Parallel World Pharmacy
5: 10 Reunion with Juliana and the new semester
Late in September. With plenty of spices purchased in the great city of Saint Fluve, Farma was hosting a routine outdoor secret curry party to which pharmacy staff, customers and officials were invited.
The open party was also held in Kawahara this year, but the number of invitees has also increased to a size that is not a secret.
Farma asked the Empress to take care of herself, but she was relieved because she refused because she didn't like spicy things. When the Empress participates, the participants atrophy, and it does not become a meeting to convey their daily gratitude. Furthermore, the ball you are planning after the meal will not be casual, but "Le Grand Bal of the Emperor," which will be formatted, and will probably be continued by those who do not know how to dance.
But I was relieved too. During this time, instead of the Empress coming, Prince Louis was sent on the same day. A prince who the common man could not see came to the party, so some regular guests tried to entertain the prince and earn points. Nevertheless, the surroundings of the prince were not allowed to approach the escort......
"Welcome aboard. Did our dishes suit His Highness's mouth?"
Farma greets the prince, who cheeks the curry carelessly. The regular guests who casually saw Pharma exchange words with the prince were surprised, but they found out that he was a patient of Pharma's reception, whether he was a prince of the Great Empire, "I can't believe we're seeing such a pharmacist ourselves!" He seemed proud. It is simple.
"Yeah, I like it. I'm taking home the Medicis cook."
(Oh, don't you love it? Kids love curry, don't they?)
Good, but Pharma sent an unusual answer.
"I had trouble with that. What shall we do with our dinner today when the cook is gone?"
"Ha, that's a joke."
Seeing Pharma's weak face, the prince seems to have satisfied his self-esteem.
After behaving as an appetizer, main curry, numerous hors d 'oeuvres and sweets, the orchestra plays and balls begin. Like last year, Pharma thought Ellen should be invited, but at the time Ellen was in the midst of a flashy fight with Palle. Is it a stomach or is it a divine battle in the river plains?
"Today, we need to be clear about everything!
"That's our line. Shake the wand rather than move your mouth! I'm gonna get you wet!
(Already. That's about it, both of you... because the prince is also present.)
Pharma put up a fence between them and the invitees with ice.
Don't let princes and guests get wet in battle between two water attribute theologians.
(I wonder why they end up like we showed right away, those two... friendly or bad guys)
Lotte and I gazed back as Pharma gently shook her head.
This one eats too much dessert chocolate and her cheeks are swollen like squirrels.
"Hikari and Hyokora Hikari?
I was in such a terrible state that I didn't know what I was talking about.
"I don't need chocolate, but I wonder if I can invite Lotte this year"
Don't let Lotte be ashamed that you won't be able to dance because you don't have the heart of baroque dancing, Pharma that you didn't think you could ask her out last year, but what about this year, when you ask her out, Lotte is thrilled,
"Thanks for the stirrups! To Hin, huh? Cheeks make me happy."
(You said you were very happy, right?
"Can I have someone? Lady."
When Pharma asks him to dance as he does, Lotte looks up with both hands at his bright red face.
"Hehi!
(You definitely said that, didn't you?
When she cleaned out what was in her mouth, she happily got a Farma escort.
"Eh, it was worth what Eleonor taught me during the pharmacy lunch break and so on. Ah!
It is Lotte that this year, with Ellen's special training, she was mastering baroque dance.
In the dance space, the gavotte ends like a fork dance dancing in circles, and the orchestra begins to stream a pair of dance menuettes. Menuette is a dance that dances in multiple pairs, with a strict formation, a court dance that can be ruined if one person is bad or steps wrong. Nevertheless, it was made up of a collection of all the well-known and famous things so that everyone could leap.
"You're good, Lotte"
Pharma smiles as she takes a light step and holds Lotte's hand dancing around. I don't think this is the first time I've danced in an official setting. The results of daily practice are questionable.
"It seems like a dream to be able to deal with Master Pharma"
"No way? Then who were you going to dance with?
"... oh, no"
Lotte got so upset that Farma gently turned her hand around her waist to take it before she fell.
"Oh, thank you!
By the time the song was over, the end of Ellen and Pallet was over. They were both screwed, so they were transported by stretcher and carriage to their respective mansions.
"It's you. Pallet, if you were me, you wouldn't hurt me at all!
The next day, Ellen came to work whilst becoming a full-body bee, who was so paltry and fulfilling as to be sober.
"My brother has nothing to lose."
Pharma returns a real word.
It will be a relief to the patient, but it is also a pallet to not tolerate women and children.
"Oh, my body is like a stone! If Juliana had a divine massage at a time like this, she'd be relieved... I wonder when she's coming to see me this time."
"Juliana... I wonder if I can come back here"
Pharma sent several letters to Juliana of the Holy Land, but with a crushed pear. It was fitting when I thought it was time to remind the priest of the Empire.
"You don't have to say it that seriously. She's not too busy with her."
Ellen puts her glasses back on as she exaggerates.
"Dear Farma, you want to see Mr. Juliana. I miss you, I want to see you too ~"
I miss Lotte as she rubs Ellen's shoulder instead of Juliana. Pharmacy officials don't know what's going on, just because they think Juliana just returned to the country.
(You're getting worried, you haven't seen anything terrible in Holy Land.)
Haven't you just put your shoulder in Pharma and been worried about it in the temple, or would you have made it home safely on the road to the Holy Land......
Farma, who was concerned about all things, thought that even this way it would not be revealed, and wandered off to visit the temple of the Empire City. The temple becomes fussy because the watching object has come this way, and the chief priest's comb responds while keeping calm. Farma did not enter the temple, but summoned the chief cleric outside to tell him what to do.
"Hi, I'd like to get in touch with Juliana, who supposedly is in the Holy Nation, but no matter how many times I've sent her a letter, she hasn't responded. Would you mind contacting the Chief Cleric?
"This is the medicine, God. What can I do for her?"
Juliana's name came up and Comb became openly suspicious of behavior.
Farma, increasingly suspicious to see how he panicked, asks as perseverance.
"I was wondering if I could properly deliver what I had deposited with her to the Grand Temple"
I want to see if Juliana has properly handed over the divine power in the treasure sword to the Great Cleric, Farma says.
"The other thing I wanted her to do was give me a divine massage."
"If it's a theological massage, there are also people who are good at the Temple of Imperial Capital, so let's call them"
"I'd like to nominate Mr. Juliana."
Juliana's is in good shape. And, Farma stresses.
Pharma did not give way resolutely, but too much because he persists in Juliana.
"Now would you like a special massage?"
The clerics whispered that I was feeling well. Excuse me. It's an extremely rude story.
"No!
(You're like the nomination of a lady from that system...)
Though strangely pryed into the subtle air, Farma simply walked away and put her hands on the outer wall of the temple perfectly, as she could not pull back with Juliana's cheapness blurred.
"What's going on?"
"This outer wall, it's made of the same material as the Great Temple, right?
"Yes, sir."
Comb looks at Pharma with his hands on a splendid outer wall. Pharma concentrated on her right hand, looking at the comb.
("Erase calcium carbonate")
When Pharma used the ability to erase, the main ingredient, calcium carbonate, disappeared from the material on the outer wall, and the enclosure of the temple evaporated in an instant.
"Hih,... Hih! So, what did you do!?
Comb shook up at Pharma's insignificant threats.
Comb did not know Pharma's ability to create and erase material, so he assumed that he had destroyed the wall using a secret technique unique to the patron saint.
It is Salomon's word that the Great Shrine is made of a single material of divine art to absorb divine power. Pharma only tried to execute it thinking that if it was a single material, it could be erased.
"Rumor has it that the Great Temple has dozens of floors underground?
Pharma asks softly.
"So what happens when all the floors of the Great Temple fall out?
All the priests in the holy kingdom, the moment Pharma used his technique, fell for dozens of meters and were beaten to the bottom, and died instantly without a fight. Comb nodded with a runny nose.
"I can go to Holy Land in an hour, if that bothers you."
"And I will call upon the Holy Nation..."
A few days later, two clerics solidified their sides and brought a woman before a different world pharmacy.
I'm wearing a veil and I don't see my face very well, but that's who Pharma knew right away. Apparently, the Holy Nation has succumbed to Pharma's threats and offered Juliana.
(Don't be too little, Holy Nation)
And so on, Pharma rejoices in reuniting.
"Juliana, how have you been? Get inside."
"Shit, it's not Juliana!
Ellen is very welcome. I guess you want me to give you a massage. But Juliana, from Pharma's point of view, looked like she was done. Your cleric sits in the corner of the store and monitors Juliana for escape.
"Um, I'll send her safely to the temple when we're done talking."
As Pharma tried to troubleshoot the priests in the dark, the priests shook their heads left and right.
"Don't worry, we'll be waiting for you. Please take your time."
"Oh, really?"
Farma called out first because it looked like Juliana was sinking through the counseling room.
"Was there enough divine power to move some kind of gear?
As soon as he heard that, seeing tears creeping up in Juliana, Farma decided to move the place to the upstairs Infectious Isolator's office. The clerics were unable to steal and listen to the story and struck their tongues, but that was not what they found out.
"It's safe here. I don't have windows, I don't hear voices downstairs because they're soundproofed, I want you to let me know if there's anything I can tell you."
Pharma opens a bottle of juice and asks her questions as she recommends Juliana a drink.
"Thanks to the divine power of Master Pharma, we succeeded in rewinding the gears of for 175 years"
"That's more than anything."
Farma was relieved to hear that Juliana was able to serve her purpose.
"but...... I was worldless and stupid"
Juliana revealed in a pompous manner. That the Great Cleric does not seem to intend to have a discussion with Pharma and is about to seal it in the basement of the Great Shrine. That we are rushing to develop a more powerful art of divine sealing for this reason. That Pharma is in imminent danger. Juliana spoke with regret.
"Right. You talked to me a lot...... but I'm fine. No matter what kind of hand they have, they're going to seal it like that. I'm not gonna be that stupid, either."
"And I am again brought the treasure sword of example..."
"Ha ha, just now you are the assassin. I wonder if an assassin could be honest with me about that."
Damn, Pharma laughs bitterly as he says. Then beneath her veil, where she was leaning down, she noticed marks like she had been punched in the face. There was not only a mole on his face, but also on his body. Pharma immediately gives Giuliana a hand.
"Aren't you seeing worse than you can imagine? I said I'd cooperate, so why would I?"
"The Patron God and man can't talk, they can't be trusted, and the Great Temple seems to assume from that."
(Sure, I threatened to smash the temple. apart from that and this)
Pharma is where my head aches.
"By the way, how did you become the clerk who takes divine power from me, who doesn't seem to make sense?
Farma wonders, as Juliana is inferior in terms of divine power and other things compared to Salomon, as opposed to saying that he is a pivotal cleric, or a cleric superior to Salomon, who was a heretical inquisitor.
How about depositing a treasure sword that could be a treasure for her like that and letting her pick up chestnuts in the fire? It is Pharma who wants to ask if the temple is so understaffed.
"For I have been chosen as the one to whom the gear revelation of has been given... Since then, I have been specially educated as a chosen one"
"What was the revelation like?
"On several occasions, I've seen the world appear distorted and invisible gear. That, too, many times. Otherwise, your whole body may become cramped and possessed. That's the kind of physique, so I think they found it."
(Heh...)
Pharma thought a little into the unexpected words. And even though I don't think so, I'll ask.
"After the revelation... haven't you had an intense headache? The longer, the more hours."
Juliana rounds her eyes.
"I did! It must have been! The priests say that is exactly the revelation from the patron saint......!
Surprised by Pharma, who said it was perfect as if she had seen the symptoms, Juliana nodded in excitement.
"If that's the case, it would be a flashing dark spot. And there must have been epilepsy."
Pharma told her as she was so weak that she was about to ram on the medical desk.
Pharma laments that a third party who sees such symptoms will probably listen to stories like divinity and demonic possession. As far as Juliana's condition is concerned, it seems to be subsiding now.
"Flashing dark spots are a precursor to migraine headaches. When the blood vessels of the brain contract and then dilate to affect the visual field, tickling gears, whirlpools, and spaces appear distorted. It's not a mystical phenomenon, it's a menstrual phenomenon that can happen to anyone, but I guess Juliana is someone with a terrible migraine."
Juliana's neck, unable to understand Farma's story, tilted more and more.
"I mean, anyone can see, right?
"If that's the case. I've seen that gear a bunch of times when I was a kid, but now it's slowly decreasing, isn't it? And epilepsy has nothing to do with possession or anything, and my brain's in an excited state, but that's not happening now, either, is it?
Flashing dark spots may disappear as they grow. Epilepsy, too.
If you are currently worried, you can prescribe medication to prevent it.
"Were you! I didn't know you were going to tell the patron saint that you were not chosen..."
Juliana looked complicated.
Training and hard work as the chosen are not blisters. But it seemed refreshing.
"I got a chest grip"
"That's good. Are there other kids like you?
Basically, being a pivotal cleric is conditional on having excellent divine skills, but there are several other humans who have become pivotal clerics in situations like Juliana's, he said. If we bring Juliana back to the temple again, I don't know what we're waiting for. She has learned too much about the secret of the Privy Council.
"Are you willing to go through the holy kingdom and become an imperial people?
"If I could do that, how good...... but it's not easy to throw away your nationality, let alone kill you if you go through the Holy Nation"
"Oh well. I'll take care of it."
Pharma said so and went down to the ground floor, walking straight to the clergy. The clerics get up wondering if the story is over.
"I will protect Mr. Juliana, so please take her to the Holy Land. He also hopes to remain in the empire."
The priests ate. And then he turns to hard posture and gets stuck in words.
"Hey, what are you talking about? It can't be that, she's a cleric and a subordinate of the Holy Nation."
Pharma was not frightened though.
"There were countless moles and scratches on her body. She falls under the category of" persecuted person who is no longer able to reside in her home country ”, then she is a refugee. Mr. Cedric, that's true of the Convention on International Law and the Protection of Refugees."
According to international conventions, if you are found persecuted, you must not return the person's life or liberty to a country where it is threatened.
Cedric, who knows nothing of the circumstances, responds instantly in the light of the law. Cedric's head contained imperial and international law perfectly, and he was exactly what could be described as a living crossword. Ellen, who was listening, immediately perceived Juliana's predicament and added:
"Didn't the Holy Nation also sign international treaties?
The priests couldn't help but eat down, but Farma didn't let Juliana out as hard as she could, so she had to go home with her bare hands.
Juliana renounced the nationality of the Holy Nation and was recognized as a refugee. Although he has protested that the Holy Nation was unjust, Farma did not respond to his surrender because he had taken the lead in putting the scars he had made on Juliana's body in the photographs and had the Empire and the Holy Nation call doctors from neutral third countries to diagnose it and have the report drawn up.
Thanks to Pharma's call on the Empress, a week later he was to be granted imperial citizenship and generously protected in the palace. And when she saw Salomon in the palace, Juliana said she looked like she'd even met a ghost.
"But don't tease the Great Temple. Can we throw him out of the capital?"
The Empress was outraged to hear about Juliana's condition and that Farma had been raided by Juliana.
"The truth is that because you have mastery of divinity, it doesn't work that way."
Salomon responds to the Empress.
The reason why countries other than the Holy Nation, including the Empire, cannot leave the Temple strongly is because the Holy Nation has a monopoly on the art of opening and closing divine veins, and without the priests, not a single person will be able to become a divine artist from their newborn that year.
Even if you banish only the Empire, the Empire is vast. If temples from all over the empire are raised together, the empire will be powerless at once. In fact, even looking at past history, the country that abandoned divine art towards the Holy Nation was soon weakened and ravaged by other nations, which were to submit to the Holy Nation again.
But now the Empire has acquired Salomon, a former heretical inquisitor who slept with Pharma's de-curse and knew the whole system of theology, knowing the secrets of the temple's pivotal ministry, which until then had been bound by curses and could not betray the temple. I got two handbills, and now if it's going to work, the Empress decided her mind, apparently.
"Salomon, Juliana. Then I'll lay down my life in secret."
Secret life descended from the Empress to two former clerics. It was about honoring the patron saint, abolishing the vain, founding a practical Orthodox Church in accordance with the original doctrine of the temple, and fostering good divine use as clerics.
"The patron saint is in my country, and I will no longer let him like the Holy Nation"
It was an act that conceived a danger that, if known to the Holy Nation, could be used as an excuse to call for an international imperial crusade.
Farma didn't know there was such a move, and she was finally in her new semester at Saint-Fluve Imperial Medical University. Pharma wears a college-designated professor's horn hat for ceremonies and a robe with an undergraduate chapter and goldsmith. Ellen told me to take a picture.
"Definitely half the fun."
"That's not true, you look great, Professor Farma. Academic gowns of that size are specially ordered, I'm sure."
"That would be a special order. It's not my entrance ceremony, and how many pictures are you taking!
Farma wonders if there are any other children professors who do that.
"What's an admissions ceremony? I'm gonna do a big graduation, though."
"Oh well. You're not going to have an induction ceremony."
Ellen laughs. Pharma recalls that the Japanese feel that the entrance ceremony is a grand one, but that there are few entrance ceremonies in Europe and the United States. Because the time for admission is falling apart.
When Ellen and I went to the auditorium at the designated time, students had already begun to gather. Since Pharma is on the faculty side, he goes up on the stage with the other professors and takes his seat as determined.
The university bell rings on time, and after the performance of the national anthem, Bruno takes the stage and gives the General Director's farewell. When the vice president reads the names of all the entrants, the students stand up.
The first regeneration
Thirty people in medical school.
Twenty people in pharmacy.
Thirty people in the College of General Medicine and Pharmacy.
Twenty lab faculties.
"Above, a hundred people are a freshman at Saint-Fluve Imperial College of Medicine. Allow your admission. Delegate, Chief, Emmerich Bauer"
The chief youth, who received an admission permit from Bruno in a tense mood, was a familiar student of Pharma.
(Was that kid the head of pharmacy? That's a German-like name)
From Pharma's point of view, it's that ”child”.
On the day of the acceptance announcement, he was a young man who refused to take Pharma lectures upside down, saying, "I haven't heard a child teach you anything."
(I'm glad a good student didn't bump out of school because of that)
There was then no uniform, but it was traditionally decided to wear the engraved cane belt of the undergraduate chapter, and a gift ceremony was held. The students, who dived through the difficulty of taking the exam and got it, were moved and gripping their belts with emotion.
This year, with the strong hope of Pharma, some civilians have just received a college-designated belt that is not a cane belt, because they have already received a special selection frame for civilian students who cannot use theology, but are students of the same department, with or without divine power or race, and do not discriminate.
"Starting this semester, the new organization of the university has renewed the system of all departments. Greetings from each dean."
This was the occasion for each dean to say hello. Of course, Pharma must also say hello.
Pharma was feeling exalted.
