Our demon king is coming. (formerly Mayday A Series)

68: Mythology Daiichi 1 - A world of nothing

Even though it was a long time ago, I can clearly remember the first time I saw this world.

It was the first time I touched this earth.

I was already there when I woke up.

……

Did it even snow, so much so that it seemed like a bright white world?

No, you're not.

Maybe it's black.

I don't know.

In a nutshell, it was chaos there.

"Hey, is anybody here?

Such a voice was heard from the side.

Looking for the Lord of Voices by hand, he hits someone other than himself.

"Well, who..."

"Who are you, a person?

"I..."

Who the hell am I?

Second, I tried to remember who I was. But the name doesn't come up at all.

"Hey, is anybody there?

"Here... where...?

"Hey, what the hell is this!

I heard voices from all over, and I knew there were more than one human being here.

What triggered it?

The sight opens in front of you at once, capturing the sight of the scene and the appearance of a person.

"... eh"

There was a cloudy, brown creepy sky and a withered earth.

The number of men who lay low on the earth is nine.

From what I saw, they were all decent people, but I thought they were about 12 to 17 years old, including myself.

"Ah..."

Everyone looks up and sees a world without its nothing.

Surely there, we see only the sky and the earth. There are no buildings, no mountains, a flat earth all the way to the back.

What is this sense of despair that looms in our hearts when we don't even know where we are?

I felt so lonely.

"Here, where...? I'm scared..."

The youngest girl I've ever seen, with all her green hair cut with her shoulders, cried out once more.

A grey-haired boy, who was beside the girl, panicked and said, "Are you okay?," he says.

What? I don't know what it is.

What the hell is this world? Where did we come from?

Keeping my confused head in check, I just stared pointlessly at the sand of the dry earth.

For a while, without anyone being able to swallow this situation, I was looking at a strange world, but a silver-haired boy rises up.

"Nine, huh? Is there anyone in here who can explain this situation!

The silver-haired boy inquires in a Rin manner, and everyone looks up.

This boy seemed reliable to some of the people on the spot.

I thought the outfit was noble and it looked like a royal family, but it has an unfamiliar look.

Everyone shook their heads at what this silver-haired boy said.

"We must have come to another world."

The brunette boy who was on my far side also stands up and gives his opinion. I thought this was the guy I bumped into earlier.

The red-haired girl, who was in a place beyond the brunette boy, asks him to shrug.

"What do you mean? Were we brought to a world we didn't know about? To who the hell? I don't know what that means."

"Oh, I don't even know. But how did you see this... you don't know the world?"

I worshipped the world again, following the gaze of a brunette boy.

Oh, well. Have you come to a world where you have no idea?

It was an inexplicable situation, but that was all I understood. Only the smell of sand and dust is in the wind, coming from across the street.

But that's all.

It was really just that, the world. That was the foundation of the world we were summoned to.

"Hey......"

A vine-colored, long-haired girl looks at everyone and asks them.

"Guys, what's your name? I can't remember my name at all from earlier..."

……

"... eh"

That was one fact that everyone finally realized.

I also remember having a name. Something from somewhere else seems to be remembered gradually.

But I can't remember the name.

I've been able to be silent for a while.

"Are you kidding me... why am I like this... whose fault is it... eh"

I heard a blue-haired, skinny boy squirming blushing as he bit his thumbnail.

He's a pale boy with a tight eyelid and a dark neighborhood.

You look like a pain in the ass, I thought at the time.

"Hey... over there, check it out"

Of the nine of them, the tallest, but good, gray-haired, short-haired boy gets up and points to the far other side in another direction that we haven't seen.

I hadn't noticed because of the air that had been precipitated until now, but gradually my vision became clearer and I noticed that there was a green corner in the direction pointed by the grey-haired boy.

There's something long.

"It's a tree..."

"... really"

blush and each squeaks.

Nothing, it was supposed to be a world without it.

But if you gaze at it, you can see it. Everyone understood it to be a lush tree of green leaves.

"Hey... let's go to that tree"

A calm, atmospheric, gray-haired boy suggested, supporting the shoulders of a sobbing green-haired girl once again.

"Sure. I can't believe you're here. If there's a tree, there might be water and food."

"Oh, right. Let's move."

A silver-haired boy and a dark-haired boy nodded at each other and took the lead to guide us.

The two of them have swords on their hips, both of them in noble stature. I'm sure in the world before, he was in quite a position.

Only the two of them seemed to be very attentive and talking about the future.

Everyone would have thought at this time that it was these two people who would make choices and be the ones who would lead us in knowing nothing.

"... are you okay?

When I say, I seem to have sat on the earth to the very end.

Even though everyone is getting up and trying to keep up with the two boys.

It was the red-haired girl who reached out to me like that.

He didn't change his anxious face, but he looked like he was going to cry and still reached out to me.

The question was, I remembered somewhere that I had come to another world, but I looked up at the red-haired girl with no expression.

I reach unconsciously and ask that red-haired girl to pull her hand and stand up.

I don't know why I'm getting a little girl like this, younger than me, to pull my hand... kind of pity...

It doesn't make sense to think about it.

"You... uh, what's your name... no, you're not. You don't know his name."

……

"Neither can I. I can't remember."

……

"How old are you?

"Fifteen"

"Yes, I'm 14."

……

and talk alongside me, aiming only at large trees that look far away.

It feels weird. Sometimes I said I didn't know how to deal with it because I had never talked to a girl around the same age.

If you look closely, she has a very beautiful face. The eyes bordered by long lashes are large, the lips are small and the skin is white in color.

But the girl thought I cared about her redhead.

"Oh, you redhead? I don't like the colour, it's like the colour of blood... he hated me so much."

……

"I was originally in a country full of brunettes. So these colors... even monsters."

"A monster...?

"You have beautiful blonde hair. What world are you from?

The girl must have been afraid the conversation would break. Because silence makes me think of everything.

He was asking me something.

Nine children are walking, both in front and behind, like they are in a row.

A wilderness with nothing, just a long vertical tree that can seem like a phantom.

All I was leading the way to lead us through was to say a brave silver-haired and brunette boy.

"I was... in a dark town. I dug a hole, I worked."

"Oh, you worked? What about your parents?

"... you weren't there"

"Yeah. Me too. My mother and father died when I was little."

……

The red-haired girl, with her lonely eyes, laughed with her shoulders up all the time.

"You're a little dirty in the face. I think I even put black coal on it. Is that because of your job of digging holes?

……

That's what they said, touching my own cheek, staring at the black powder on my hand, and I, too, try to remember myself in detail.

Born is a dirty town of factory air adjacent to a mine to dig minerals that become energy.

You've been working here ever since you got your mind on it.

They were going through a dark hole that only children could get into, digging out even minerals.

That's when. I thought if I did, I'd dig in.

Today I was thinking about Norma being able to accomplish it quickly, or not being whipped by the director's man.

But there was an unpleasant noise shortly afterwards, and the rockfall blocked the rear.

I was buried alive in a hole.

I yell for you to let me out, but no one will let me out.

Only fear and despair were attacking me at this time. Gradually he was unable to breathe, and in the hole he became hot, ready to die.

I cursed God that if he were to be killed twitching in a place like this, he would have let me die in a flash.

What an unfortunate life it was.

My consciousness blurred and my eyes closed.

... I noticed I was here.

In this world of no cold or hot, nothing.

Nothing but openness, I know, in this world.

"Wow......"

The perimeter of the great tree, which was visible from afar, was a small area but a forest, and where it had passed, there was a special space where one could not help but feel the sacred air.

Coming to the root of the great tree, I can see how splendid it was.

The tiny nine children are all overlooked and taken away by a great being who also seems to be their mother.

Only the sound of rubbing leaves whispers to us.

We're the only people here.

Nothing to interrupt. You can live as you please.

The nine children would have known each other about the despair and joy of this time.

That's all, I knew why. You don't have to ask me anything.

Because everyone was crying.

I've lost my name and abandoned the original world, just kids. Really, he was just a kid.

We all wanted to escape something cruel, didn't want to die, obsessed with the raw, and wished hard.

I don't like this place. I want to be happy.

I want a place that accepts my existence.

I want power.

Unlimited tenderness, wanting to go to the world.
