Pokémon: My Parallel World Daughters Revealed

The video continued playing.

At Canalave City’s harbor, a Salamence skimmed across the surface of the sea at an extremely low altitude.

The tips of its wings brushed the crests of the waves, sending sprays of seawater into the faces of several sailors unloading cargo beside the docks.

The sailors were about to curse when they looked up and saw the enormous dark-blue creature. They immediately closed their mouths in unison.

Salamence circled above the harbor for half a turn before finally locking onto the Champion Theme Park in the center of Canalave City.

A vast lawn occupied the middle of the park, upon which stood a life-size bronze statue of Sinnoh Champion Cynthia.

Salamence folded its wings and landed steadily in front of the statue.

The wind pressure generated by its landing made the noticeboard beside the statue rattle loudly, while the tourists surrounding the lawn collectively retreated three steps.

On Salamence’s back, Tiana rolled over and mumbled indistinctly:

"Mommy, let me sleep for five more minutes..."

She showed no intention of waking up.

The surrounding crowd froze for two seconds before exploding into chaos.

"S-S-S-Salamence?! This is a park! Who parked a Salamence here?!"

"There’s someone on its back!"

"It’s a child!"

"She’s sleeping!!"

Salamence yawned, lightly fluttered its blood-red wings, and continued lying there without moving.

By the time Officer Jenny arrived on her motorcycle, three layers of spectators had already gathered around Salamence.

She removed her helmet and stared at the enormous pseudo-Legendary Dragon type lying obediently on the grass. Then she looked at Tiana, who was still sleeping soundly on its back.

Officer Jenny took a deep breath and spoke to the officer beside her.

"Check this girl’s Trainer registration first."

The officer typed several times on his tablet before turning the screen toward her.

Tiana’s Trainer registration information appeared on the screen.

Mother: Cynthia

Father: Asher

Trainer Rank: S

A line of bold red text had also been added to the notes section:

The official seal of the Sinnoh League headquarters appeared beneath it.

Officer Jenny stared at the information for three seconds.

"Put up a security cordon and keep everyone from getting too close," she instructed the other officers. "We’ll wait until the child wakes up."

Tiana looked around at the security cordon, the crowd of spectators, and Officer Jenny walking toward her.

"...Salamence, couldn’t you have chosen somewhere with fewer people to land?"

Officer Jenny stopped in front of Salamence.

"You’re Tiana, correct?"

Tiana jumped down from Salamence’s back and obediently nodded.

"Hello, Officer Jenny. I’m sorry for causing you trouble."

Officer Jenny froze briefly before smiling.

"It’s all right. Next time Salamence lands, please have it stop at the harbor. The grass in this park was only laid last week, and it left several holes behind. Now I need to write a report."

Tiana blinked her mismatched eyes.

"Okay. Thank you, Big Sister Jenny."

Officer Jenny’s tone immediately softened.
