Parallel World Pharmacy

Chapter 4: 16: The Road to Immortality

Pharma and Ellen only spit solidly and listen to Hugo.

"Initially I was also skeptical about the existence of the stone of the wise man, which has been spoken of among alchemists. But when I saw the crystal stone at the bottom of that underground lake, I changed my mind."

Hugo said he bought the land out of interest when he heard a landlord in Imperial Capital he knew tell him that there was a cursed land that rapidly corroded building materials.

And there was something underground, so he dug into the ground and found a sulphuric acid lake, and that's when he discovered layers of crystal stones and crystals.

That's all I've discovered.

Hugo's work is bad, but I can appreciate it as a feat.

"That's a special crystalline stone with memories of the dead, a substance from the stage before the stone of the wise. Shatter the crystal stone, burn it with the flame of divine art, and let the living dead suck it, and their memories will regenerate in the dead, just as you saw them."

"I see... you've often found that nature"

"It was a coincidence that the eagle found it, but it must have been discovered before and told in detail among the alchemists"

I also saw Pharma what Hugo called homunculus.

Little monkey who just thought people's consciousness had taken over.

And the woman who fell into the underground lake and died is also a living dead man.

"How did you make the living dead?

Shivering at you, Ellen asks.

"I didn't make it, I let them collect it through."

"Right. People with brain death or plant conditions..."

Pharma came to a pinch.

"Brain death? What's that?"

Hugo did not know the word brain death, but admitted that it was true when he explained that he was the one who fell into an unexplained coma. With Hugo, a court pharmacist, it's easy to get information about a human being in a coma from Teito's information network. Hugo told the patient's family that there was no prospect of recovery and deemed it taken away.

"And the dead, who have the memory of the crystal stone, become immortal."

Hugo speaks intoxicatingly.

"I'm telling you, if that woman, she fell into an underground lake and died."

Ellen breaks the story and points it out without interruption.

"That one's out of time. If it was a dead man who had just put in his memory, he would never have died."

(Like the dead don't die... oh, my condition)

It consists of the memory of a dead man named Full Healing of the Pharmacy Valley + the body of a Pharma boy who has been in a state of temporary death,

Physical attack, has the nature of not dying of drugs. That's Pharma now. It doesn't even look alike. Thinking about it, what Hugo is saying is not partly wrong.

"Don't you know?"

That's what Hugo says and stares at Pharma.

He seems to suspect that Pharma, who did not have the effect of a physical attack, is a living dead man.

Farma, you're not like that.

Ellen denies the opponent's indignation despite the Lord of honor.

"The memory of the dead, sealed in crystal stone, may last three days. The memory of letting that woman live was about to disappear"

The memory of the dead leaves the body in a few days, and the body returns to its original state.

Hugo had pinpointed that far after an enormous trial and error.

(This man, the title of Lord John is not Dade. inhumane experiments, though)

"There is an ancient document conveyed among alchemists that from a large number of crystalline stones a sage stone can be made. Then synthesize the stones of the wise, and seal their memories in the stones of the wise, and let them dwell in living corpses."

Did Hugo get excited, Don, and slap his fist on his desk.

"Immortality is possible."

Farma was listening, thinking it was a classic story.

That is the last thing those in power who have gained both wealth and fame will pursue.

"Yes... it should have been possible..."

Hugo groaned bitterly.

(So you couldn't find a way to turn crystal stones into sage stones)

Pharma perceives.

"You talked to me, so let's keep our word. Close your eyes."

As Pharma approaches Hugo, Hugo lags behind.

"What are you going to do!

"As I was saying, just open the Divine Veins."

Pharma meditated his eyes not to show the drug scepter to make the trauma worse, and stuck the drug scepter into Hugo's chest, opening his divine vein just now without even activating a chant.

but very few divine veins were opened as penalties, leaving no powerful divine power to be given.

Only to the extent of my apologies for not being banished from the nobility.

If none of the divine powers are present, they are once and for all recognised as nobles.

"Ah... oh..."

There is no sense of the wand passing through the body in the eye-meditating Hugo.

"It's over. You can't make it the same as before, but this will do for the moment."

Hugo, whose divine powers have twitched and recovered while few, must have finally felt alive. He leaked a loud sigh and lay down on the ground without words. He had the face that he had run out of sperm and roots.

Ellen, who could not even speak from the side and watched, closes further to Pharma, a great nobleman of good years, who also completely succumbs to His Holiness.

"Farma, you're scary sometimes..."

Ellen nods to convince herself that Pharma must not be the only one to turn to the enemy.

Hugo's confession looked over. But Pharma pursues it further.

"So, don't we still have something to talk about?

"... what are you talking about"

"You're doing something in the basement of this castle. Inside, you're asking someone for help on the matter"

Hugo's shoulder shivered giggly.

"Right?

Pharma flickers. Farma slept deep beneath the castle, distracted by the presence of horrible signs.

It is a texture similar to that of evil spirits but more physiological aversion. Something I've noticed since Farma stepped foot in Hugo's castle -.

"Was it made in the course of an experiment to build a sage stone? Can you control that?

"Wait, that... don't touch it! The door won't open again. I sealed it so it won't open again."

Hugo was pointed out the obnoxious part and began to wolf.

"With all these signs leaking outside, I don't think what's inside is sealed. It looks like an evil spirit. No, I feel more evil."

Pharma harshly points out that he's just putting a lid on the smelly stuff and sending the problem ahead.

"What, are you in this castle?!

Ellen stifled her shoulder and seemed to be jerking off.

"There's nothing I can do about that."

In a container that was storing memories extracted from countless crystalline stones, some reaction occurred one day and it was said that it had become out of control from one point on.

Looks like it's already getting out of hand. Even the rumbling mass of memories fused more irregularly and loosened control while Pharma was stopping the divine vein, he said.

"If you can't get rid of it, I'll finish it. Wait here."

"Oh, wait! Do not destroy that container, the synthetic spirit also possesses a living human being!

(Isn't that just the evil spirit...)

More and more, we can't just leave them alone.

"Hey, Mr. Farma! It's dangerous!"

Pharma leaves Ellen and Hugo on the spot, as declared, and uses flights to go underground all at once.

He pushed on relying on evil signs and stepped down in front of a large iron door at the end of the line.

The door was built to be pressure-resistant and stubborn in preparation for explosions from inside.

Pharma uses the diagnostic eye to see through the other side of the door.

(Hopefully)

"" Extinction Sanctuary ""

Pharma is a medicine scepter in his hand and puts an epidemic sanctuary on the doorway. Evil spirit-like signs responded to Pharma's sanctuary and contracted slightly. In that gap, Pharma makes every effort to run towards the stubborn iron door, sliding through the triple door and infiltrating the interior. Ellen, Hugo, and the servants seem to have come after us, but no one in the human race can slip through the door and get inside. The voice of Ellen calling Pharma's name can be heard through the door.

Whatever lay ahead, Farma felt no fear. However, the thought of never letting something disastrous inside out prevailed.

It was a wide Hugo underground laboratory renovated with underground sinuses, flooded with spellbound alchemy experimental tools. It's not like the tools Hugo usually deals with in court. Dark and evil signs abound with the stimulating odor of the drug.

Hugo had the face of the table as a court pharmacist, and the face behind him as an alchemist in life and death, fascinated by the study of darkness.

In the center of the laboratory are bottles that collect different crystal stones, large and small, and heavy metals that continue to react. One of the most eye-catching of these is the frighteningly sized cylindrical crystal transparent container connected to the tip of a giant distiller.

An indeterminate red and black liquid filled in it is awesome like a new organism.

It made a whimsical noise that condensed resentment, and seemed pulsating malice swirling.

(this or... the alleged culprit of the sign)

The thick glass was surprisingly engraved with the Divine Arts formation, but Pharma is beginning to flaunt even in a glamorous way.

(If I get this out there, it's gonna be the worst...)

Evil spirits possessed by Camus sprinkled with black death. There are evil signs of surpassing that.

Farma instinctively sensed that it would be dangerous to leave this alone for just one more day.

"I'll turn you off."

Pharma can put as much divine power into the drug scepter as he can.

The fluid was crushed all at once by increasing concentration to the extreme, eating up teeth, penetrating the cane without scratching the container. The fluid emits an uncomfortable scream similar to that of the human voice, which becomes black vapor and evaporates instantly.

The decomposed black fog became a clear liquid and was sucked into the crystal stone of the drug scepter.

(Shit!

Evil spirits have surrendered to the wand!

So afraid, waving the wand or looking at it is no different from the usual medicine wand.

However, there was one more crystalline stone on the side and it turned into six.

"To?"

Pharma with a barbaric voice.

Will memories enclosed in crystal stones become crystal stones again?

There are no more signs of evil.

Pharma, who turned to me in the voice of Ellen, resembling a scream, erases the iron door from the inside with a material erasure. Outside, there were the confused appearances of Ellen and Hugo and others.

"Mr. Farma! You go in there all by yourself... you're too handless."

Ellen jumped on Pharma.

"You're insane...! What's inside?!

Seeing the intact Pharma, Hugo feared that the memory of the dead might have moved on to Pharma.

You're right. I erased it.

Pharma makes the inside of the lab reveal.

Hugo, who thought it was something that could not be helped by human hands, was suddenly self-defeated.

"is... gone..."

For a moment, Pharma, who sees a loose-minded look, stabs him with a harsh tone.

"Do you mind, Lord Tremoille? Never again, promise me you won't get your hands on crystalline stone experiments. This is what happened because a living person distorted the memory of the dead."

Hugo completely disappeared from every suffering, just nodded powerlessly.

"... I'm sorry. It wasn't in my hands...... thank you"

I went through a distorted process, but Hugo might have wanted to do something about this evil spirit and asked an alchemist to know the mystery of the crystal stone, that's what Pharma thought.

"You are henceforth to focus on medicine, not alchemy"

Instead of obsessing about immortality, why not go back to the beginning and look back at human life and death through medicine? After Pharma told Hugo that he was nagging,

"If that's the case, I'll always work with you. As a doctor on par with you."

So Pharma left behind the castle of Hugo with Ellen.

A return journey to the Empire, where the sun is still abundant.

Ellen on the drug scepter, no more screaming. And

"The stars and the moon are close. Thanks for showing me this view."

I said that in embarrassment and lay my face down on Farma's back.
