Chapter 799 - 760 Arriving at the Center of the Earth
When the assistant and the three women heard that the Noah’s Ark submarine they were in had reached the deepest part of the pool and arrived at the Earth’s core, they were completely stunned.
Looking at the scene, a disbelieving Lili said, "Zhao Rong, are you sure we’ve reached the core? But why is there no magma? Instead, we see land..." Before she even finished speaking, Lili saw through the submarine’s transparent glass that they could disembark nearby.
Stunned, Yu Lan said, "Logically, the bottom of this deep pool should be completely underwater. So why has our submarine surfaced on a shore?"
"This is incredible," Xuelian murmured. "If we just drive the submarine forward a little, we could get out and explore... After all, this is the Earth’s core."
The assistant was suddenly reminded of a Hollywood film. "Brother Zhao Rong," he said, "this feels so similar to a movie I once saw, ’Journey to the Center of the Earth.’ In that story, when they reached the core, they didn’t find water or magma either, just land... And this place looks a lot like Mars."
While the others were marveling, Zhao Rong steered the Noah’s Ark submarine onto the shore. Once landed, he opened the hatch, stepped out, and exclaimed, "Holy crap! As he gazed out at the desolate landscape, overwhelmed with emotion, Lili stepped out of the submarine behind him. She glanced back at the water and said in astonishment, "My heavens! Why is the ocean behind us red?"
Yu Lan exited the submarine, surveying the Earth’s core—a place humanity had never reached. An incredible sense of wonder washed over her. "I never thought that I, Yu Lan, would one day come to the Earth’s core," she said. "But what’s even more amazing is that we arrived by piloting the Noah’s Ark submarine through a deep pool. This completely shatters my worldview."
"I need to capture all of this right now!" Xuelian said excitedly, frantically taking pictures with her phone. "When I get back to the surface, I’ll upload everything online. If I can be the first person in the world to publicly broadcast footage from the Earth’s core, I’ll definitely become an internet celebrity and get a ton of followers!"
Just then, the assistant spotted a dinosaur in the distance. He was so frightened he fell flat on his butt and started to stammer. "M-Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, Brother Zhao Rong! L-look! There are dinosaurs at the Earth’s core! Weren’t they extinct for hundreds of millions of years? How are they still alive here at the center of the Earth? This is incredible!"
Before the assistant could finish, Lili spotted a mammoth nearby. She was completely dumbfounded. "Mammoths have been extinct for ages, too," she said. "How can they be here? This is amazing."
"Look!" Yu Lan cried out, utterly astounded as she saw a saber-toothed tiger. "There’s a saber-toothed tiger over there!"
Xuelian, in turn, spotted what looked like a proto-beast. She was profoundly shocked. "My God! Are those the primitive beasts from the dawn of the Earth here too?" she exclaimed. "Is it possible evolution never started in this place?"
Taking it all in, Zhao Rong was equally astonished. "How strange," he said. "So this is what the Earth’s core is like. There aren’t just animals; there are plants, too. Look, there’s a coconut tree over there."
The assistant’s eyes locked onto a coconut crab climbing the tree, and he practically started salivating. "Brother Zhao Rong, we’re getting thirsty. Let’s go pick a coconut to drink! And after we drink, we’ll probably be hungry... Perfect! We can catch that coconut crab and roast it. Grilled coconut crab must be amazing!"
As Lili followed Zhao Rong toward the tree, she remarked with a sense of wonder, "This is truly magical. I never would have imagined in a million years that the Earth’s core would be like this."
Yu Lan, filled with deep emotion, added, "According to human understanding, the Earth is divided into the crust, mantle, and core, with the very center being full of molten magma. Yet, we’ve arrived to find not only a lack of magma but the existence of life. This is completely different from what we learned in our textbooks."
A sudden fear gripped Xuelian. "Brother Zhao Rong," she said, her voice trembling slightly, "we stumbled into the Earth’s core by accident... How are we going to get out? We’re not going to be trapped here forever, are we?"
Zhao Rong continued to survey the unfamiliar continent while comforting her. "Don’t worry, Xuelian. As long as I’m here, and as long as we have the Noah’s Ark submarine, there’s nowhere we can’t go."
Just then, the assistant spotted a human-like figure flash past a hollow in the distance. Terrified, he shouted, "Brother Zhao Rong! Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian! Look! There’s someone over there!"

Lili turned to the assistant. "Are you seeing things?" she asked. "Besides us, how could anyone else possibly be here?"
Yu Lan also doubted there could be natives at the Earth’s core. "You must be mistaken," she said. "It’s impossible for people to live here. There’s no sunlight to grow crops, so there’d be no harvests and no food."
Xuelian even took out a pair of binoculars to scan the continent carefully. Shaking her head, she told the assistant, "I’ve looked, and I can say with absolute certainty that besides us, there are no other people living here.
"Yes, there are animals, but they’re all apex predators.
"Moreover, these animals either haven’t fully evolved or are species that are already extinct. So, don’t even think about finding other humans. If any ever existed here, they would have been eaten by the saber-toothed tigers and other carnivores long ago."
