Why did they have to work so hard, bracing themselves for injury or even death just to fight off the monster tide? Why could the places saved by Cyan God kill monsters so easily, so safely, and so effortlessly? Even worse, in places like Divine Capital and Qing City—which were facing fourteen and thirty-two monster tides respectively—Cyan God visited so frequently that many players were just kicking back and chilling, starting livestreams to chat instead of fighting monsters. This immediately made many people feel it was completely unfair.

Unfortunately, their sense of injustice was useless. Shen Fei only had five Teleportation Arrays; he couldn’t build any more.

The good news was that these places had managed to capture Neutral Cities in the first place, which meant they had some strength of their own. Therefore, despite being full of complaints, they could still fend off the monster tides. It was tough, but at least they weren’t in a situation where they were being completely steamrolled.

The rest either didn’t need his help or, due to geographical limitations, he was unable to save them.

With no new settlements to save, all Shen Fei had to do now was start his mindless farming rotation. He rapidly teleported between the cities and settlements. Then, he would instantly command the Defense Towers to annihilate the monsters, collect the experience, and teleport to the next location.

"Cyan God, it’s Hang City!" she said. "They can’t defend Hang City’s two cities! The director of the Hang City Tourism Management Office contacted the director of the Songhai Tourism Management Office, asking if Songhai could send players over to help! Also, they wanted to ask if you could help!!!"

The woman explained her reason for stopping him, much to Shen Fei’s surprise.

"Hm?" Of course, Shen Fei knew about Hang City, and he knew better than anyone what the deal was with its two Neutral Cities. Now, reminded by Zhao Li’s girlfriend, he recalled Hang City’s situation. Indeed, with their own strength, they couldn’t possibly defend the cities. They lacked the power to capture the cities, so naturally, they lacked the power to defend them. Hang City’s two cities had actually been captured by Shen Fei on a whim.
