Chapter 1233 - 608: Doomsday Tablet, the Shattered Chief God
At the edge of the Rust Belt, on the deep sea side of the Sea of Origin Matter.
Several massive domains, each appearing as unimaginably colossal unsinkable warships, were engaged in an extremely bloody boarding battle, approaching, grinding against, and merging with each other.
This was, surprisingly, the Divine Kingdom where Sixth Order Old Gods slumbered.
And instead of the initially anticipated two, there were at least four!
Somewhat unexpectedly, the commonality between these Divine Kingdoms was strong, and the rule conflicts were far less than imagined.
Suddenly, with a burst of somewhat murky divine light, the barriers between the four Divine Kingdoms vanished, and they ultimately fused together like dewdrops on a lotus leaf.
This also caused violent shaking in the surrounding Rust Belt.
The originally invisible and intangible beacon chains straightened.
Nearby, all Transcendents on both sides, each at least Fourth Order Mythical Creature, suddenly saw hundreds of streams of light flashing through the Rust Belt.
All broke through space boundaries one after another, swept into the Divine Kingdom together by this shock.
At the same time, the "splitting" tendency opposing "aggregation" in the Divine Kingdoms took effect.
A group of outsiders did not fall into the respective Old God realms according to their affinity, but instead scattered randomly into different areas.
Plop!
Byron’s feet hit the ground, and what appeared to be a black rocky surface suddenly cracked open. The red-hot lava river below splashed, engulfing him up to his head.
And this was no ordinary lava; it flowed with fiery divinity, brimming with demi-god-level [Flame] authority, capable of melting even steel in an instant.
Byron, who had transformed early into a Fifth Order [Ouroboros], could switch freely between elemental energy form and physical body. Had it been someone else, even an average Mythical Creature might have perished instantly.
Even a Fifth Order Pseudo-God could suffer severe damage.
Byron broke free of the anchoring forces, jumped out of the lava river, and stood suspended in mid-air, his deep blue Imperial Navy Marshal’s uniform completely intact.
"Where is this place?"
Frowning slightly, he expanded his [Divine Sight] to look around.
Surprisingly, in the "Spirit World," his innate "Unity of All Things" which could usually cover hundreds of kilometers shrank dramatically, only spanning a few kilometers, barely better than the naked eye.
Realizing suddenly, normally, the "Unity of All Things" resonated with the world itself, a public asset anyone could tap into.
However, in the Old Gods’ Divine Kingdom, every rock and breath of air was private property; if the Divine Kingdom’s owner wasn’t in eternal slumber and its ownership ambiguous, even this bit of "Unity of All Things" might not be usable.
Referencing the perspectives of [Love and Desire Elf] Salome and Raven Mist Ni who landed on the other side of the Combined Divine Country, he quickly realized what had happened to their group of outsiders.
"Not only [Hawk-Headed God] Horus and [Venus Goddess] Ishtar, but several nearby Divine Kingdoms have merged together?
Weren’t these Old Gods supposed to be unlucky ghosts, with divine positions related to the sun and storm suffering deeper death after being drowned by the Sea of Origin Matter than their peers.
How could such a mutation occur?
Is it because too many Fifth Order Pseudo-Gods entered the Rust Belt at once? Or was it the [Curse Spirit·High Priest] who suddenly lost contact that triggered the mutation?"
"A collective action plan doesn’t fear strong enemies but unexpected events.
Originally, nearly thirty Fifth Order High-Sequence Extraordinary beings using [Creation Nine Pillars] to attack Horus had a very high success rate, but now dispersed, they’ll likely be picked off one by one by all sorts of weird things and kin in the Divine Kingdom.
The situation is looking dire now."
Byron couldn’t determine the source of the mutation for the moment and stopped delving into it further.
The situation in the Combined Divine Country was unclear, with Desert God System kin all around. The most critical thing now was to quickly regroup with the [Radiant Queen] and consolidate power to continue pushing forward the "God Hunting Plan."
His [Divine Sight] swept around, and his gaze fell on a tall hill not far away.
Here, a dilapidated temple of Desert God System style was mostly collapsed, the divine statue shattered into pieces.
A forge taller than the hill lay toppled on the ground, half buried into the iron-black mountainside, molten lava iron flowing down, surging like a river of magma.
This was a manifestation of a demi-god’s power, emitting astonishing heat even after fifteen hundred years immersed in the sea.
On the adjacent mountaintop was a similarly gigantic anvil and forging hammer, suggesting that giants once smelted and forged various tools here.
Without needing a sailing logbook to read information, Byron could guess this was the Divine Kingdom of [Fire God], [Bull-headed God], and [Master Creator] Putta.
"I ended up here? I really have a connection with [Master Creator]!"
Byron was delighted, and with a wave, he released Violet; the other three Wizards of the Fairy Town School remained in the Flower Mountain Celestial Kingdom.
The rules in the Combined Divine Kingdom were still unstable, and rashly releasing others could cause trouble.
If, like the Rust Belt, it attracted similar knowledge, what might come would not be ordinary illusions, but terrifying Old God avatars.
Violet was different; as a trinity couple, Byron would face the same troubles whether she was outside or not.
No need for more explanation, Violet had long shared his senses within the Divine Kingdom.
