Chapter 109: If You Two Keep This Up, I’m Coming In There (Membership Extra - )
[Ding! The intermission has ended. The livestream will now continue.]
[Ding! Parallel-World Celebrity Series, Episode Two—"Master of Time and Space: Tiana"—Stage Three begins!]

[Ash]: It’s here, it’s here, it’s here! Stage Three!
[Iris]: We had to wait forever this time! I even stocked up on snacks for Axew!
[Leon]: Wallace, are you here? How does it feel to be a little girl?
[Wallace]: ...
[Steven]: Don’t bother asking. Typing is difficult for him now because his fingers are too short.
[Wallace]: Just you wait, Steven.
[Steven]: How frightening. A little girl is threatening me~
[Raihan]: Steven, did you actually go to see Wallace? You two didn’t...?
[Wallace]: Shut up! Do you think I’m like you?
[Raihan]: What did I do? Besides, I was only asking!
[Steven]: What a shame. Wallace refused to wear the children’s outfit I brought him, even though I selected it especially for him.
[Wallace]: You call that children’s clothing?! Trying to make me wear something like that is a crime, do you understand?!
[Steven]: An outfit like that is perfectly appropriate for someone of your current height.
[Wallace]: Aaaaah, Steven! I’m going to sue you!
[Steven]: Sue me? In your current condition, I don’t think you’re capable of suing anyone.
[Wallace]: @Juan, Master, help me sue Steven!
[Steven]: I suggest conserving your energy. Devon Corporation has the strongest legal department in all of Hoenn.
[Wallace]: Then I’ll sue Devon Corporation too!!
[Juan]: Understood, Wallace. I’ll help you after I obtain my license to practice law.
[Wallace]: ...
The video began playing.
In the footage, Asher crouched beside the edge of the rift and brought up a new set of data on his system panel.
"As expected, the rift’s expansion isn’t a natural phenomenon."
Asher enlarged one section of the waveform.
"Someone on the other side is interfering with the space-time structure—and the interference is continuous."
Dragonite lay a short distance behind him, its tail wrapped around an enormous rock.
The rock was visibly changing from whole to shattered, then returning from shattered to whole again. A time loop had trapped it inside a sequence lasting less than three seconds.
"Old friend, stop playing with it."
Asher spoke without turning around.
Dragonite released a low growl and loosened its tail. The rock fell to the ground and crumbled into a pile of dust.
Asher closed his notebook, stood, and dusted off his trousers before looking up at the continuously expanding rift overhead.
The space-time rift suddenly shook violently.
The intertwined blue-and-pink pillar of light expanded sharply. Countless hairline cracks appeared across the barrier’s surface, while points of light sprayed continuously from the rift’s edges.
Dragonite immediately rose and moved in front of Asher.
"Tch."
Asher rolled his wrist, his expression still casual.
"Looks like I’ll have to strengthen it."
He raised his right hand with his palm facing the rift.
A transparent barrier expanded from his palm and spread along the rift’s edges, enveloping the intertwined blue-and-pink pillar of light.
The expanding pillar was forcibly pushed back.
It contracted slowly but with extraordinary stability, as though an invisible hand were pressing it back one inch at a time.
Half of Dialga’s face emerged from deep within the rift. The red markings across its steel headpiece appeared especially vivid amid the space-time turbulence.
It opened its mouth, and a distorted beam began gathering deep within its throat.
It was an energy cannon created by compressing the power of time to its absolute limit.
The beam struck the barrier, causing a ring-shaped shock wave to erupt across its surface.
Transparent ripples spread outward. Every rock they passed instantly weathered into powder.
"That move is rather impressive."
Asher murmured to himself while continuing to maintain the pressure of the barrier with his right hand.
Palkia extended its long neck from the other side of the rift. The pinkish-purple, winglike structures on its shoulders repeatedly slammed against the barrier’s inner surface with heavy thuds.
"You two, could you settle down for a while?"
Asher held his forehead and sighed.
"I haven’t slept properly in several days, so I’m not in the best mood. If you keep causing trouble, I’m coming in there."
Dialga and Palkia simultaneously froze.
Then they withdrew deeper into the rift.
The energy fluctuations within it visibly calmed down.
Both powers slowly receded into the rift’s depths and stopped striking the barrier.
Asher nodded in satisfaction.
"That’s more like it. Let’s all conserve our strength. When the proper time comes, I’ll naturally let you out."

[Leon]: ??? Did he just create a space-time barrier with his bare hand?
[Professor Rowan]: The speed and area of that rift’s expansion completely exceeded the theoretical limits of every energy barrier currently known to us. Without relying on any external equipment, he produced a barrier capable of isolating space-time turbulence from nothing. This is simply unheard of.
[Professor Oak]: The destructive force of space-time turbulence isn’t an ordinary physical impact. It acts directly upon the structure of space itself. If a rift of this scale appeared in our world, the entire region surrounding Mount Coronet would already be uninhabitable.
[Raihan]: I only have one question. Is Asher really human?
[Steven]: Brother Asher has always been the kind of person who quietly accomplishes extraordinary things. It isn’t as though you all met him yesterday.
[Wallace]: Steven, stop talking as though you knew about this from the beginning.
[Steven]: I didn’t know.
[Wallace]: Then what are you so proud of?!
[Steven]: Am I not allowed to be proud of my brother?!
The video continued playing.
Interwoven blue-and-pink light slowly flowed within the octagonal framework like a river that had been tamed.
However, hidden currents still surged in the vortex’s depths.
Giratina’s presence remained faintly perceptible on the other side of the rift, like a hand reaching up from the bottom of an abyss and repeatedly testing the thin membrane separating space and time.
"It seems Giratina has no intention of giving up."
Asher crouched again.
"Dialga and Palkia have been trapped deep inside the rift by Giratina’s power. They can neither emerge nor retreat, which is why their energy continues leaking outward."
"To break through the barrier between the Reverse World and the real world, Giratina needs to use Dialga and Palkia’s powers as anchors."
"In other words, the twin dragons of time and space are currently trapped keys, and Giratina is using them to force the lock open."
Dragonite released a deep roar and struck the ground heavily with its tail.
"Exactly. Giratina’s objective is most likely to open a permanent passage between the Reverse World and the real world."
Asher closed his notebook.
"That means suppressing the rift alone won’t be enough. We need to sever the connection between Giratina and the twin dragons of time and space."
"And the only person capable of sensing Dialga and Palkia’s energies simultaneously..."
He paused.
"...is Tiana."
"But not yet. If she enters now, Giratina will immediately notice her."
"We need to wait—wait for an opportunity when something else draws Giratina’s attention away."
Dragonite tilted its head at him.
"When that moment comes, I’ll deal with Giratina."
Asher stood and placed the notebook back inside his bag.
"Giratina has undoubtedly noticed that someone erected a light formation on this side of the rift. It will come for me first."
"Once all of its attention is focused on me, Tiana will have her opportunity to enter."
