You know what's really weird?

‘Zero (0) Impact’, the starting point of every case……… is the fact that we humans, not monsters, created the cursed event.

For the first time in 2016, a portal was opened.

Like I said, it was only humans who opened the door. Specifically, the Dimensional Gate Project, which the United States had secretly studied, suddenly opened its doors to unexpected success.

Obviously, it was us who opened the portal. But the consequences were too dire for us. When the first dimensional door was opened, the giant beast that protruded from it destroyed half of America's most powerful nation in the world.

We're calling this case Zero Impact now.

Nowadays, monsters have been precisely graded and classified, but there was no such thing at the time.

Anyway, on a recent basis, the rank of the monster at that time was the Ultra (U) grade, a monster with A + Grade Emitter and S + Grade Enhancer, a total of seven Grade Giant Trigonometric Turtle. In fact, he's powerful enough to lightly crush a few Colonies even if he's emerging nowadays. Monsters' blood, bones, teeth, horns, leather -- more powerful than I thought, even in modern technology. And the most crucial thing was that the monsters each held one.

This nucleus, which would later be called "magic stones," or "manaton," had an energy that was truly unimaginable.

Things have changed a lot since it was discovered. Rather, the humans began to wait for the monsters to come out. No, we finally figured out how the portal from which the monsters came out, and before the monsters came out, we used it to enter where the monsters were.

And maybe that's when... the Knights started showing up.

People with superpowers that we used to see in Hero movies...... People who were awakened for some unknown reason and became extraordinary are called Knights. When I was a kid, I used to think that all knights were superheroes.

Later, of course, I knew they were just another human being who was completely profitable, but for a while, Knight was my object of interest.

Knights were initially called simply Awakeners, but the most powerful technology that man possessed and the magic technology that came from monsters began to make all kinds of things, and as the Awakeners began to deal with them, they started calling them Knights.

After all, hunting monsters through the portal became more resilient, and the era of "Monster Hunting" began with Bayaro.

When is it now?

Zero Impact is happening now, and exactly 20 years have passed. 20 years has changed more than we thought, and the most important of all is that human civilization has made tremendous progress in new directions. This civilization, called Mado Engineering, was created by combining human technology with the byproducts of monsters' bodies and the most important Manathon.

And annoyingly, progress wasn't just about humans.

As time went on, more and more dimensional doors opened, and more powerful beasts and monsters protruded from within.

Now, even the Five Dimensional Gates don't open that badly.

Fortunately, this means that more knights and the essence of Mado Engineering, Titan, have been developed.

Titan was a night-only weapon that only the Knights could differ from, and in short, it was a night-riding bipedal robot.

Ten years after Titan was invented, Titan was now really diverse in size and variety. Titan's basic form, however, resembles the mechanical robots that used to appear in Japanese animation in the past. Of course, I don't know exactly how much they look like, not the generation that grew up watching animation.

After the combination of Titan and Night was completed, the humans clearly outperformed the monsters.

They formed a team, small or large, and then entered their own capabilities and captured all the monsters within. That way, even if the portal opens, not a single one of them will come out.

A team made by knights called them "Knights" regardless of their size, but most of the truly skilled knights are part of the Knights.

Of course, there were knights from the country or Colony. They are called "death threats" and their gatherings are called "death squads."

Despite the increasing authority of the knights since the World Knight Group (WKG), the strength of the approximations has decreased greatly, but the approximations are still maintaining significant power with full support from the World Colony Alliance (WCA).

Of course, no matter how many knights there are, we can't close every portal in the world. Even the monsters killed everyone who entered the dungeon and failed to clear the World War.

That's a hell of a thing to do.

Fortunately, because of the World Nights Association's "few Laws that Night Must Keep," most knights move to stop the monster from spreading out of the portal, Code Red.

But even if we did, we couldn't stop the damage completely. Especially in a remote place where people don't usually go that much, the damage has to get bigger.

As a result, the human right to life gradually diminished, and now we are united to live in a city center. Monsters keep popping out, and humans keep dying fighting them. As it turns out, the world's population hasn't seen much growth since the first monster attacks.

In fact, there are reports that they are declining slightly.

Constantly appearing dimensional doors and monsters. And the knights who hunt them.
