The assistant, his imagination running wild, chimed in, "Did you fight fire with fire? Did you buy the octopus’s natural predator, a prehistoric super turtle, from the Paradise Shopping Cart to scare it away?"
Zhao Rong listened to their wild speculation with a smile. "You’re all overthinking it," he said. "I didn’t use any advanced weapons or technology beyond our current civilization. I just had the Noah’s Ark submarine release a charge of over 10,000 volts. That’s all."
When the three women and the assistant learned that Zhao Rong’s method for eliminating the giant octopus was simply to electrocute it, they were stunned.
Lili gave him a thumbs-up, a mix of surprise and admiration in her expression. "Zhao Rong, your method might have been crude and unsophisticated, but it was incredibly effective and efficient! You’ll always be the backbone of this team."
Yu Lan was even more impressed by his resourcefulness. "Zhao Rong, you’re amazing! Your ideas and methods are always so unexpected, yet they eliminate our enemies with such little effort. I don’t even know how to praise you anymore... you’re just too incredible!"
Xuelian also gave him a thumbs-up. "Zhao Rong, where do you come up with these ideas? That was brilliant! If another sea monster dares to bother us, just crank up the voltage and fry it to a crisp!"
The assistant, thinking 10,000 volts was an incredibly high amount, said admiringly, "Zhao Rong, did you use ultra-high-voltage power transmission technology? Is that how you managed to release 10,000 volts from the Noah’s Ark submarine?"
Zhao Rong smiled and explained, "What you don’t know, Assistant, is that the Noah’s Ark has its own generator. It can produce up to one million volts. I only released a tiny fraction of its power just now. If an even more terrifying monster shows up, I can casually hit it with another 10,000 volts and fry it."

Just as everyone expected the torpedo to blow the eel to pieces, the unexpected happened.
As the torpedo closed in, the eel’s body suddenly trembled. It then discharged a powerful burst of electricity, intercepting the projectile from a distance and destroying it instantly.
When Zhao Rong, Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and the assistant saw their hard-won torpedo not only miss its target but get obliterated by the eel’s own electric discharge, they were left utterly dumbfounded.
