Chapter 1177 - 594: Visiting Fairy Town, an Unexpected Reunion

The deep night shrouding the entire Corridor of Truth grew even more tumultuous.

A crescent blood moon hung overhead, Lilith’s eyes seemed to open slightly, but perhaps it was an illusion. Yet it truly cast down a cold gaze, spilling an ominous, blood-red stain across the continent.

Everything that was alive, dead, or indiscernible between life and death on the land began to stir, even livelier than during the day.

But this liveliness belonged to others, bearing no relation to the human race, not even worth a copper coin.

Anyone daring to join the excitement would inevitably become part of someone else’s spectacle.

Swoosh! Swoosh!...

However, there are always exceptions. Two streaks of light shot through the low-hanging clouds, boldly piercing from the West Coast straight into the inland.

Whenever certain nocturnal esoteric beings or night-stalking demon monsters dared to intercept, they were promptly pinned to the ground by a divine spear flashing with lightning.

This was Byron and his party, invited by [Wolf Grandmother] Britney to visit the Fairy Town School.

But only Heather and Byron, mother and son, went, riding together on the Eight-legged Sky Horse. Byron held the reins upfront, while Heather collected her skirt and sat sideways on the broad horse back.

Violet, on the other hand, led the large force released from the Divine Kingdom to set up camp on the coastal forest that Byron had already leveled halfway with two moves.

This piece of land originally belonged to Britney’s private property.

After successfully advancing to a Fifth Order Pseudo-God, classified as an upper-level wizard within the school, her status significantly rose, and she paid no mind to this property.

She nonchalantly gifted this stretch of coast, along with a nearby estate of escaped slaves, to Heather, who saved her life, a "fellow student."

Byron immediately named it: "Distant View Port."

Tomorrow, after dawn, the first First Level Lighthouse connecting to the matrix will be built here, and on this foundation, the "Distant View Fortress" will be developed to serve as a fortress bridgehead for future long-range fleets and ships from various countries.

Like the Tayman Archipelago, it’s positioned as an International Port teeming with incoming wealth from all directions.

As for whether Britney worries about these Old Continent visitors being essentially colonizers?

In times of shared prosperity, she’s afraid of others stealing the meat, but in times of shared adversity, who cares about that?

As the weakest among the "Activated Knowledge, Old God Church, Wizard School" forces on the Eastern Continent, she hopes for as many human colonizers as possible to arrive.

Compared to the Old God Church and Activated Knowledge, at least they... don’t eat people!

"[King of the Wild Hunt] Your Majesty, if there’s a place in the Material World that can be called a ’hell’ for humans, it’s definitely here.

Ordinary people exist at the bottom of the food chain, and anyone can take a bite.

Though it’s the hometown I grew up in, I must objectively say it’s not a suitable place for establishing a vast colonial empire.

Were it not for the starting point of the Third Ring Current Zone ’Ten Great Undersea Kingdoms’ being occupied by the Old God Church, anyone with means would likely flee to the Dragon Court."

Britney, wearing a red hood, rode on a walnut broomstick and sighed faintly at Byron.

She had personally witnessed Byron’s terrifying strength, able to easily overpower her with one hand, along with a formidable fleet of five thousand men that could crush a small country.

She also realized that this force, setting off from the Dragon Court, crossing the First Circulation Zone, Southern Continent’s Hundred Beasts Paradise, the Second Circulation, and reaching the East Continent Truth Corridor, was not led by her "senior" Mermaid Princess Heather.

But rather by her son, a god and emperor, possessing a mighty empire within both the Dragon Court and Bantaan Archipelago!

Though the other party emphasized possessing only a [King’s Title] without a [Crown].

Yet, the extraordinary forces under his command alone could rival many leading university factions, and the mundane army left most of the Eastern Continent’s forces far behind.

Britney’s ancestors were also from the Old Continent sent by the Blue Hole to the Eastern Continent, even with one-sixteenth Bayfolk blood.

Not only did she not resist the colonizers, but she genuinely wanted to bring them in as external support, to invigorate the struggling humans of the Eastern Continent.

In fact, other human Wizard Schools shared almost the same attitude.

If they could reclaim this land from various esoteric beings, they would not hesitate to share the spoils with their homeland kin and even establish a strong alliance of mutual aid.

"But according to what this emperor said, the main goal this time is to rescue the besieged ancestral tribes in the Ten Great Undersea Kingdoms, which may not lead to sustained development and investment in the Eastern Continent.

So, now the only question is, in this swampy, blood-soaked survival environment, what can attract Silver Continent colonizers to keep coming here, supporting our resistance movement."

Britney glanced at Heather’s profile, and even though the "Fairy Town School" wizards possessed a pure-hearted temperament brought out from fairy tales, she couldn’t help but feel a bit envious:

"The kingdom in distress, the princess fleeing to another land, returning twenty years later with a son of immeasurable power and his great army to perform a kingly comeback.

Your story is already a fairy tale in itself, and it’s in the increasingly popular style of thrilling novels.

The young people in the school are very fond of this, and the core element seems to be: ’Step back, I’m about to show off!’?

Why bother writing another fairy tale story?

I guess once they accomplish this, another vibrant legendary tale will quickly materialize, won’t it?"
