Chapter 1372: Can Beating Her Solve the Problem?

Thanks to Callix Linton’s timely intervention, Athena Linton wasn’t beaten by her father, Michael Linton. Otherwise, with Michael’s temper, he would have surely given her a harsh beating in his fury.

"Everyone sit down, let’s sit down and discuss how to handle this situation." Old Mr. Linton glanced at Athena, then shifted his gaze to Michael, "The incident has already happened; do you think beating her will solve the problem? Will beating her make the incident disappear?"

He looked at his son, hoping his words would help calm him down.

Serena Zimmerman took Athena and led her to the sofa to sit down. As Athena gradually calmed down, she suddenly realized she had been too impulsive just now.

She couldn’t believe she dared to talk to her dad that way. Thankfully, her grandfather intervened in time; otherwise, she wouldn’t just get scolded but likely beaten half to death.

Seeing Serena and her daughter have sat down, Amelia Linton also pulled Michael towards the sofa, "Dad’s right, this isn’t the time to be angry. We need to sit and discuss the best way to resolve this situation."

It’s really distressing how a girl could do something like that; she just couldn’t understand what’s happening with youngsters these days, daring to do anything.

"Easton! Go to your mother-in-law’s house to check the situation, and apologize to your father-in-law and mother-in-law on behalf of your uncle and aunt." Easton Holmes was about to go sit down when he suddenly heard Callix say this, and instinctively paused.

Although William Turner is a boy, he is the most innocent in this matter. Callix felt their family should apologize, and sending Easton ahead to apologize is to show their family’s attitude towards this incident; afterwards, he’d have Michael’s family formally apologize.

Michael understood his father’s intent, so when his father finished speaking, he didn’t offer any opinions and merely gave Easton a grateful look.

"Easton! I’m sorry, but can you make a trip for your uncle and me? Be sure to put in a good word for Athena." Serena felt a bit guilty; it was all her daughter’s fault, but it affected others, and she worried this might disturb the family’s harmony.

Even without Serena asking, Easton would do it anyway. On one side was his sister, and on the other side was his brother-in-law, so he was determined to handle this matter well.

"Aunt! Don’t worry, I will." After saying this, he shifted his gaze to his grandfather, "Grandpa! I’ll be going now."

Callix nodded at him, "Go ahead."

He had great confidence in his grandson’s ability to handle things, so he felt assured sending his grandson to manage the situation at the Turner Family.

Easton turned around and walked out of the living room, heading straight for the door. Just as he was almost at the door, Rosie Thompson suddenly ran towards him, "Dad! Where are you going?"

Hearing his daughter’s voice, he stopped instinctively and turned to look behind him.

"Dad is going to Grandma’s house to bring Mom back; you be good and play with your brother and sister." As Easton spoke, he bent down to catch Rosie as she ran towards him.

However, instead of following her dad’s instructions to play with her siblings, Rosie wrapped her arms around her dad’s neck, "I want to go to Grandma’s to get Mom with you."
