Dragon King. Consequently, the supply of Dragon Eggs from the Dragon Realm to the Dragon Knight legion gradually decreased and eventually ceased.

Without new Juvenile Dragons, there was naturally no more talk of training Dragon Knights. Gradually, with the retirement and seclusion of the old generation of Dragon Knights, the once formidable Witch Dragon Rider Army of the Western Universe became history, and the Yemengade Family as a Dragon Tamer family naturally declined as well.

Hmm, Dorothy had always only known that the Yemengade Family excelled in Dragon Transformation Technique and the War Magic Faction, but she never understood why. It wasn’t until she finished learning the family history that she suddenly realized.

It turns out these two Skills are the core inheritance of the Dragon Tamers.

Apart from the Combat Magic School, the other eight Schools of Witch Magic in the Witch World all come from Dorothy’s first-time-around magic drafts, and the inspiration for planning the Transformation School as a branch by the homebody witch originally came from imagining the mythical Elf Druid Faction.

In legend, the Druid Elves are envoys and guardians of nature, coexisting with nature, traveling with the beasts. Thus, they possess the capability to command plants and transform into animals.
