Wisps of steam rose from the hot-spring pool. Asher leaned against a rock at the pool’s edge, his arms resting on either side.

"This hot spring is much more comfortable than the Gym’s swimming pool."

Misty sank her shoulders deeper into the water until only her head and neck remained above the surface.

"The pool at Cerulean Gym is meant for training," Asher replied with his eyes closed. "This one is meant for relaxing. How could they possibly feel the same?"

"Speaking of which..."

Cynthia turned toward Asher.

"The third episode should be starting soon, shouldn’t it?"

"Mm."

Misty counted on her fingers.

"It should be about time."

Misty and Cynthia exchanged a glance before simultaneously turning toward Asher.

"Honey."

Misty’s voice suddenly became three degrees gentler.

"You wouldn’t happen to have a third daughter, would you?"

"Ahem."

Asher opened his eyes and tactically cleared his throat.

"This hot spring is wonderful. Let’s not discuss subjects that could damage our relationship."

Misty and Cynthia simultaneously reached out from either side and twisted the soft flesh around his waist.

"Hiss—!!"

At that exact moment, the system notification sounded.

Asher reacted as though he had received a divine pardon.
