Chapter 1369 - 741: Hell Within the Heart (7)_2

Lance could have taken the opportunity to continue attacking the Lord, but he still turned back and swung the Warhammer at the flesh tentacles.

Wherever it passed, those flesh parts seemed to be gnawed by the void; with a few swift swings of the Warhammer, a massive tentacle was severed, and he raised his hand to sacrifice it, eliminating it.

The Limping Walker also seized the opportunity to let out a wail, black wave-like power stirring the space, finally allowing it to break free.

However, the Limping Walker was now in a very miserable state, with large patches of its body torn by the tentacles, and parts of its tentacles themselves broken off, escaping only with a torso.

Thankfully, Lance directly healed it with Flesh Reconstruction, those exaggerated injuries quickly recovering, and regenerated tentacles emerging.

Now tell me, who is the Flesh God?

The Lord at this moment was also unable to care anymore because, after Lance’s bombardment, Reynard and the others took the opportunity to attack.

This tacit cooperation was also the reason why Lance did not attack the Lord but instead saved the Limping Walker?

Lance, facing such a situation, did not dare to say he could withstand it, so there had to be a meat shield upfront.

Because the Limping Walker truly held on, you, since you can endure hardship, then endure more.

On the other side, the Lord stirs the aura of corruption, anything organic it touches melts into flesh, and even Reynard and the others could not withstand it, forcing them to be pushed back.

And at this moment, Lance seemed to feel something as he looked up toward the Lord, just in time for both sides to lock eyes.

Unclear if the Lord still retained consciousness, but he certainly realized Lance was the source of all this, like a spot of light in darkness, no matter how small, appeared dazzling at this moment.

Thus the Lord did not care about the various injuries on him, the remaining black eyeballs rolled and targeted Lance, attempting to seize his consciousness with evil power.

Lance naturally was unafraid, but this was merely the Lord’s illusionary trick; he took the chance to suddenly launch one last attack on Lance, only needing to take out Lance for the rest to be insignificant.

Come to your creator’s side!

The terror of this move had already manifested from the Limping Walker, but it was truly swift, and Lance lacked the Limping Walker’s size, and certainly not that [absolute void].

Even though Lance had reacted, he was still instantly swallowed by the tentacles summoned by the Lord, each tentacle spiraling like petals, dragging Lance into the Abyss, disappearing from his place.

Focusing on the empty spot, a sudden shock swept the field.

How could it be... How could the Lord... fall here?

The three still attacking the Lord, Reynard included, inevitably fell into panic.

"No!" Dismas let out a wail, his face full of disbelief, even his hand trembling as he held the sword.

"For the Lord’s revenge!" A muffled roar issued from within Reynard’s helmet, though the expression was unseen, the resolute shout was filled with rage, raising his Longsword for a charge towards the Heart of Darkness.

Balistan was silent, yet his form too had abandoned all for a rush at the enemy, this debt must be settled today!

But in contrast to their madness, the Limping Walker appears somewhat off, as it did not attack the Heart of Darkness following Lance’s disappearance, instead, it tore space with its tentacles.

Seemingly losing Lance, the Contractor, it saw no reason to stay, preparing to retreat.

However, suddenly it made a bizarre move, using small tentacles to pry open the rift larger, but did not squeeze through, instead thrusting its largest, longest tentacle suddenly into the torn-open space.

Even the Limping Walker seemed to suffer some pain, letting out a wail; yet the next second, the tentacle dragged something out from the unseen side of the rift, hastily retracting the supporting tentacles to close the rift.

Only at this moment could one see the thick tentacle, covered in scars, placing a uniquely shaped humanoid, though unrecognizable, the Warhammer already revealed it couldn’t be anyone but Lance.

It could actually fish Lance back out of the Abyss!

Just now Lance was in a state of ruin, like rusted iron armor, mostly dents and twisted forms from tentacle strangulation, without Black Armor, he could’ve been crushed instantly.

Yet now not much better off, uncertain what kind of place he was dragged into, the Black Armor covered in all manner of terrifying scars, even half the helmet missing, the overall display of metal dissolution and fragmentation, exposing inner flesh and bone.

Even struggling to stand, as many bones had been crushed and twisted by the tentacles, managing to stand in an awkward pose.

Yet despite this state, Lance did not fall, instead persisted in making movements, murmuring something.

"Do you think..."

Suddenly Lance raised his head, revealing an appalling half-face squirming with flesh, letting out a roar.

"Can you kill me!"

That roar seemed infused with Lance’s endless anger, the contained power swept through space like a storm, even forcing Reynard and the others to halt their advance.

"Lord!"

However, they similarly cheered the Lord’s return, which was an immense encouragement for them, surely the Lord would not fall so easily.

Yet at this moment, the oddly shaped Lance had already staggeringly moved towards the Lord, just stepping forward, bones displaced and twisted returning, correcting the odd stance.

With the second step, emerging growths revived from rotting flesh filled the gaps, muscle filled exposed bones, covered by skin.

When the third step was taken, Lance returned to his former self, even the Black Armor began to grow like a living entity, missing parts catching a faint Dark Flame, growing into the exposed face, slowly concealing it until the eyes vanished.

With Lance’s three steps, he wholly recovered, unwilling to hide and fight from afar but instead showing his most powerful state.

Black Armor joints emitted Dark Flame, more sinister spikes grew around his body, his rear collar surging vigorous Dark Flame, forming a cloak.

Lance ignored spiritual essence consumption, pushing himself to the utmost power, one hand gripping Warhammer, the other holding Wolf Fang.

At this moment, Lance’s aura immediately surged intensely, fiercely, powerfully! Nothing in this world could stop him!

Stepping forward, the cloak billowed backward, transforming into a streak of Dark Flame disappearing from the spot, the next instant Dark Flame exploded, Lance appearing before the Lord for a head-on hammer strike.

The Lord instinctively raised a hand to block, yet the space-annihilating Warhammer landed on the god-building body, breaking it with its contained terrifying power.

As Lance also descended from mid-air, his left hand’s Wolf Fang conveniently pierced the Lord’s body, slicing open a wound while sliding down.

Faced with the corrupting aura released from the Lord, Black Flame from his armor suddenly exploded to dispel it, as the Lord’s other hand reached, Lance countered with a hammer strike, simply breaking it.

As Lance’s form was again swallowed by Dark Flame, next second landing behind the Lord’s head, a slash severed the neck tube connecting to the heart, briefly pausing the Lord.

Then stepping in chaos-ridden flesh, slashing out with the blade, Wolf Fang easily cut the blood vessel linking the heart with above flesh ball.

Suddenly the Lord’s form seemed to lose support, entire body toppling, massive form along with heart crashing uncontrolled, making exaggerated noise.

Lance also followed in landing, but at this moment, the still-struggling Lord enraged Lance.

Unbearable, I will smash the Lord!

Thrashing the hammer down, hitting the Lord’s non-human skull, though not shattering it, still enough to destroy his consciousness, just as a reaction forms, he lies down.

Lance simply gave no chance, you’ve launched your ultimate move, now it’s my turn.

Sacrifice!
