Chapter 1459: Beg Me!
Jiang Xue held back her hardship, her eyes almost ablaze. Yet, she had to endure, or all her efforts would be in vain. However, she believed that sooner or later, she would get revenge for this beating Huo Cong had taken.

"What, are you begging for mercy now?" Jin Hao looked at Jiang Xue with interest, not expecting her to say such words.
"Mr. Jin, Huo Cong is my man. If you hit him, it’s like hitting me. Tell me, what do I need to do for you to let him go."
"Do you really want me to let him go?" Jin Hao looked at Jiang Xue coldly, as if trying to glean something from her face.
"That’s right!" Jiang Xue nodded. Huo Cong was her bodyguard, only responsible for her safety, not for taking the fall for her.
"Alright then, beg me!" Jin Hao looked at Jiang Xue with a face full of arrogance, as if to say, beg me, and I’ll release him.
Jiang Xue’s expression changed but quickly regained composure, then she pleaded with Jin Hao, saying, "Mr. Jin, I was wrong. I beg you to spare him."
"Sister-in-law, I’m fine, you don’t have to beg him." Huo Cong’s face turned ugly when he saw Jiang Xue actually pleading with Jin Hao for him. He didn’t want to see Jiang Xue begging others because of him, didn’t want to see her looking inferior.
However, Jiang Xue ignored Huo Cong, stood up, walked towards Jin Hao, and pleaded again, "Mr. Jin, I’m begging you to release him!"
"Pleading like this shows no sincerity. If you really want Mr. Jin to let him go, then kneel." Ah Lin coldly interjected from the side. He finally got to see Jiang Xue lower herself to beg, an opportunity rarely afforded to him, so he had to humiliate her properly.
So that she wouldn’t think this was still Huaxia, still acting high and mighty all the time.

It’s not that she was unwilling to kneel for Huo Cong. It’s just that she wouldn’t kneel to anyone aside from her parents and elders.
It seemed, today she needed to use another approach, or else Huo Cong wouldn’t escape this beating, and she might suffer a bit as well.
