Pirate Kingship

Chapter 1133 - 581: Deep Sea Welcome Ceremony: Giant Hiccup, Feathers Sink_4

When water is filled with too many bubbles, it loses its buoyancy, and even a feather will sink to the bottom of the sea.

Back when Pirate City Black Sails Harbor was being developed, countless adventure ships and pirate ships crashed into the ’Giant Hiccup’, meeting their doom, creating a massive shipwreck graveyard.

Some fearless Tower Sequence Naturalists conducted research on the edge of the Devil’s Triangle.

They guessed that those giant bubbles were released by solidified mud gas deposits, known as mud gas mines, on the seabed.

Under deep-sea conditions, the gas condenses into a solid due to immense pressure.

When these glacier-like solidified gases break for various reasons, the released gas forms huge bubbles on the sea surface.

When a bubble bursts near a ship, the buoyancy of the water pushes the vessel to the side.

But if the bubble bursts directly beneath a ship, the resulting high-speed water stream surrounding it falls back into the sea, capsizing the ship and sending it to the depths.

This results in the notorious unsolvable maritime disaster known as "Giant Hiccup", which even ordinary legends and flying professionals can only flee from alone, unable to save the entire vessel.

But The Golden Deer was clearly not ordinary!

The golden light from the Core Royal Domain did not simply form a sea barrier and stop there as usual.

Instead, at its brightest moment, it suddenly retracted, and along with the golden light disappearing, not only the almost-sunk Kingston, but also another ten swaying warships vanished together.

They then appeared in the superposed space of The Golden Deer.

In the superposed space reflected on the water surface, there was originally only one cruiser, one battleship, capable of achieving form superposition.

It could be a cruiser, a battleship, a schooner, or any form of warship.

Now, with the activation of "Navy is the Empire, Empire is the Navy", it can achieve numerical superposition!

Equivalent to an upper-level ability of the Legendary Warship Skill [Fleet Assimilation], it can superpose an unlimited number of fleets onto itself.

Possessing the "warship, fleet duality", before firing, the enemy never knows what they are truly facing.

It’s like opening a blind box; when the enemy thinks it’s a warship, it’s actually a fleet, possibly two ships, or perhaps... two hundred ships!

Most critically, besides retaining the ability of each ship as a Core Royal Domain, allowing Byron to use the [King’s Military Might] for law-breaking,

it’s additionally verified a truth: the only purpose of a cannon is to measure the territory!

As long as the warship reaches the corresponding sea area, it becomes the empire’s domain; within the range of the warship’s cannonfire, it is unquestionably the empire’s territory, with the Golden Law ready when called upon.

By this effect, even without occupying any land, Byron can still achieve the precondition for the [Sun King].

If warships are evenly distributed on the "World Serpent’s Celestial Current Belt", three ships alone can form a network, ensuring the sun never sets.

However, it’s too dangerous, even with the Kingdom’s Guardian the Master of the Fishing Spot Hawkins and his cousin Francis, taking advantage of the final calm before the arrival of Spiral Annals to begin the first circumnavigation.

Byron also decided to wait until he finished exploring the Echidna Triangular Circulation and assessed the risks before executing his plan.

The Golden Deer increasingly resembles his own beginningless and endless [Ouroboros].

Once he steps into the Sixth Order Demigod, this warship could immediately become one of the most powerful divine artifacts, and it’s not impossible for it to grow into a mythic warship akin to Noah’s Ark.

The Golden Deer accelerated forward after integrating the fleet.

With just a flash, it used the World Rift to jump a nautical mile away, dodging the increasing number of giant bubbles.

The crew in the fleet were about to raise their arms in celebration, but then they heard Byron’s new order:

"First-level combat readiness, take your battle positions, something big is coming up."

As soon as the words fell, a sticky roar rose from beneath the water.

The crew, who had just escaped peril, realized:

"This isn’t just a natural disaster ’Giant Hiccup’, there’s something else below!"

"It’s coming out, it’s huge!"

"Is this... a real giant?!!"

A colossal being with a massive decaying skull for a head and a body of black and red sludge swiftly climbed to the surface clinging to the mud gas bubble from the deep sea floor.

Clearly, there was no path in this world initially; it’s only because many people walked that it turned into a path.

Ocean currents function like rivers flowing through the sea, and triangular circulations naturally suppress various demon monsters, bizarre creatures, and evil spirits.

But the so-called safe routes in the Sea of Monsters are only a bit safer compared to the going and no return of the deep sea.

Even country paths that haven’t seen traffic for a long time get swallowed up by weeds, let alone perilous routes?

The vanguard opened up a new route, but it requires constant maintenance by the coming and going of fleets to truly turn the new route into a sea canal through which merchant fleets can pass unharmed.

It’s all too normal to encounter dangers on a new route that hasn’t been cleaned multiple times; this is clearly one of them!
