Aeliria’s recent slumber allowed her strength to break through to High Tier Divine Chosen. Before being conquered by Su Li, she was already a Middle Tier Divine Chosen dragon. Since entering the Bauhinia Flower Manor, she had been soaking in the wind eye of the Wind of Jilun, absorbing an enormous amount of its energy, allowing her to smoothly break through to High Tier Divine Chosen.

However, advancing further to Legendary Level, she got stuck. Because reaching High Tier Divine Chosen means entering maturity, she is now a mature dragon!

The term mature dragon refers to her power, not that she finally tasted the Forbidden Fruit with Su Li, transforming her from 206 bones to 207. The hallmark of this stage is that her body has reached the standard mature size, over 50 meters long, with immense strength.

The power of her breath weapon has reached maturity level, a hallmark destructive attack method. Meanwhile, her physical attack power is very strong, with tough scale armor, making conventional weapons hard to penetrate.

Her magic resistance has further enhanced, with good resistance to Middle Tier spells. She herself has also mastered more and stronger magic-like abilities.

Her wisdom has matured, and she has rich experience, with cunning combat strategies. She has established a stable and often hidden territory, possessing a considerable treasure hoard.

She poses a major threat to cities and small to medium territories. It requires powerful heroes, elite troops, or High Tier mages/priests to challenge her. She is the "standard" giant dragon opponent in many legendary stories.

The next stages are Mature Dragon and Elder Dragon (also known as Ancient Dragon).

Mature Dragons have a larger and heftier build than mature dragons, having reached their peak strength. The power, range, and frequency of their breath weapon have reached their zenith.

They have very high magic resistance, even immune to certain types of spells (like Fire Dragons are immune to fire damage, Green Dragons to Jilun Magic).

They possess powerful magic-like abilities and High Tier Dragon Language Magic; their casting ability may even rival or surpass that of human Great Mages.

Their wisdom is profound, and experience tremendous; they are cunning strategists and negotiators (if they are willing). Their territories are vast, treasures abundant, and they may hold certain status in dragon society.

This level involves Legendary Tier, as one must at least be legendary to be immune to corresponding magic damage.

This is not achievable through mere slumber and physical growth; every Legendary Giant Dragon wishing to accomplish their feats and have their name etched in the Giant Dragon Clan Tree must tread their own unique path.

Each Legendary Giant Dragon possesses unique abilities. For example, some Green Dragons may have the Source of Life; being near them allows one to feel the dense Wind of Jilun, and forests and monsters grow wildly, with army sizes expanding massively. Others might be named the Curse of Corrosion, rapidly corrupting and twisting the land they occupy.

Going further to Ancient Dragons, these are massive and majestic, carrying an ancient aura, and possess uncompromised assault power along with a series of special effects such as corrosion, curse, and splash, etc.

Their physical defense is at its peak, hardly harmed by non-Divine Artifacts. Their life energy is as vast as the ocean. They possess extremely high magic resistance, even immune to various types of spells. They have strong resistance to mind influence and instant death effects, etc.

They possess exceptionally powerful magic-like abilities and Dragon Language Magic; their casting ability is comparable to or even surpasses the top elf spellcasters (Great Mage, High Priest). They may master prophecies, alter reality, climate, environment, and other super-powerful spells.

Their wisdom is as deep as an abyss and their knowledge incredible; they are living libraries and historical witnesses. They usually live reclusively, in secret or extremely treacherous locations (such as Cloud Peak, Abyss, Elemental Plane) where they have vast nests and unimaginable treasures. They are the elders or hermits in the dragon society.

Further up, it is said there are Extremely Old Dragons, aged about 800 to 1200 years, reaching physiological limits with a suffocating ancient pressure, with scales that inherently carry powerful Magic Protection Fields.

Ancient Dragons, aged 1200 years or more, even nearing immortality. They are basically immune to magic, and their breath is synonymous with destruction.

However, by the time they reach the Ancient Dragon stage, they have generally disappeared from sight; nowadays, the strongest giant dragons humanity can see are usually the mature Legendary Giant Dragons.

Aeliria has just reached maturity, yet she’s contemplating how to break through to the level that other dragon races take 200–400 years to achieve, which is obviously too difficult. It’s like an 18-year-old newly mature girl trying to attain the ripeness and charm of a 30-year-old woman, clearly unrealistic.
