As the thought crossed his mind, Shen Fei’s first instinct was to try and open his personal panel. At the same time, he tried to summon the 100 mobile Defense Towers from his inventory.

He saw that his personal panel opened without issue and his Defense Towers could be summoned freely. Although the Forum and all other external communication channels were cut off, he still let out a long sigh of relief.

But looking at his surroundings, he knew he had guessed wrong. This mission space, called [Heaven-Opening Gate], was not a special region on Earth or some Secret Realm as he had assumed.
High in the sky, a fierce battle suddenly erupted around the floating structure. Unable to determine where he was, Shen Fei immediately summoned a Detection Tower to scan the environment. At the same time, he took out the Divine Artifact Avatar created by his [Double City Protection] and began to sense the location of his father, who also held a Divine Artifact.
What the hell is this place? How come the monsters in the wild have health bars? And these damn monsters... do they just spawn out of thin air?
Using the Detection Tower, Shen Fei quickly scanned an area hundreds of kilometers in radius. In a distant forest, he detected a large swarm of bizarre-looking monsters. Although trying to use the Divine Artifact Link failed to connect and allow him to speak with his father, Shen Fei could still sense that the Immortal Palace was within his Defense Towers’ firing range.
