Chapter 1214 - 666: Chaotic Battle Begins (Part 2)

The fierce force made that evil cult warrior’s body unable to maintain steady footing and stumble backward, but there was no doubt failing to kill him immediately was a major mistake!

Being ambushed here meant something even those muddle-headed cultists understood, and they immediately wanted to shout.

But just as he opened his mouth, a cold gleam flashed, and a dagger precisely stabbed into the mouth of that cultist, the ritual power on it erupting to weaken his physique, while also interrupting his cry for help.

There was no doubt this was Amanda’s move.

These guys felt no pain or fear, immediately reaching to pull out the dagger, but with their head tilted in such a large flaw, Boudica wasn’t just going to stand by and watch.

Adjusting her posture after the previous mistake, she seized the opportunity to spin and swing her axe-spear upward in a perfect arc.

The brutish strength even sliced open the cultist’s jaw, leaving only the upper half of the face in its helmet visible, the rest a bloody mess with blood and flesh continuously flowing out.

But these guys’ strength far exceeded that of ordinary followers, and they still weren’t dead, even attempting to attack.

However, the exaggerated bleeding drained his last bit of life force, and although his body maintained a pose of raising iron claws to strike, he toppled over in the next second.

A great weapon needs no human manipulation.

Unfortunately, no matter how Boudica and Amanda tried to remedy, once the rhythm was disrupted, it was disrupted, and by the time adjustments were made, those cultists had adjusted as well.

Fortunately, there was a ballast in the team, and Lance quickly beheaded two more, putting an end to this skirmish.

More suffocating was how Audrey, after knocking one out, just stood there dumbfounded because the target she had chosen was killed by Lance, leaving her stunned on the spot.

Making nonsensical moves and skipping turns without reason would cause Lance to break down in a game.

Even in reality, it left him somewhat dissatisfied, "Damn game tormenting me, now reality too, wasn’t my traverse in vain?"

Yet reality often brings endless "surprises," as due to the corner, they caught those cultists off guard, but the corner also restricted their own vision.

The previous scene happened to be seen by a cultist lagging behind, who directly shouted.

"Enemy attack!"

"Help, quickly!"

This shout immediately interrupted their questioning of Audrey, startling everyone.

Because everyone knew what this meant?

This was the evil cult’s base, cultists were everywhere, they had only walked a few steps before bumping into so many, and now causing a commotion...

Audrey’s face went pale, realizing she shouldn’t have tried to steal the kill earlier.

Meanwhile, in their panic, Lance had already shot an arrow through the head of that fool, but the previous shout had already exposed their presence, and sounds of movement around them could be heard, indicating cultists were continuously converging here.

Lance’s expression wasn’t good either, but reality wasn’t giving him any breaks; there was no use assigning blame now, so he immediately went back to sacrifice the corpses, then signaled.

"Release the restriction, the mission remains to eliminate all cultists."

"The gate is right there, let’s get out quick." Audrey was hard to accept it, urging repeatedly, "We shouldn’t linger... evil is rampant."

"I won’t repeat myself, follow me." Lance had already held grudges against her, and now, he made no efforts to hide it, throwing a cold glance.

At that moment, Audrey’s panic instantly disappeared, because she met something more terrifying than fear.

"Damn fool! Satisfied now?" Amanda was actually quite panicked too, but dared not say anything to Lance, so she could only curse Audrey as an outlet.

Boudica, on the other hand, wasn’t the least bit afraid, in fact, she only grew more excited, her face flushed.

The previous fight was too restrained, she needed a stronger, more intense, more vigorous battle!

No time was given for further digestion as cultists’ figures already appeared at the side of the passage...

"Move, don’t get surrounded."

Lance didn’t hesitate at all, directly grabbing his weapon and charging forward. The cultists probably didn’t expect the enemy to be so bold as well, instinctively halting, but this was the last fragment of his consciousness.

For upon seeing Lance, he was already dead, with even his corpse consumed.

Lance, a man who had slaughtered the entire bay, if it weren’t for inheritance, would not have been so frustrated. Now with nothing to hide, it was a downright massacre.

Slaughtering while sacrificing, the efficiency was terrifying.

Now it wasn’t the cultists surrounding Lance, but Lance surrounding the cultists, those rushing in couldn’t stop the oncoming assault.

"Boss, leave some for me!"

Boudica exclaimed strangely, charging up with her axe-spear, directly penetrating one, pushing back those behind him, withdrawing as blood sprayed, and even half a gut dragged out.

"Waaagh!!!"

Repressed for long, Boudica roared triumphantly, fist raised, chest high, intimidating cultists who tried to approach.

No time to think, Audrey could only grab a pickaxe to open cans on those guys.

Amanda, on the other hand, didn’t randomly throw weapons around, but swung a whip, took out a hatchet and skillfully dismembered the enemy.

The intensifying battle brought some key figures from the Ascension Sect into play.

Cloaked in black, holding a unique staff with an iron-cast [Revelation] emblem at one end, representing the Ascension Sect.

"It’s a spellcaster! Take it down!"

As soon as it appeared, Lance sensed the evil aura surging in the air, spotting the hidden figure in an instant, raising a hand to mark it.

Amanda too had sensed it, thus promptly responded by throwing out a dagger.

But other cultists, aware of this threat, sacrificed themselves, standing in the way while loudly urging.

"Protect the Head Clerk!"

Attacks fell upon other cultists, and here, those cult spellcasters gained the greatest support, the evil cult mage known as Head Clerk completed a spell almost instantaneously.

Raising a crude staff, he pointed towards the most aggressively charging Lance, a bizarre purple-black Dharma Seal drawn out by a sinister force.

Old God’s Mark!

Simultaneously, Lance felt a mysterious force trying to affect him; in response, he shot back with a heavy crossbow.

Yet those cultists unhesitantly blocked the path, taking the attack on behalf of him; Lance, however, not being a ranged class, simply drew a blade and advanced.

One slash, one kill, those cultists perhaps fantasized about taking down Lance to ascend, but before they could react, they had become corpses, their bodies erased by the vacuum before even falling.

Bodies don’t hit the ground, civilization is all the better.

Perceiving Lance’s peculiarity, the Head Clerk raised his staff, drawing power continuously from the old house to bless the cultists.

Aberrant Demon blessing!

The strengthened cultists became even more formidable; Lance was fine, but Amanda and the rest found it troublesome.

Not that they couldn’t win, but being held up would draw more enemies.

Nonetheless, Lance wasn’t fazed, continuing to mow down the enemies, the solution simple: eliminate the spellcaster.

Again and again, the Head Clerk wielded the staff, casting malicious curses, but none troubled Lance, not even blowing a single hair.

Yet the bloodthirsty Wolf Fang got ever closer...

When suddenly, a longsword crossed over to block Wolf Fang, revealing a figure clad in black iron armor and a skull mask guarding the Head Clerk.

This was an unusual cultist attire, cultists yearning for flesh stimuli actually donning armor?

Lance didn’t need to break open this can, directly kicking out, employing the leg’s power, several times stronger than an arm’s, multiplied with his tyrannosaurus-like physique.

Almost instantly, that figure flew back like being hit by a cannon, tumbling several before coming to a stop, the sound of breaking bones no joke.

What level are you to dare block me?
