Our demon king is coming. (formerly Mayday A Series)

71: Mythology Daiichi 4 - Klondor and Magiliva

"Hey Hadefis. Look at this."

It was when I followed my orders and came to the back of the woods with Klondor.

The Vabel Forest has shown a rapid spread here recently, producing many lives.

There are also trees or strange plants in the vicinity of the dwelling area that you may not know if you notice them.

Even this morning, there was a big hill on the back of the tree, and we all looked up.

The men are breaking up into three teams, climbing that hill and strolling.

Me and Klondor had our first spring on the way up.

Klondor crouches down and hands on the water.

"The water's warm."

"... a hot spring"

"Hot springs?"

Klondor had a decent look, unaware of the existence of the hot springs.

Where I was born and raised, the hot springs seemed very common...

Going through the woods for a while, it was a blue and white world I had never seen before.

Tall conifers line up regularly, surrounded by fog.

"It's a new forest."

"Previously, when we had the world we wanted, why do we have unexpected things these days..."

Crondor roars "uhm" to grumble, stating his views.

"Perhaps our superficial hopes have been achieved to some extent. It should be time for each of those inner hopes that cannot be said in public. They flourished in the world before they knew it. I'm sure this Mayday is a world to fulfill all our wishes..."

"Fulfilling Hope... The World, Or"

"Oh. Even this conifer may be a view of sleeping in someone's deep psyche. Hometown, for example."

"... Hometown, huh? I wonder if you want to go home."

"Even if you don't want to go home, there are things I miss. Me too... I'm sure there's no more world when I go home."

Klondor laughed a little sarcastically and looked up at the sky.

This is a strange forest. Somewhere, the high noise of tapping the glass sounds.

I have certainly heard that the original world of Klondor has perished following a disaster.

I want to go back to the original world... I've never thought of that before, but if you ask me if I'm happy with this world that I want, I don't really know right now.

At first, we were all desperate to combine the unknown world with the pleasure of creating a business from scratch and the impatience of having to live, but we tend to have a little time to spare because we got the guidelines here recently and have been filled with everything again.

Is that why I recall fu?

I wonder what happened to the original world.

"With that said, Ellis isn't back yet..."

As Klondor reminded me as he offered me his hand in climbing a slightly raised rock.

"Ellis? He was here before. I thought I was going home."

I told them I saw Ellis by the loom cabin the other day.

But Klondor gave a terribly puzzling look at this thing.

"... Really? No, it's not like that... Somehow, I know if there's anyone in my neighborhood. But Ellis has been away forever."

……

For a moment, very cold air flowed from the side.

I feel the silence is just a little heavy. From somewhere, I felt like someone was looking at us, feeling that gaze.

At a time like this, there was a rattling noise from the side of the rock that climbed, and neither me nor Klondor accidentally raised their shoulders.

Looking down, I could see that something softened black crossed the grass.

After a little silence with each other, we exchanged our gazes.

"I wonder what. Wild rabbits, I guess."

"If the wild rabbit was that big, you wouldn't have trouble with the food for a while"

"Then what would it be? I've never seen a beast this big before."

"... I haven't discovered a fierce beast yet, but it's not strange when it's born"

"Right.... but that's a big deal. Because it means danger has arisen."

As we climbed high, we were thinking about what the black shadow was earlier.

But I can't even imagine.

If it's just like attacking us, it could be a big deal if we don't think about countermeasures...

Think of it that way, as you climb the rocks, the blue and white coniferous forests are over and now wrapped in something orange.

"Ah!! The top."

Krondor, who was climbing earlier, raised his voice.

Is it because I got to the top?

"Hey, over here. Come quick."

……

"Look, come on!

I pulled my hand and let him climb the rocks, and Klondor shrugged like a child before pointing to the view on the cliff and beyond.

……

That's the first sight I've ever seen.

I never looked around the trees from high places.

The sunset falls to the Mayday horizon, which runs straight everywhere.

The forest lit up in orange and glowed beautifully.

The color reminds me of something I miss, and I can just tighten my chest a little bit.

"Behold, on the outskirts of the woods, a strange rocky zone is formed. That's an added element, too. I wonder if someone wanted it."

Klondor sat up on the cliff and squealed.

Remove the sachet from the pocket and pick the dried fruit from inside.

"Look, you eat it too."

"What's the matter, it"

"Magiliva made me have it. Even at the break, you two should eat."

"... Magiliva? He's loud, and he's a caretaker. Besides, the food is tense."

"Ha. Must be. But there's something cute about it. You had a shoulder injury the other day when I was dodgy. He was so worried that he was going to cry, he took care of it. No, you were already crying something... He looks like he's feeling pretty good, but there's something out there that's cowardly about him."

……

"It's just, he's got a lot of scratches on his body. I'm sure it's been hard on you in the world before."

"Do you care?

"Bye. You all care."

……

I picked and ate some berries from Krondor's sachet of dried fruit.

Sweet and sour, just a little bitter. But that tastes a little queasy.

"Hadefis, you're wondering if anybody's here."

"... what?

"It's a girl. You may not have noticed, but one day someone's going to have to marry someone. We can't always be the Nine of us."

……

I wondered what it was about.

No, I know because the concept of marriage, the concept of husband and wife, about the business of men and women, was in the previous world.

But I thought it was like a world story that had nothing to do with me, so I never thought about who cared.

Girls are unusual creatures, as much as I thought.

"But there are three girls. Somebody's got extra."

"... right. I think that's a pretty troublesome place."

"I'll be fine."

"Hadefis learned something like that. You really don't have any greed. Are you from Enlightenment Generation? Oh, the Enlightenment Generation was in my original world, the generation of enlightened young people who didn't want things because of the decline..."

……

I'm probably a real face.

Klondor had explained something unintelligible, but he went on to misunderstand whether he had embarrassed himself.

"One, two, you, man. I'm not giving anyone my favorite girl, show them how temperamental you are!

He's not in there.

"... Oh, yeah"

Krondor laughed bitterly because I answered rarely and clearly.

I just think about it for a little while, then I squeal naturally out the questions.

"... or if you like yourself, will they like you?

"Ha, is there a reason for that? Some love doesn't come true. … so I get thoughts."

……

Klondor had a slightly lonely look, sighing small and remembering somewhere.

The small, smiled, neat face is distressing, and he, too, seems to have had such a person once.

At that time, there was always a vision of a beautiful girl with thin blonde hair, coming from behind my brain.

Walk alongside Klondor and sometimes laugh corny. Poor thing, I don't rely on it anywhere.

Oh... this guy, the princess that Klondor once protected in his native country, is that it?

The last person I couldn't protect.

I could understand why, even if it wasn't explained.

Keep your head down and wait for that vigeon to subside.

"Hadefis?"

"... no"

I don't see why Klondor's memories have been pouring into my head.

But this was one of my magic, and I'll come to think of it later.

Hadefis of death, soul and memory.

Later, it is assumed that God is responsible for such things.

And then, on the wind, I smelled something different.

If you think you did, Klondor stands up in momentum and has a hazy look.

"What's up?

"There's a weaving cabin... weird. I kind of know what's going on with the building I built.... this is... what? Fire?"

"Huh?"

We were a little freaked out by what Klondor felt, the weirdness of the weaving cabin.

Hurry down the hill, run through the woods and out.

Pick the shortest path and go straight back.

What we were worried about each other was the three girls who were always inside the loom cabin.

There were too many new elements made this morning, and the men were working in three hands apart.

Klondor must be the first such person to notice the strangeness of the weaving cabin.

"The fire is up!!

"Fire."

The weaving cabin is in a square on the edge of the forest.

Me and Krondor blued when we saw the flames rising from it.

Two shadows crouch in front of that cabin, find themselves about to suffer, and rush over.

"Psima!! Demeteris!!"

"... Klondor... Hadefis..."

Pushma cried, calling our names.

Demeteris is falling in agony. They both have clothes all over them, and their bodies are full of coal.

"Ha, help me. Magiliva's still inside!

"What?

Why, did Magiliva escape?

While I was thinking about it for a moment, Krondor jumped into the fire-burning weaving shed without getting lost.

I tried to go on later too, but I checked on Demeteris because Pushma cried "Demeteris is going to suffer".

This is carbon monoxide poisoning.

Even in the mines where I used to work, it's a symptom that went on.

"Let's move it to a fresher place where we can breathe air and try to keep it warm.... if Utice is here... no, I can't help it"

I took charge of Demeteris and hurried away from the side of the fire.

The look on Psima's face is blue, grabbing my sleeve and worrying about Demeteris and Magiliva and Krondor, who are in the fire.

"Suddenly... something was thrown into the cabin. It exploded and the fire turned in an instant... because Magiliva was in the deepest part... the loom got in the way... so..."

……

"Magiliva told us to get away first......"

Pushma, in small words, told me the situation.

The side of the little fountain, which was a little further, felt like the clearest air. Put him to sleep on that side and put the jacket I was wearing on Demeteris.

"I'll go back and help Magiliva and Klondor. You guys stay here!

That's what I said, I put water in a bucket that was by the fountain, and I go back to the cabin.

If something happens to those two, what do I do? Nonetheless, I thought so.

Both of you, stay safe. Out of that fire, come out alive.

When I went through the woods thinking that way, what popped into my eyes was the silhouette of Krondor coming out of the fire holding Magiliva.

Magiliva is holding her mouth down and coughing up gorgeous.

It's proof of life.

"Ah..."

Good.

From the bottom of my heart, I relieved myself.

How long has it been since I thought of someone else like that?

Before I could catch up, Klondor's leg collapsed and the two fell over the grass.

"Hey, are you okay? Water."

I took the bucket to both sides.

Klondor wraps the water in his palms and takes it "here" to Magiliva's mouth, but Magiliva was powerless and neat.

You didn't think you had a choice, Klondor dumped the water in her palm once, drank it directly from the barrel, and when it was also in her mouth, she hugged Magiliva, who was just on her knees, laying her own lips on her lips, and poured the water into her mouth.

……

Two and watching the water flow from the edge of Magiliva's mouth and her throat move again, we can see that Magiliva drank the water.

But for me, this sight was such a quiet shock that it stood and solidified on the spot.

"... Klondor..."

"Magiliva. Are you okay?

"............ Ugh... Klondolu..."

Magiliva cried, shaking her body backwards from her usual strong girlfriend.

I've never seen Magiliva cry, but I've never seen her cry so far.

Deposit yourself in Klondor and expose yourself to everything.

Fear and relief, I can feel both.

Klondor strokes Magiliva's head, embracing and comforting her, even though she would be quite tired herself. I'm trying to give you peace of mind.

"Look, he said it's okay now. I won't turn the fire this far. Thanks... don't cry."

"... ugh... ugh..."

"Don't cry, Magiliva"

I have a feeling I'm just staring at that.

Wouldn't these two get tied up in time... I'm sure...

I don't have a very good feeling about that.

But at this time I was convinced and accounted for most of my thoughts, apart from feeling a slight heartbreak in the hunch.

These two also felt that they wanted it to be.

Well, even Magiliva is attracted to Krondor.

Klondor always looks good. You can count on me, and you will definitely help me.

If I could help you this way...... well...

I can tell you that it was this case that I understood for the first time that I was conscious and had thoughts of saying so, although I still didn't understand those emotions.

But I still don't know my own love.
