Lv Beiguang returned home. Now Yang Xiuqin has moved back home; after all, it’s not suitable at the distillery, too many people there.
Yang Xiuqin looked at her husband’s expression, knowing something must have happened.

Lv Beiguang sat there. "Xiuxiu, after you give birth, let Xue’er take care of you, I’ll go to the Capital."
"What happened? I can manage on my own."

"You don’t need to worry about home. What’s really happening?"

"You should go today. I’m home now, along with Guodong and Li Xue. You don’t need to worry."
Lv Beiguang shook his head. "Jing Chu doesn’t want me to go now. She wants me to wait until you’re through confinement to go.
I wasn’t around when Ruoyan and the others were born. I can’t let you down again."
"It’s fine, we’re surrounded by familiar faces, I’ll be alright."

Li Yungui also got the news and rushed over with his wife without having dinner.

From an outsider’s perspective, the two are newlyweds; if they really divorce, they might regret it in the future.
Lv Beiguang nodded; Xiao Wei also said to let Jing Chu cool down before deciding, fearing they’d regret it.
Yang Xiuqin was physically strong; by afternoon, she was fine, although still in pain and not clean underneath, she was able to sit up herself.
Her milk is very good; if not for having this baby, the twins would have had enough to eat.
Lv Beiguang saw his wife and child were fine and felt relieved. At night, a transport truck came.

"Come on, stay here at home."
"Dad, we can’t just let Chaoyang off!" Guodong said angrily.

Lv Beiguang went back in, checked on the children, said something to Yang Xiuqin, and then left.
Qu Xiaoli prepared many good things; Lv Beiguang didn’t refuse. He had no opinions about the Li Family.
At night, Li Xue knew the matter too. "I pity Second Brother; he cares so much about Jing Chu. How could that damned woman scheme against my Second Brother like this?"
Guodong said nothing; they all thought Chaoyang was innocent. But he disagreed, thinking it was Chaoyang’s lack of caution and resolve that led to this. In the end, it was still Chaoyang’s mistake.
There’s no way he’d easily forgive Chaoyang.
"Guodong, my Second Brother really isn’t that kind of person." Li Xue tried to speak well of her brother.
But Guodong remained silent. Li Xue knew Guodong was furious. The situation was as it was, and the right move was to resolve it quickly.
In the dining hall that evening, Chaoyang saw Jing Chu come to eat; he didn’t dare approach, only watched from afar.
