Our demon king is coming. (formerly Mayday A Series)

04: Thor, the legacy of the underground labyrinth.

I'm Thor.

I met a mysterious sailor clothing girl in an oasis on my way to Sherhary, king's capital of the Kingdom of Chamberlain.

She looks like a busty cat-eyed girl, but she's such a weirdo.

His name is Maki.

He was single, trying to cross the border of the Chamberlain kingdom, so I pulled him over and told him to go from underground together.

"Hey, can you get off?

"Hmm. It's not like this."

Maki jumped into a well with water drawn.

I get off so lightly, I wonder if she's really a girl from another world.

I got off right next to her, too, and analyzed the surrounding space.

I quickly figured out where there seemed to be a passage across the brick.

"Right here. On this other side, there's a way."

"How do you get there? Are you gonna smash this wall?

"Asshole. What if it triggers a trap like that?"

"Even if you activate that, you shouldn't shatter it from the front. What?"

"You..."

What kind of push type is that?

I'm scared of this guy saying it in the face.

I ignored what Maki said and looked for a way to open this wall.

If you have the ability to grasp space, you will know exactly where to go.

"Oh, there it is."

I found a blur diagonally down the right.

I feel a little magic there.

I touch my magic as it flows.

Pushing this further, apparently, the bottom of this well falls off and falls into the needle mountain.

Create a sticky little space, push it against the contour, and pull it out.

It's not that easy to take out, a long brick came out.

Then, a brick with magic collapses raggedly, and an entrance opens up through which each person can pass.

"Oh, peace of mind. Much more than flickering sesame seeds.

"Only a certain amount of magic can get in there."

There's a gouge in the back and a deep low noise.

I wonder what that sounds like.

Me and Maki are on guard around us, but we go down a dark road.

All the while, when I thought my eyes were brighter, Maki was illuminating the flashlight.

"You brought something like that?

"Yeah. Solar rechargeable. It could run out on the way."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It was as if he had heard beforehand that he was coming to another world.

As I found out from that light, this passage still looks like an artificially constructed tunnel, secured with an arched, hard substance.

It seems to be very old, some of it is degrading, but it still keeps the underground space, so it's not a lot of technology.

Princess Shatoma also said that this still seems to be the legacy of a super ancient civilization.

"Oh, it looks like we're going out into a wide aisle."

……

As you can see on the map, there is a thick cavity across the desert.

That's the guy called Main Street.

From there, a small passage spreads like a root, leading to entrance exits everywhere, but even Princess Shatoma said she didn't know everything.

The main street is easy to understand, but there are too many other corridors in the corridor to send investigators home?

In a little while, I'll figure out the whole underground labyrinth.

"You, aren't you afraid?

"What?

"What? Such a dark passage... normal women scare me."

"I'm not scared, but it feels weird."

……

She was calm, but alert to the wind.

"Oh, the flashlight, it's off"

"Huh."

A space that suddenly gets dark.

"You, you're too soon."

"Because I always put it in my bag!

"You said it was solar, but you didn't usually charge it."

"'Cause"

We panic.

But after a while, the stone that was stuck in Maki's spear glowed with bois.

The surrounding area is more extensive than when it is illuminated by flashlight light.

"Wow, I can't believe this had such a handy feature"

"You own it. I mean, what is it? Where did you get that?"

"Hmm, I don't know what to say. A little enemy, you said, had it. I recently got it."

"Enemy or bandit or something? You took it?

"Yeah, I got it."

……

It doesn't make sense. Maki doesn't seem to want to explain it to me properly.

You look like a pretty radio woman.

"Nevertheless, a place full of strange magic."

"It's a Magi particle. Good quality stuff, but old."

"... Magi particles"

Maki groans and squeals.

Magi particles are elements that build magic, but they come in many different kinds.

What is precipitating on the western continent are the malignant Magi particles, the levels at which humans interfere with their physical fitness and body simply by touching it or including it in their bodies?

After a while, the surrounding magi particles noised about whether they had reacted to the light of that spear stone held by Maki.

It gathers around the stone, forming a dense magic force.

It must be a strange magic tool.

Rely on the light to touch the wall and explore.

I can see that they have materials and structures that are very old but cannot be made with modern Mayday technology.

I wonder what. Zawazawa and something behind me tickles me.

"Look, Tor. Let's move on."

"Oh, oh."

He is called by Maki to take the main street towards the Kingdom of Chamberlain.

It seems there are sidetracks everywhere, but it is unacceptable to peek at them.

It bothers me though.

But I just wish I could have gone down Main Street. We're going through some difficulties on our way.

Suddenly, the ceiling collapsed and the road was blocked.

"Oh. No. Damn. Ah. I didn't get this kind of fall on the map I got. Well, the map belonged to last year."

"But desert sand, you're not coming in."

"This wall is under restorative magic. It seems to work that if the old ones peel off, new walls will come out. If the technique goes crazy, it won't even be repaired anymore."

"Hmm. Sounds like your magic fortress."

……

Why does this guy take for granted that I can use the Magic Fortress?

In the first place, how do you know?

Maki hasn't even noticed what he said.

"I have no choice. Let's take a detour. The map also seems to have a way out of the sidewalk to Main Street again."

"Heh. It doesn't feel like exploring the labyrinth. It seems more interesting than the boulevard sticking together."

"You know. We're not playing."

"So, which way do I go?

Maki is not listening.

I explored the surrounding space for a little while and chose a sidewalk.

Princess Shatoma told me I'd get lost when I went on the sidewalk, but I couldn't help it.

From Main Street, the roughness of the ground comes through the back of your feet.

"Hey, hey, Tor"

"Mmm."

Maki pulled my sleeve.

I didn't really look in front of him, just worrying about the surrounding spatial information described in the cube-shaped 3D magic formation, but I raise my face in Maki's hasty voice.

"Oh, that..."

……

Zung... Zung...

It sounds good enough to be conscious, like footsteps.

But it sounds heavy and dull.

It's getting bigger and bigger.

"... eh"

What showed up was a big, rocky giant big enough to rub his head in the sky.

"... no way, giant soldier (golem)?

The guy shook up a large rock sword in his hand and emitted a mysterious sound mixed with mechanical sounds.

It was a language I didn't know, but I understood it.

"Sinnyusha Haijo"

As soon as I understood it, I also understood that this guy was trying to make us deceased.

I rushed out my sword and tried to build magic, but I see a red light running in a straight line in front of me faster than I do something.

It's Maki.

She shook her bright red spear wide and crushed the enemy in front of her with one blow.

Literally, that broke down so fast that I thought it was made of building blocks.

Wrapped in the loud sound of rocks falling apart and earthen smoke.

"Oh, my God, he's not responding."

……

Maki stood on a crumbling rock and followed it with a spear to make it funny and uninteresting.

I said, "Pooh."

"Now, you, what have you done?

"What? I broke this. I ordered it to break, but it's gonna break from a little touch, so it's brittle."

"... orders?

When you destroy a giant soldier, you order him to destroy everything. 'Cause I don't know if it's a lacrima on my head or if it's a trick on my back. "

"... you"

From her hands, blood is flowing and the red spear shines so brightly.

Pepper, and licking the blood in her palm, she was disgustingly impressed and couldn't help but look away.

Maki knows how to break a giant soldier.

When asked why, she said:

"I broke it before."

That's all.

That's not what high school girls say.

This one says you're having a pretty rough time just taking down a giant soldier.

"But this wasn't a big soldier's response."

"... not a modern giant soldier. Literally, it's a golem. Probably a long time ago."

"Long ago, of super ancient civilization?

……

If you're saying this is an underground passage made of super ancient civilization, it could be.

The crushed stones were directly engraved with the art in ancient letters.

Pretty fine.

With that said, the Silver King said it before. At first, he said he was making golems out of stone and sand.

I guess this golem was sleeping in an underground space.

But Princess Shatoma didn't say anything about the golem...

Thinking, I went on for a while.

"Oh, hey Thor, look!!

Maki pulled my sleeve again.

I look up at her face, and I see her finger pointing, and she has a snag in a shape that is very similar to that of the earlier golem.

"Maybe that's what you just said, Golem, that you came out of here?

"Something might have triggered it. I don't know."

……

Around the cavity in the shape of a golem, a mural was painted.

Ancient letters and surgical formulas are incorporated like branches in a diagram mimicking a tree.

It's an odd painting with a single god lying on the top of it, lined with different forms of golem at the root of the tree.

The golem moved, the trigger.

I wonder what...

Is it me?

Or this mysterious spear that this guy next door has... or this guy himself...

In the first place, what the hell is this guy?

Fundamental questions. My interest in Maki grows.

"Oh, there's something"

……

Maki inadvertently approached him in the form of a golem.

Oh, my God, there was a door behind that snag with a complicated pattern.

Even if Maki punches it on or slaps it, it doesn't make it slight.

"Hey Tor. I'm not opening it."

"Are you trying to tell me to open it?"

"'Cause you were doing something in the well earlier. I'm sure it's Karakuri."

……

Maki seemed to be able to use magic, but he basically hated thinking.

I have no choice but to put my hand on that door and see what the cavity in the back is.

"... across this wall... you have one open room. It's going to be a stopover..."

"Let's open it."

……

Princess Shatoma was told not to stop by, even if something bothered her.

I don't have any kiri.

But Maki looks up at me, curious.

Open it, open it, open it... those are the sights.

"Open up... open up... open up, Thor."

Then I whined out.

Damn this.

"I get it. I don't know what's coming out. Whether a large number of snakes come out or a razor. Don't cry if you have a mummy or something."

More or less, this room of hands is often a trap.

Maki says, "He's hiding behind you," and he just keeps it stuck perfectly on my back, peeking at my face.

Am I a shield?

I can't help it, but for some reason, I can't turn this guy down.

I tried to find a way to open the door.
