Pivot of the Sky

Chapter 9 008, Gabriel's Power

Silver lights fall, like lightning in the sun, smashing a smooth strip between the two sand dunes in front, where the convoy passes no matter how far it goes. Rod Dick's heart seems to have contracted and his pupils are contracting, and when he sees this silver light, he realizes that Gabriel's physical surgery is at least seven levels above, a high-ranking warrior, ranked among the top warriors on the continent.

Between the first car and those two dunes, 60 or 70 steps away, it's hard to kill with Rod Dick's swordsmanship, and he hasn't found a hidden danger there.

Gabrielle doesn't care what Rod Dick thinks right now, but she actually finds dangerous signs far away, and it wasn't until this distance from her sword skill was effective in killing and injuring that she suddenly went into distress and was overwhelmed.

The sword cut between the sand dunes and the sand suddenly fell, revealing several iron cords with barbs and spikes. There is certainly a trap there, and if you don't get cautious, the first car in the convoy will get stuck in and block the whole team. A sand fog erupted on both sides of the trap, and two men with shields and a long-handled axe jumped out, looking very wolf.

Holding a shield in battle and single-handedly attacking a long-handled battle axe requires excessive strength and agility, which is not what ordinary warriors can do. The two men were masked with headscarves and dressed in the same light yellow colour as the sand dunes, lurking quietly under the hot sand for so long. If Rod Dick's car falls, two battle axes, one left and one right, will be a call to death.

Gabriel cut more than one sword, followed by a beautiful flip of his wrist in the air, and cut out two more swords on both sides, like two lines of meteors whistling around the sand. Two flying sand rolled up, dozens of yellow shadows jumped out of the sand, and iron chains flew out of the sand. Several people in the vicinity were bleeding, and the nearest chain more than a dozen steps away had been severed by swordlight.

Someone was injured, but no screams were heard, in no way ordinary robbers, but well-trained elite fighters. The general contours of the forward trap and the entire ambush circle have been clarified, and the front trap is located on a must-pass road between the two dunes, exactly where the uphill turns downhill.

On either side of this trap, a team of people are ambushed to the left and right of the convoy, and there are chains under the sand that can be stretched at any time, like a pocket. The ambushes on either side are unarmed and carry sharp machetes, a weapon commonly used by warriors in the Assyrian kingdom, usually used in cavalry warfare, but not too powerful in foot warfare, except at absolute speed when swinging swords.

Seeing this scene, Rod Dick calmed down from the shock and yelled a few quick orders. He brought in a total of 60 members of the SS, divided into five teams of twelve members each, two of whom were cavalry.

One of the most elite squadrons is on both sides of Maria's carriage, not moved by the fighting ahead, to prevent a sneak attack on the most important targets. Instead of moving forward, the other two teams rushed backwards to cover the entire side of the team, while the team leader restrained the rear merchant team from confusion. The cavalry of the two teams, led by the team leader, had arrived in front of the convoy, opened the battle formation, the front-line fighters held shields, and the shooting in the hands of the back-line fighters had been raised.

The shooting was impossible because Gabriel saw Rod Dickaboo in battle formation, jumped out of the shed and rushed forward with a bunch of silver light, and the warriors with the machetes rushed towards her. Finally, a scream was heard, followed by broken arms flying up, blood stained the sand dunes and occasional collisions of weapons.

The warriors' machetes finally blocked directly on Gabriel's sword, and even heard the tip of the knife cut through the armor, but Gabriel didn't stop, holding the shield sword all the way forward, facing the fall of everyone in front.

Rod Dick feels his eyelids are dancing, he is also a samurai with six levels of physical acumen, at the peak of a middle-class samurai, but as the owner of Cape Town State, he is of noble standing and has barely experienced such an unaccompanied assassination. Gabriel's swordsmanship was so unstoppable that Rod Dick saw it all with a bloody sensation.

He finally understood why Monfist's Temple of Isis had sent only one samurai to protect Maria, the usual leprechauns and robbers, and assembled the whole team not against Gabriel alone. Rod Dick thought to himself, if Gabriel wasn't here to protect Maria, but to assassinate her, would his own personal guard guarantee Maria's safety, even with the help of low-ranking magicians?

The Temple of Isis is able to send such a samurai and has left others speechless. But Rod Dick was crying out for Gabriel, and such a high-ranking warrior, if accompanied by a magician and two close friends, would be even more desperate. How could she be left alone? It was too subdued.

Gabriel just rushed out, and if a wise magician was ambushed in the distance, it would be easy to lose. Although noble magicians are unlikely to do such roadblocking, it is clear that the enemies they meet today are not easy.

Rod Dick couldn't sit down. On a single order, under the protection of the two squad captains left and right, he rushed out and followed Gabriel, but they couldn't keep up with Gabriel, who had killed the enemy all the way.

Gabriel left the body of an enemy all the way to a point more than a dozen steps away from the dune trap and no longer had a warrior with a machete in his sight. The two earliest fighters in armored long axes did not rush in like the others, but stood high and waited, and they seemed to be the most powerful opponents.

At this moment, Gabriel's attention should be completely drawn to the two warriors, one left and one right suddenly simultaneously roaring like a beast, two people suddenly appeared in the dunes... no! If you look closely, there should be three people, one standing behind the person on the left.

But the two people on the left and right were really too tall. The last one was covered in the shadow of the person in front. The silent appearance was hard to detect. The shadow was very faint and tranced. It should be some kind of hidden magic.

Measured on the Tianjin continent, the outer diameter of a divine stone is one inch, ten inches and one foot, and those two people are more than a dozen feet tall, standing there like two hills, arms thicker than adult thighs. Rod Dick recognized that this was a mountain giant living in a farther country east of the Assyrian kingdom.

Alpine giants live in the cold highlands. They are said to be descended from legendary giants. In fact, they are not very different from ordinary people, which is that they have a huge body. They can also learn physical arts, not very flexible but with absolutely excessive power. Such men are also recruited and trained in the armies of the nearby kingdoms, and the great ones, as heavily armed fighters with blunt weapons, play an astonishing role in the use of giant hammers, giant axes and other weapons on the elusive frontal battlefield.

Gabriel was only as tall as the chest of the two men, and they waved a heavy handled hammer with a sharp fang spike on the round hammer, and the bearded face fell on one left and one right, which was too sudden.

There was a magician, the third man standing in the shadows, who hid the smell of himself and the two giants by performing his magic, and at this moment launched a must-kill blow. Their position was very coincidental, if the convoy did get into a trap, when the first car fell, they were on both sides of Maria's car, which should have been the main force of the ambush, smashing the whole carriage in one stroke, and now they're using it against Gabriel.

Gabriel couldn't hide, and the wind from the giant hammer covered all sides. The two squad captains threw their guns out and flew left and right towards the two giants. Rod Dick also took the shot, his sword flew out, the tip of the sword in the sun with an unobtrusive faint halo, faster than throwing a gun, but the third person after shooting at the right giant figure.

A tremendous shock struck his ears, Gabriel raised the shield of his left hand to hold the hammer that fell on his left, and his legs fell into the sand. With the sword in his right hand facing another giant hammer, the silver heavy sword looks so thin at this time, as if it would crush gently.

But the sword didn't break, the giant hammer hit the tip of the sword with little sound, the long sword bent into an arc without breaking, Gabriel's mouth mumbled about something, the two magical stones on the sword emitted strange fluctuations. The sword suddenly bounced straight again, a seemingly distorting force of space dissipated, and the hammer slipped aside. The giant man's body couldn't help but beat half a spin. This hammer hit the tip of the sword, but it seemed to have fallen apart.

It's a magic trick, and it's an intermediate divine trick! As a samurai, due to the different directions of cultivation, it is difficult to systematically learn theology, nor is it possible to master theology of equal order. Gabriel is capable of mastering intermediate divinity, although it is surprising enough to do so through a sword held by divinity!

Hearing only a click, accompanied by a strange cry, the giant dislocated his left shoulder, his hands drooped and his hammer hit the dune. The shooting of the two squad captains also arrived. The shooting of the giant man to the right flew into something sticky nearby. He was led into the sand dune by a force. He would have missed by a few inches, and the magician protected the giant man in time.

Another shot hit the leg of the left giant man, a third-degree samurai did his best to penetrate several bulls, but at this moment only a few shallow inches deep, the giant's body was like an iron fight. But the damage was not minor, the giant hammer hit Gabriel's shield, the depression of the center of the shield showed a radial crack, the giant also shook his whole body, got shot again, and shouted and knelt down on one leg.

Gabriel pulled his legs out of the sand and moved forward, rubbing his shield against a giant hammer. You can see that the crack in the center of the shield is slowly disappearing as if it could be repaired by itself, but it stopped after only half of it was repaired. This shield that Rod Dick gave her was magically reinforced but could not stand the hammer of a giant man.

Gabriel stepped out, gave it to her left hand, and the edge of the shield spinned into the giant man's chest, which was an axe technique, and she used the shield as a battle axe. The giant shouted, releasing the hammer and grabbing both sides of the shield in an attempt to take it. Gabriel did not compete with him, and as soon as he had forwarded his strength, he let go and flew forward to the right, cutting out a gleaming silver light to the right.

The giant man unconsciously reached for the shield in great pain, Gabriel simply abandoned the shield and added a force. The giant fell down with the shield stuck in his chest on his back, and still had a gun stuck in his leg.

This encounter took a short time and the shooting at the right giant was lost, and the magician behind the giant was working on it. Rod Dick's sword flew towards him, strangely slowing down in the vicinity, making a string of sounds like something had been broken and landed on the ground, but stuck it on one of his feet and nailed it into the sand.

The magician made a painful hiss and then saw the desert and sky in front of him spinning and dancing!

It was Gabriel's slashed sword light, splitting his head off and spinning out, while the silver light crossed the right giant's waist, and the blood lasted two breaths before it burst out.

The man was an intermediate-class theologian, and had reached the fifth level of theology, which was already quite low. But he had bad luck today. In order to hide his voice, he didn't attack ahead of time, and let a samurai like Gabriel rush to such a close distance. When the giant in front of him couldn't protect him, he almost became the meat on the chopping board.

Don't forget that Gabriel can also use intermediate-class theology, although only to assist in combat techniques, not as comprehensive a system as a full-time theologian would have mastered, but in this case it would have been enough to kill him.

Gabriel ignored the giant man behind him, abandoning his shield to carry his sword forward, and there were two enemies with axes on the sand dune ahead. The two fighters, who appeared confident, saw the ambush in front so quickly disintegrated, revealed a slight panic, turned around and felt unable to escape, timidly hesitated, Gabriel had arrived.

The battle between life and death also had to be fought, the two drank and waved the long handle battle axe staggered and split the past, and the axe blade also carried a faint halo. Gabriel rushed to the nearest front and suddenly accelerated, bending his waist and legs, like a lion's forward thrust, his body had shrunk down through the sharp ray of the ax blade, hitting the warrior on the left.

Her shoulder guard hit the shield, and the tip of the shield hit the man's chest armor, which went into a large chunk, accompanied by the sound of a broken rib between his chest. Gabriel's figure then bounced off to the right, waving his sword straight at another warrior.

The axe handle was long, the person on the right had just lifted it, Gabriel had suddenly arrived nearby, the axe blade had fallen too late, hurried to lift the shield to shield the blade light. The sword suddenly shined brightly, as if it could tear everything apart, the shield was split in half, the sword plunged into his chest armor, the shock of the tip of the sword smashed the gut, and then pulled out.

Silver swords are intact and not even stained with a trace of blood. Gabriel's armored shoulder had several cracks that were slowly healing, and she turned around with a sword between the sand dunes, the sun shining on her golden curly hair, her beautiful face so cold that there was no living enemy behind her.

Rod Dick and the two squad captains stood between the two fallen giants, looking at Gabriel, full of admiration and amazement.

……

In the distant hills, in the shadow of strange boulders, a group of people lurked quietly, revealing incredible divinity. In the forefront are three men, in the middle, Fermijan Shaw Mo, the governor of the State of Syria, his most trusted deputy, Mister Morton, the treasurer of the State of Syria, on the left, and Kausman, the high priest and magician of the Temple of Syria, on the right.
