Otherworldly Merchant

Chapter 1579: Fine Steel Flying Claws

I hit the flashlight and carefully checked the front and back of the bones again. I saw nothing new, so I rested on the stone wall for a while.

There are black painted holes all around, there are so many switches, you can't tell which way is the real path, or the mouse hole is just the dead road, there is no way out?

I have some uncertainty as to whether I should go back the way I was, retreat along the remains of a mouse bone, and then break into the sea of snakes again with disgust; or continue on to see if I can get out of this road.

As I was doing this, I suddenly felt a cool breeze blowing from behind me.

The wind?

The rat hole is dense and complicated, walking so long without even a little wind, how come there is a sudden wind?

I got a little weird reaching out, that's good!

It's not my illusion, it's the wind.

If the wind blows, it proves that the hole is connected to the outside world, and it's not far from here.

Looks like the exit is nearby.

This sudden discovery surprised me. After a good fight with the face rat, my slightly tired body was refreshed.

I stood up and refreshed my lower backpack, and the two iron boxes were useless, and I threw them next to the bones and drilled out through a more windy hole.

The further that hole goes inside, the narrower it gets, and many places have to barely crawl through it.

Good thing the rats in those faces have already been scared to run away and won't bother me again...

After a short climb, the cold wind grew heavier and smaller, but the holes couldn't even climb.

Helpless, I had to pull out my knife and dig the rock to keep going.

After more than thirty metres of hard climbing, a boulder appeared ahead.

There was a hole in the stone the size of a child's head, and the chilling wind blew in from there.

I probed my arm and touched it. The boulder was empty, so this must be the end of it!

All of a sudden, something fell on my finger, and I retracted and looked at it with a flashlight, and it was blood.

Why is there blood here? Where did it come from?

I lay on the back of the boulder for a while and didn't notice anything, so I kept swinging to dig it up.

Boom!

The boulder was pryed and the whole thing rolled out.

I pushed too hard and followed the hole.

Who would have thought that the cliff was behind the boulder? Half my body was already empty, and I almost fell into the abyss with the boulder!

I panicked and stuck to the hole wall behind me, and the flashlight fell into the dark with the boulder in panic.

The light went away, the darkness was still dark, the smaller the stone, the farther it fell, and after a long time there was still no echo, I really don't know how deep this cliff is!

My heart retracted with excess palpitations, resting on the stone wall for a moment, pulling out the spare flashlight and shooting at the top of my head.

The hole I dug up was not far from the top of the cliff, almost 20 meters.

The top of my head was also pitch black, but I could see that it was a big hole with enough truck access, and there were artificial marks on both sides of the hole wall, and I should have accidentally carved through another passage.

Blood drops from time to time from the edge of the cliff.

There was something shaking on a raised pointy rock.

I tied my flashlight to my shoulder and pulled my mechanical flying claw out of my backpack, aiming at the cliff and shooting at it!

This is a bullet flying claw for Special Forces Rock Climbing, and we've got three of them, Pike, Lina and I. One each. When entering the underwater site to mitigate the equipment, Jiang Daqi said that it was enough to leave one. Lina had already carried it on her shoulder. I thought about it and brought one with me. I didn't think it would actually be useful.

Flying claws clamped the stone seam tightly, I pulled up and down a few times and climbed up along the rope.

Shortly afterwards, I saw the thing hanging on the pointy rock.

It's also a flying claw, and it looks exactly like mine, I'm sure this is the one Lina brought!

It's just that the rope's been broken. There's only half a cut left. What is this?

Did they fall out of here?

I turned my head and looked down, the boulder had fallen for so long without echoing, I can't imagine how deep this side is! If they do fall out of here, it's a lot less ferocious.

But the question is, how did the rope break?

This is a specially crafted nylon rope, enough to lift a car, even if all three of them hang on the rope.

And the cut was strange, not like it was torn off, not even flat, not like it was cut off by a knife axe or something, but I think I've seen it somewhere, I just can't remember it for a while.

Blood continues to drip. What's happening on that cliff?

I slowly climbed up at the altitude of the intangible needle with vigilance.

Nothing moves above the cliff, full of blood and a broken arm not far from the cliff.

Half-cut black tights remain on the broken arm, with a very odd mark on the wrist - obviously this arm is not any of us, nor Takashi Fujita.

And who is it?

Boom!

There was a loud burst of boredom coming down the cliff, and the previous boulder did not reach its end until then.

I was a little stunned when the flashlight shone down again. They were really going to fall out of here, I'm afraid they wouldn't have made it!

I strolled carefully along the aisle and found two more bodies, all identical in black tights, with that weird mark engraved on their arms.

One head fell to one side and his chest was almost split in half, leaving only a little flesh and blood, which appeared to have been cut to death by Fan Chung's machete.

There are several thick thumb holes in the chest of the other head, but they are never punched through by ordinary bullets. This was supposed to have been done by Lina, who had taken out a strangely styled little pistol when she was dealing with the giant sunflower.

The surrounding walls, and even the blood on the ground, scattered many darts and hollow swords in their hands.

Judging by the weapon, it should be the Japanese ninjas, most likely with the three ninjas sneaking aboard.

These guys are obviously far more powerful than the other three, and they can actually push Lina, Pike, and Van Chong into the cliff.

So these are the guys who used the knife to pry open the stone door?

Moreover, the two bodies on the ground remain intact, albeit shattered. Besides, these ninjas are used to a threesome, which means one more guy is missing!

I watched the blood dripping away, squeezing the intangible needle and chasing it tightly, the blood hasn't dried up yet, the other side should not have escaped far.
