William stared at the youth in the distance, his eyes flickering slightly.

The young man he was looking at had dark brown hair and black eyes. His wheat-colored skin glistened slightly under the sunlight, as if he had applied extra oil to make himself shine.

’This guy never changes...’ William’s lips curled into a faint smile when he saw Liam’s shiny skin before silently looking away.

Although he wanted to talk to him, it wasn’t the right time, as they weren’t even familiar with each other yet.

’Considering how directionally challenged this guy is because of the side effects of his trait, even though the registration building is right here, he probably won’t be able to find it anytime soon.’

A plan quickly formed in William’s mind, and he immediately followed Abel inside the building.

There were three counters inside, each with a short line of students standing in front of it.

The people waiting in line were all new students just like William, who had come to register.

Following Abel’s instructions, William stood behind the line with the fewest people.

The registration process was very simple. Students only needed to hand over the evaluation letter they had received from the Evaluation Center.

Once their information was registered, they would receive a student badge and could officially be considered students of the Sun and Moon Academy.

Besides the student badge, each student also received the academy’s uniform and a certain amount of academic credits.

The number of academic credits a student received depended on the result of their Aether Affinity Test.

The minimum requirement to enter the Sun and Moon Academy was to possess High Grade Aether Affinity.

Some people could still enter the academy with Middle Grade Aether Affinity, but only if they possessed a powerful trait.

Of course, even without a powerful trait, some nobles with sufficient background could still enter the Sun and Moon Academy despite having only Middle Grade Aether Affinity.

Students with Middle Grade and High Grade Aether Affinity received fifty academic credits upon registration.

Those with Excellent Grade and Perfect Grade Aether Affinity received one hundred academic credits.

As for Transcendent Grade Aether Affinity holders, they received five hundred academic credits, an amount far greater than that given to any other affinity holder.

Those with Transcendent Grade Aether Affinity were the true darlings of Aether Energy. Even if they didn’t work particularly hard, their cultivation speed would still be terrifying.

Not only that, they could achieve a level of control over Aether Energy within a single day that ordinary people would need months of hard work to attain.

’If I remember correctly, that guy will join the academy around four months after the semester begins...’ William recalled a certain person, and his eyes twitched slightly.

The receptionist placed the letter on a flat, brick-like stone.

After verifying its authenticity, the receptionist opened the letter and looked through William’s information, including the portrait attached to it.

When he saw that William’s Aether Affinity was at the very peak of Excellent Grade, he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

However, he wasn’t particularly surprised.

After all, this was the Sun and Moon Academy.

With students arriving from every corner of the kingdom, seeing someone with Perfect Grade Aether Affinity, let alone Excellent Grade, wasn’t unusual.

It was his student badge, and the single star represented a first-year student of the academy.

William also received two sets of academy uniforms. One was white, similar to the one Abel was wearing, while the other was black.

His one hundred academic credits had also been transferred into his student badge.

After explaining a few more important matters, the receptionist handed everything over.

William thanked him and stepped away from the counter.

"Done?" Abel asked when he saw William returning.

"Yes," William nodded before speaking gratefully. "Thank you for your help, Senior Abel."

Abel smiled and waved his hand nonchalantly after hearing William’s words.

In fact, the reason he had guided William so enthusiastically was because of his outstanding talent.

With William’s Aether Affinity, it was highly likely that he would become much stronger in the future, and if that happened, Abel might be able to ask him for help someday if he ever found himself in trouble.

William naturally understood Abel’s intentions, but he didn’t mind it as this kind of things were very normal.

The two of them walked out of the registration building together, and Abel soon bid him farewell.

"Junior, I still need to submit my task, so I will see you later."

William nodded as he watched Abel walk away.

However, he didn’t keep his attention on him for long before shifting his gaze elsewhere.

A moment later, he spotted a tall young man with dark brown hair scratching his head near the academy’s entrance.

William’s lips curled into a faint smile when he saw the familiar figure, and he began walking toward him.

However, he had only taken a few steps when a voice suddenly called out from behind him.

"You, stop for a second."
