When the patient with the wasp disease approached, the assistant cried out in terror, "Zhao Rong, look! That man is coming toward us! His body is full of the wasp disease’s viral fluid... If he scratches or gouges us, we’ll be infected with it too!"

Before the assistant could finish, Zhao Rong immediately said to Lili beside him, "Lili, the medicine hasn’t worn off yet. Hit him with the Descendant Ending Kick... now!"

Hearing Zhao Rong, Lili didn’t hesitate. She unleashed a Descendant Ending Kick right into the man’s groin, felling him with a single blow.

As the man crumpled to the ground, he screamed in pain, "Why did you come to this hospital? You don’t understand... everyone in this town is evil! They trick all outsiders into this hospital and lock them in!"

Seeing that the patient was a living person and didn’t seem malicious, Zhao Rong stepped forward to inspect him closely. "What do you mean by that?" he asked.

The man with the wasp disease struggled to his feet and explained, "I was just like you, a tourist from another town. But as soon as I arrived, some arrogant town leader started harassing me. I wasn’t having any of it, so I beat him up... and ended up killing him. Then the villagers begged me for help. They said there was a strange hospital here and asked me to go inside, solve its mystery, and capture a monster that eats the dead. But as soon as I entered, I realized I’d been tricked. Not only did those villains lock me in here, but I also somehow contracted this wasp disease..."

Zhao Rong was startled. He found it hard to believe. "Something like that happened? That’s too bizarre."

Lili was utterly astonished. "If everyone in this town is evil," she said, "then does that mean we’ve been tricked? Are we trapped in this hospital with no way out?"

Yu Lan looked toward the hospital’s main entrance and said to Zhao Rong, "I’m going to try and walk out of here right now. If I can’t, then it proves he’s telling the truth."

With that, Yu Lan walked toward the hospital entrance. But before she could even reach it, the main doors slammed shut and locked tight. No matter how much she knocked, pounded, or kicked, she couldn’t get them to open.

When Xuelian saw that the afflicted man’s words had come true, her guard went up immediately. She said to Zhao Rong, "It looks like he was right. We’ve really been tricked and trapped in this hospital."

Just then, Yu Lan ran back over, panting for breath. "Zhao Rong, it’s no good! The main doors really won’t open!"

Hearing this, the assistant stepped forward with a suggestion. "Zhao Rong, with our incredible abilities, getting out of a hospital should be a piece of cake. Why don’t you pull out your phone, open the Paradise Shopping Cart, and buy some TNT to blast the doors open?"

Before the assistant could finish, the man with the wasp disease quickly warned them, "Wait! You don’t understand! If you try to force the doors open, the entire hospital will collapse and crush everyone inside!"

Hearing this, Lili was stunned. She frowned and asked, "So you’re saying there’s no way for us to get out of here?"

The man told Lili, "There is one way. You have to find the corpse-eating monster in this hospital. It will lead you out."

At this, Yu Lan asked in surprise, "You mean there really is a monster in here that eats corpses?"

The man nodded. "This abandoned hospital doesn’t just have a corpse-eating monster. It’s full of unsolved mysteries..."

Before he could finish, the assistant stepped forward and asked curiously, "That’s strange. Everyone who comes in here mysteriously dies. So how is it that you’re not only alive but seem perfectly fine?"

The man explained, "You don’t understand. After I entered this hospital, I was attacked by countless hungry ghosts and monsters. But because I have this wasp disease, they don’t dare eat me. They’re afraid of getting infected."

He then added sorrowfully, "But the companions who entered with me weren’t so lucky. They all died, one by one, in horrible ways..."

Zhao Rong listened, then asked the man, "How long have you been in this bizarre hospital?"

The man replied, "At least ten years."

Hearing that he had been trapped in this strange hospital for a decade, all five members of Zhao Rong’s group were stunned into silence.

Lili looked the tattered man up and down, then asked curiously, "I can’t imagine how you’ve survived for ten years in this creepy, abandoned, dilapidated hospital. What have you been eating?"

The man wiped some grease from the corner of his mouth and pointed to the nearby morgue. "What else could I eat? Of course I eat the dead..."

But he stopped mid-sentence, his tone suddenly shifting as he pointed to a small vegetable garden next to the morgue. "Ever since I got trapped here, I started that little garden by the morgue. I grow vegetables and raise chickens and ducks."

Following his gesture, Yu Lan looked over. Sure enough, next to the morgue, she saw a vegetable patch, a large greenhouse, and a small farmyard.

Xuelian asked him curiously, "Since this hospital is so terrifying, you must have found a safe place to sleep soundly at night. Where in the hospital do you sleep?"

The man let out a cold laugh and pointed toward the morgue. "Right in there," he said. "It’s actually quite comfortable."
