Under Sapan’s guidance, Lance raced through and soon found the resting place of the group in the deep forest.

However, his approach naturally alerted the barbarian warriors, who were already in a high-alert state.

Though their condition was off, they still had the resilience to retaliate under pressure. The sentry spotted him and shot an arrow at the incoming figure.

A feather arrow flew towards Lance, but it didn’t scare him. Instead, it frightened Sapan, who turned pale as a sheet, his pupils suddenly constricting into vertical slits like a snake’s.

It was evident that although the ritual failed, the power had still transformed his body.

Yet, Lance didn’t see this, nor did he sense any danger in his current situation.

He casually caught the arrow mid-air, a feat that left Sapan speechless and in disbelief.

"Look closely at who we are!"

At this moment, Lance’s voice snapped him out of his shock, prompting him to hurry forth and wave his hands while shouting.

"It’s me! I’ve returned!"

Lance, undeterred by the misunderstanding, put down Sapan, approached, handed the arrow back to the shooter, and remarked.

"You kid, you shoot pretty accurately."

The shooter looked at the feather arrow in his hand.

I just shot it out, didn’t I? How did it come back?

He was stunned for several seconds before coming back to his senses. Although his skill was unquestionable, this encounter was a first for him, leaving his mind blank.

This person is incredibly strong!

After a pause, Grendel followed up. She wasn’t wearing barbarian attire, nor did she carry a magic wand or a mask, making it hard for anyone unfamiliar with her to recognize her immediately.

Moreover, the mountains spread rumors of her death, turning her into a historical figure whose story had long dissipated. Even if someone had seen Grendel before, they wouldn’t associate her with a "dead" person now.

However, with Sapan leading them, the gathered barbarian mercenaries didn’t stop them, all having witnessed the previous hand trick and entering inevitable shock.

Lance observed these barbarians, most of whom were women and children, along with some robust individuals, but no elderly.

They all seemed lost and uneasy, like a flock of sheep without their "leader"...

Sapan escorted the two through the crowd, quickly finding Boslake lying on straw and fur, with barely any consciousness left.

"Lord, please save my father!" Sapan pleaded, looking at the two.

Lance glanced at him, noting the visible aging compared to their first encounter, his physique now emaciated, cheeks sunken. Clearly, he hadn’t been doing well.

"The ritual backlash and spiritual exhaustion are troublesome, not to mention prolonged delay and overwork, his body is extremely weak now."

Grendel shook her head solemnly, adding gravitas to the atmosphere with her words.

Doesn’t she know Lance’s abilities? She’s seen worse situations, but her words were to set the stage for Lance.

Yet, her words truly frightened Sapan. Knowing the Deer Head Priest’s capabilities, if she said it was hopeless, then...

Lance knew what she was doing and could only smile wryly, comforting Sapan.

"It’s alright, leave it to me."

Without delaying, Lance took out the "Panacea," personally feeding it to Boslake, making quite a scene.

At least the curious onlookers among the barbarians stretched their necks to watch, their eyes filled with curiosity and a glimmer of hope.

They needed someone to lead them forward.

"He’s fine now, he’ll recover soon." Lance said as he performed [Flesh Reconstruction].

To a transcendent, such problems were as simple as breathing, though he held back, not fully healing him as too remarkable a recovery would seem unreal.

Boslake’s condition visibly improved, his feeble breathing became clear and stable, his gaunt face now showed a hint of color, without the imminent threat of death.

"It’s nothing serious, give him some time to recover." Lance put away his items, still offering reassurance.

Yet, he glanced at the surrounding spectators, unfazed, casually inquiring of Sapan.

"Tell me, what’s the situation with you guys? How did it come to this?"

However, Sapan, unlike others, wasn’t wary and was about to speak when interrupted.

"Who are you?"

At this moment, the barbarians realized something—right! Who is this person? Why is he here?

Facing everyone’s confusion, Lance smiled and retorted.

"Boslake sent you to Hamlet to find me. Who do you think I am?"

By now, many had realized, yet, some still found it hard to believe because earlier, what they saw transcended their imagination.

How could a noble lord be carrying a barbarian boy?
