Chapter 712: Mr. Grant, Let Me Help You
Fiona Linton’s eyes reddened as well. She couldn’t stand scenes like this. They always made her think of her own mom and dad.
A tissue was offered to her. She turned her head and saw a delicate, shy young face.
Annie York handed her the tissue, her own eyes red as she asked, "Are you the doctor Chloe hired? You can definitely cure Chloe, right?"
Fiona Linton took the tissue, dabbed the damp corners of her eyes, and said, "In this world, nothing is one hundred percent certain. I can only try my best."
Annie York looked at her with particular solemnity. "Then we’re counting on you. You have to cure them!"
’When she came in and saw the bandages wrapped around Walker Grant’s eyes, her heart ached so much it felt like it would shatter!’

A cold, electronic female voice sounded out, "Grandma, I’m fine. You don’t need to worry about me. It doesn’t hurt, and I’m not suffering. I just can’t talk for a little while."
This only made the old woman’s heart ache more. She caressed Chloe Reed’s face, wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes, and said, "Chloe, are you hiding a lot of things from me? For you both to be injured at the same time... did something very dangerous and serious happen? Please don’t hide it from me anymore, okay? I don’t want to live in constant fear every day."
Chloe Reed pressed her lips together. ’What she feared most had finally happened.’

She lifted her face and gave her grandmother a smile.
The old woman sighed helplessly and said, "Alright. You two just got back, so get some rest. I’m not leaving. I’m going to stay and watch over your treatment."
Then, her gaze fell upon Fiona Linton’s face. "And this is?" she asked.
Walker Grant said, "She’s the doctor we hired, Fiona Linton. She gives us acupuncture every day."
"Good. Doctor Linton, we’ll be counting on you to take care of them," the old woman said, looking at Fiona Linton with red-rimmed eyes.
Fiona Linton nodded. "Grandma, please rest assured. I will definitely do my best!"
’I have to heal them. Only then will they go seek revenge on the Holloway Family, and I’ll go with them.’
’I will kill Jasper Holloway with my own hands to avenge my parents!’
The grandmother kept a tight grip on Chloe Reed’s hand, unwilling to let go. They went straight back to the room to rest.
At that moment, Annie York came forward and said softly, "Mr. Grant, let me help you back to your room."
"No need." Walker Grant’s tone was very cold. "Why are you here?"
Annie York quickly explained, "I didn’t come on my own. Grandma called me, so I came over. I knew Grandma was leaving Breyburn today, so I wanted to see her off. We were halfway there when Grandma said she’d forgotten something, so I came back with her to get it."
