Rebirth: Pampered Wife’s Counterattack
Chapter 164 - Opinion
Chapter 164: Opinion
“Forget it. Manxue…” Long Shuhai’s heavy eyes suddenly lit up with inspiration. “Fang Xinxin took matters into her own hands and spent three hundred thousand dollars. This sum won’t be wasted!”
Upon hearing this, Fang Xinxin secretly sent Bai Qinghao a message.
Fang Manxue was intelligent and immediately understood her second uncle’s intentions. She did not continue harping on the three hundred thousand dollars. After all, there was a chance they could regain double of that amount!
“I won’t return the goods. Where are the clothes I bought? Wrap them up for me.” Long Shuhai directly ordered in an arrogant tone.
“They have already been wrapped up.” An employee brought five, exquisite shopping bags over.
Long Shuhai received them with some resentment. “Five sets of outfits costs three hundred thousand dollars. They are so expensive. Are they really of good quality?”
“Our shop only offers clothes made of the best materials. Please set your heart at ease.” The employee handed them the receipt.
Fang Manxue took the shopping bags with enthusiasm. “Let me see. What did my third sister buy?” She brought out each piece to scan them. “The quality and design seem to be pretty good. But… the sizes seem to be pretty small, aren’t they? These are all in the size M. My third sister needs at least a size XXXL!”
“These five outfits do not come in such large sizes.” The shop manager informed them with a smile.
Fang Manxue glared at Fang Xinxin. “What are you up to? Why did you buy the clothes in such small sizes? Can you wear them?”
“Second uncle has already bought me five sets of imitation goods worth a hundred dollars.” Fang Xinxin glanced at the shopping bags she was holding. “Although they are cheap, they still represent his sincerity. My clothes have already been bought. The premium goods bought here were naturally meant for you to wear.”
Fang Manxue’s expression turned poor. “Fang Xinxin, how did you choose the clothes? I don’t like the style. First of all, they are all sets of blouses with pants and secondly, these designs are meant for mature women. Although the quality is good, when I put them on, I’ll look like an old lady!”
Fang Xinxin’s expression was innocent. “So what?”
“I don’t like the outfits you have picked!”
“I know.”
Fang Manxue was stifled with anger. “Then why did you pick these clothes for me! You’re wasting money!”
“Second sister, you’re in the wrong for saying such things.” Fang Xinxin pretended to be heartbroken. “I was willing to wear the imitation goods worth less than a hundred dollars, and I still bought clothes worth three hundred thousand dollars for you. How could you be angry at me…”
“That’s right.” The store manager spoke up for Fang Xinxin. “She willingly gave up three hundred thousand dollars for you.”
“No matter how expensive they are, I won’t wear clothes that I don’t like!” Fang Manxue raged on. “I don’t care. Fang Xinxin, wear them yourself!”
“They won’t fit me.” Fang Xinxin shrugged. “In any case, it was our second uncle who bought them for you. If you don’t like them, why don’t you throw them away?”
Long Shuhai scolded Fang Xinxin with a stern expression. “Third niece, how could you buy clothes for your second sister without asking for her opinion?”
Fang Xinxin smiled mockingly. “Aiyo, second uncle, didn’t I learn this from you?”
“When did I teach you such things?” Long Shuhai’s teeth ached with suppressed anger. He dearly wished he could slap the ugly girl to death.
Unfortunately, in order for him and the Fang family to stand up again, they needed to rely on her. He not only had to hold back from hitting her, he also had to make her happy.
Fang Xinxin lifted the bags she was holding. “Second uncle, when you bought these imitation goods for me, did you ask if I liked them? Did you let me pick them on my own? And Fang Manxue, on the few occasions that you bought things for me, have you ever asked if I liked them? Since you guys never asked for my opinion, why do I have to ask for yours?”
“Fang Xinxin!” Fang Manxue was nearly angered to death.
